Arc 102 - Fallen Angel Uprising (Part 2)

While they were eating, they started talking.

“So, what happened to the girl you loved?”

Nazar choked on his food.

“Where did...*cough*... that come from?” Nazar said out loud.

“Oh, I don’t know. I thought you loved her and wanted to know how far it has gone with her.”

Nazar took a deep breath.

“It will never happen--”

“They are already dating,” Aria said.

Nazar sighed and was about to start eating but noticed Alice staring at him.

“What?”

“I can’t believe this.”

Alice laughed.

“Tell me how it happened. Did you confess to her?”

“What? No!”

“Then she did?”

“No…?”

“So, tell me how it happened.”

Nazar sighed.

“So, when I was outside of the multiverse, I finally found a way to reach the Void. Once I was in the Void, I ‘projected’ my body to Earth. I appeared in her house and she kissed me. Once I returned, I wanted her to stay away for her own good, but she said no. She said she wanted to stay with me. And that is how it started.”

“Man, I can’t believe this happened. Are you sure you are not dreaming?”

“No?”

“So, where is she now? And when was the last time you saw her?”

“Well, I saw her like two weeks ago and no idea where she is.”

Alice gave him a blank look.

“Pick up a phone and call her, right now.”

“Why are you so bossy all of a sudden?”

“Come on, Aarin, say something to him.”

She nodded her head.

“Yep. I agree with her. You need to be in contact with her regularly. I mean, you can teleport, so just go there now and say hi to her. It should be easy for you.”

Nazar gave them a blank look.

“I am getting relationship advice from people who have never been in a relationship.”

He slowly clapped.

“Ouch,” Alice said.

“Yep. That hurts,” Aarin said. “But in my defence, angels don’t have any kinds of relationships. We don’t fall in love, unless you are me, of course.”

“Well, is that not the best thing ever?”

“Same applies to me.”

“No, it does not apply to you, you demon.”

“Demons don’t really get in ‘relationship’ either.”

“I wish I was born an angel or a demon.”

Aria just looked at them in confusion.

Nazar thought about something.

(Oh yeah, about the ageing...)

“Hey, Aria, what about your parents and everyone else? Are they ageing fast as well?”

Aria nodded.

“My parents are but not sure about others.”

“Ah. I guess I will have to fix everyone, then.”

“Does this not creep you guys out?”

Everyone looked at Aarin in confusion.

“Well, I mean Nazar. Does he not creep you guys out?”

“....................... I am right here, Aarin.”

“I know… but when I met you a few months ago, you were so different. On the day we fought, you were very different as well. And then once you returned from your deaths, you seemed a little different. And now you are very different.”

“Agreed. It kind of creeps me out too,” Aria said.

“Yep. From the stories I heard, he seemed much more evil… but now he is all too good.”

Nazar blankly stared at every single one of them.

“So, this seems a little weird. You were all about hurting and killing people and now… well, you seem the opposite,” Aarin said.

Nazar sighed.

“I guess death changes people.”

There was a little silence.

“Let’s play truth or dare,” Aria said.

“...”

“...”

“...Why?” Nazar said.

“Well, it will be fun. You three can basically do anything.”

“True...”

“Oooh. Nazar, truth or dare?” Alice said.

Nazar thought about it for a while.

“Truth.”

“How much do you love Laura?”

“Okay, dare.”

“Where is Laura?”

“University,” Aria said.

“Okay, so teleport there. Without becoming invisible and kiss her on the cheek.”

“Can I destroy the universe instead?”

“No.”

“Fine. Like it is a problem,” Nazar said as he stood up. “I can pretend I did it--shit!”

All of them laughed.

“Now, you have to record it.”

“I can ‘see’ it from here and I will show the others,” Aarin said.

“You can’t.”

“Then I will show it to them,” Solace said as she took her physical form.

Nazar sighed.

“Fine.”

He vanished into thin air. He appeared behind Laura and kissed her on the cheek and then teleported back in. It took less than a fraction of a second.

“I did it!”

“Nope.”

“Doesn’t count.”

“I did not see anything.”

“Well, Aria, you are slow. And yes, Aarin, it does count. And you shut up, you demon!”

“Why are you being so hard on me?!”

“...”

Alice got up and pinched his cheeks.

“And you know it does not work, right?”

“Shut up.”

Aarin sighed.

“Okay, Nazar, truth or dare?”

“Dare.”

“I dare you not to eat chicken wings for the rest of the month.”

“...............................................................”

Nazar just stared her blankly for a minute.

“Are you sure you are not a demon, Aarin?”

Alice sighed.

“This game is boring. There is nothing you can’t do and there are things you can but won’t,” Alice said.

“True,” Aarin agreed.

“Anyway, Aarin, did anyone ever tell you that you look so much better in a tracksuit?”

Aarin looked at herself.

“You know, this is the first time wearing anything besides that white dress when I am in own form.”

“I can relate,” Nazar said.

“And why are you wearing all black again?” Aria said.

Nazar just shrugged.

(Ah.)

Nazar finally remembered something he wanted to ask Alice.

“Hey, Alice, how did you save Emma?”

Alice did not really look surprised.

“Well, I wanted to stop my father from having access to another weapon, so I made a deal with Bur’goth and he saved her.”

“But that deal--”

Alice smiled.

“The thing is, that deal was only effective for human souls. He did not know who I really was, so it is ineffective against me.”

“Ah?”

“You see, when a demon and a human make a deal, their soul then belongs to the demon. However, Bur’goth never ‘activates’ the contract immediately. He wants to activate when he needs to. So, once we made a contract, he did not use that contract. And once I died, he found out I was demon, so the contract is useless now.”

Nazar looked relieved.

“I see.”

“Anyway, when did you find out about that? Last year when you got your powers?”

“Two months ago,” Nazar replied immediately.

“.......................................................”

Alice gave him a blank look.

“WHAT?!?!”

Everyone looked at her in confusion.

“IT TOOK YOU THIS LONG TO NOTICE HER DNA IS SIMILAR TO YOURS?!?!”

“Well, I only found out when I saw her in another reality.”

Alice let out a long sigh.

“John and Mary knew about it, so why did they not tell you anything?”

Nazar’s eyes widened.

“Have you never read their mind?”

“No. Not their or Emma’s...”

“I see. Well, they knew from the start. It is why I brought you here.”

“I see...”

“You know… I am kind of glad that you don’t read everyone’s minds. They might want to keep some stuff a secret.”

Aarin nodded.

Nazar sighed.

“That is why I barely use my telepathy now. Not unless I absolutely need to.”

After an hour or so, Emma came home. Then Nazar took her and Aria somewhere else. Emma had asked him that she wanted to meet her biological family but at that time Nazar was not really feeling it. So, now he wants to stop them from ageing fast and wants Emma to meet them.

They appeared in Aria’s parents’ house.

Once they did the, their aunt and her husband gave Nazar a weird look.

“Oh, you are all grown up, Aria?”

(I never noticed before...)

“I am just here to tell you something,” Aria said.

(I healed Aria.)

“You see her,” Aria said as she pointed at Emma. “Well, she is Nazar’s biological sister.”

(Their minds are fractured.)

Her eyes widened when she heard that.

(Their minds are not in the right state...)

“Really…? But...”

“It is a long story.”

For the first time in a long time, she smiled.

“Oh, and he is here to heal you. Because we were inside that things, we did not age. But now we are ageing faster and faster. So, he is here to heal you.”

They did not really say anything.

Nazar closed his eyes and used his healing and time-based power, as well as DNA manipulation to heal them fully.

He first healed their minds and healed their bodies. Then readjusted their bodies to different age and chose the perfect one. Then rewrote their DNA, so they will no longer be ageing fast. He then recreated their bodies to look the way they are.

After a little while, they started to act a little differently. Before, they always seemed like they did not have any energy to do anything, but now they looked better. However, they did not look older.

“Done!” Nazar said.

“So, is she really your sister?”

Nazar nodded.

“She was going to die as well, but someone saved her.”

Nazar’s aunt then went closer to Emma and hugged.

“I am… I am sorry for what my sister did to all of you.”

“...”

Emma did not say anything. She was kind of taken back a little.

“I wish your brother had survived too...”

“Ah?” Emma looked shocked.

“You… You don’t know?”

She then looked at Nazar.

He took a deep breath.

“Apparently, we had an older brother but he was killed after I was born. I also saw a version of him in another reality.”

“S-seriously?”

Nazar nodded.

“S-so, I was going to die as well?”

“If it was not for Alice… then yes.”

Emma’s mind went blank for a second.

She then looked at her aunt.

“No offence, but I am glad they are dead.”

Nazar was surprised by Emma’s comment.

After a little while, they went across the globe and healed everyone who was used in that experiment. And Emma got to meet them.

Once they returned back home, Aarin and Alice were talking.

“Oh, you are back,” Alice said.

“Yep.”

“And where is Aria?” Aarin asked.

“She said she will stay with her parents for a little while.”

“She will be moving from here to there regularly,” Emma added.

Nazar sat down and he looked tired.

“Healing people consume a lot of energies,” Aarn said.

Nazar nodded.

“But add DNA manipulation as well as time manipulation to it, then its even worse.”

“How long will it take you to recharge?”

“I can recharge in a second if I wanted to but if I don’t want to, then I will be back to normal by morning. A little food and a little sleep.”

“I see...”

“That reminds me, I am hungry.”

Both Aarin and Alice sighed.

“So, am I,” Emma said.

“So, you want to eat--”

“Nope. Anything but that spicy chicken wings.”

“It was not that spicy,” Alice said.

Emma gave her a blank look.

She then sighed.

“Can we get proper food here?”

Nazar stood up.

“I will cook. You will see my superior skills.”

“Har har har. Good one.”

Nazar sighed and left the room.

After a while, they ate food, then talked and then had dinner. And now, Nazar was lying down on his bed.

His new room has a double bed and it was big, like all other bedrooms in this new home. And his bedroom was on the third floor.

He was lying on the bed and he was staring up. It was way past midnight, but he was thinking. He was thinking about how he will find Lucifer and what will he do about him once he finds him.

As he was lying down, someone called him.

He picked up the phone and it was from Laura.

“- Hi, Nazar. -”

“Hi.”

“- And you finally decided to answer the phone. -”

“...Sorry.”

“- Can you teleport me there? -”

“Sure.”

Nazar waved his hand and Laura appeared in the room.

She looked around and looked confused.

“Where am I?” She said.

“My new home.”

“Interesting. And you did not tell me. I am a little disappointed.”

“Well, I was going to tell you.”

She sat on the bed.

“So, where do you live?”

“In accommodations.”

“What kind of place is it?”

She lied down on the bed and place her head on his stomach.

“Well, there is a 12-storey building and each floor has around 10 rooms. Each room has one bed and a bathroom. And then there is one kitchen on each floor.”

“I see.”

“So, where have you been?”

“I… uh… well, let me show you.”

He touched her forehead with his index finger and showed her what happened to Aarin.

“Oh my god… Is she okay?”

“Yeah, kind of. She is sleeping downstairs.”

“I see.”

Nazar sighed.

“How is a university?”

“Its soooo hard... and boring.”

“I am sure you could still do an easier subject.”

“I could but I want to do this.”

“Oh.”

“Anyway, are you free tomorrow?”

“Should be.”

“Well, I am always free on Fridays, so we should go somewhere?”

“Sure, why not. If I am free.”

She sat up and looked at him.

“What’s wrong?”

“You are not blushing every five seconds.”

“Ah.”

(Accessing Nazar 1.0.) Nazar thought.

Before he shows no expressions and had no emotions, but now he does.

“Ah, you look so much better.”

“I don’t see the difference.”

“Well, I do. It is kind of hard communicating when you don’t make any expressions.”

“...”

Laura yawned.

“I got to go now. So, can you teleport me out?”

“Okay.”

She sighed.

“I thought… I thought you would want to ask me to stay here with you. This is no fun...”

“....?”

“Oh well, see you tomorrow. At 4 in the afternoon.”

“I will try.”

They kissed before she was teleported out.

Nazar took a deep breath.

“4 in the afternoon? Oh, we--Hm?”

He first sensed a rift being opened.

Nazar then noticed something else, too.

“Lucifer? No, it is someone else.”

He has been following Lucifer’s energies across the universe, so when he felt a little similar one, he thought it was Lucifer.

“Where?”

He sat up and tried to trace the energies but he did not need to do that.

(Accessing Nazar 3.0.)

“Downstairs...”

Nazar immediately got up and flew downstairs.

As soon as he reached there, he opened the door to the room where Aarin was living in.

He opened it and saw someone he did not know there.

She was holding Aarin by her arm.

“This is the human? Pathetic, Aarin,” Anaiel said.

“Who are you? And what are you doing here?”

Nazar walked close to her and removed her hand from Aarin’s arm.

Anaiel smiled.

“I am Anaiel and I am here to take her back.”

“You can’t!”

Nazar’s sound was cold and emotionless.

“You know she is changing the laws of the universe when she is here, right?”

“Complete bullshit.”

Both Aarin and Anaiel were taken by surprise.

“I had Solace monitoring you and the universe and nothing is changed.”

“Whatever. She is coming with me.”

“You are not an angel, are you?”

“She is the angel of pride.”

“Hm? Then why is your energy signature similar to Lucifer?”

Anaiel’s eyes widened.

Nazar placed a barrier around the room. She could not teleport out now.

“Damn it,” Anaiel muttered.

She shot her black wings and a sword appeared in her hand.

She moved fast and stood behind Aarin.

Nazar could not react in time. And it is understandable since she is a high-class angel and a fallen angel.

She held her sword to Aarin’s neck.

“A-Anaiel…?” Aarin finally said something.

“Shut up, you useless angel.”

Anaiel then looked Nazar in the eyes.

She pressed the sword ever closer and small drops of blood started to pour down from Aarin’s neck.

“She is coming with me… or I kill her right here.”

Nazar gulped.

Unknown location - a few hours ago:

Lucifer was alone.

“Getting the power of all demons surely increased my powers.”

He was in a dark place.

“But what of this half-breed?”

He looked to his right and there was someone strapped to something that resembled a chair.

“Why is she so powerful?”

In that chair, a low-class angel was sitting.

“What makes her so unique?”

She was Alice’s mother.

She was supposed to be dead but Lucifer had resurrected her, using Azazel’s powers.

The angel did not reply.

“The artefact I used...”

Lucifer raised his eyebrows.

“There is the only one that exists and it is within her. It is not just a magical artefact, it is also a cosmic artefact. It is a combination of both. And if it is used once, it can never be used again.”

“So, I can go back in time and use it for myself, instead.”

The low-class angel laughed.

“That is not how it works.”

“Ahn?”

“The artefact can be used once. I have used it once and it can never be replicated and can never be used, even if you change time, it can never be used again.”

“And who created it?”

“Do you know about the 6th-dimensional plane of existence?”

“...?”

“The angels who have died, they are reborn as Gods. Someone I knew died and was reborn as a God. She did not want to live anymore, so she asked me to end her once and for all. I created a spell and placed her inside the artefact. I then placed that artefact within me and was able to transfer it within her.”

“What are you saying?”

“What am I saying, Lucifer? Well, I am saying one thing.”

Her face was ripped in half with a smile.

“She was half-angel and half-demon… but mostly she is a Goddess.”

Lucifer thought about something.

“And you will never be able to replicate it. Because she was one angel that was not created by the Supreme One. She was the daughter of Michael and another angel he raped.”

Lucifer’s eyes widened.

“When Supreme One was slaughtering angels to power him up, his daughter was killed too. But she came back as a Goddess. She did not go through the trial as any other angel did.”

“So, then you killed her and placed her within your daughter? Beside a spell that turned a low-class angel like you into a high-class angel?”

She nodded.

“And you do know something else too, right?”

“Hm?”

“Not even gets a chance to be reborn as a Goddess. So, even if you try it with anyone, it will not work.”

“Any weaknesses?”

“Not that I know.”

Lucifer clicked his tongue.

“Scared of her, Lucifer? You should be.”

She laughed.

Lucifer shot out his six wings and sliced her neck.

The low-class angel then vanished into thin air… No, she disintegrated into thin air.

“DAMN IT?!?!”

A wall appeared around him and he punched it.

“Why are these thing so complicated?”

He was breathing a little too heavily for a few seconds.

He stayed in that placed for a while until he calmed down.

After a while, Anaiel and the other fallen angels appeared.

“Found anything?”

They all shook their heads.

“Change of plans.”

“Hm? What is this time, Lucifer?” Azazel sounded disinterested.

“Anaiel go and take that angel to Heaven while we attack it.”

“Why?”

“Because that is the only way I can involve the human in it.”

Everyone looked confused.

“NOW, GO!!”

They all vanished into thin air.
