Arc 107 - Fallen Angel Uprising (Part 7)
Andromeda Galaxy:
Michael and a controlled Nazar were about to fight a weakened Lucifer, a powered up Aarin, Alice at her full power and the leader of the gods. However, in the last seconds, the Nameless One returned with his full power.
And now he is moving towards Michael at full speed.
The distance between them is less than 20 meters, yet the Nameless One is using his speed.
The Nameless One wanted to grab Michael and take him away from here. To take him away from this universe. He promised his creation he will do it in return for his full power.
However, his plan failed.
Michael just smiled at him and used the Nameless One’s speed to his advantage. The Nameless One wanted to take him away, but Michael moved aside a little and punched him in the stomach.
The impact was so powerful that it could have destroyed nearby planets. But Aarin had already replaced those planets when the solar system blew up.
The Nameless One was thrown away.
Michael waved his hand and the destroyed solar system was recreated once more.
A sun appeared. Then about 10 planets. The planets were as big as Earth.
So, the Nameless One was thrown towards the sun. However, as soon as he made contact with the sun, it blew up again.
And Michael laughed.
All of this happened in a fraction of a second.
“That was pathetic. I was actually thought you would pose a threat… but you are nothing. Disappointing.”
It took Aarin a few seconds to recover from the shock.
The Nameless One had fought against Lucifer and the God of Power but now Michael is beating the crap out of him like he is nothing.
Michael’s hand twitched and the sun reappeared again.
He pulled the sun towards himself with fair ease.
The Nameless One was on the sun.
And as it was coming closer and closer, Michael flew towards it and punched the Nameless One.
Once he punched the Nameless One, and he flew through the sun. Of course, it blew up again.
Aarin contained the damage in one place by placing a force field around the sun.
This time, Michael did not recreate the sun.
Michael then flew towards the Nameless One and punched him… or at least that was the plan.
The Nameless One blocked his punch with his palm and smiled.
“This is a nice upgrade, Michael, but you are being a little too flashy.”
Michael was a little surprised.
He punched Michael but he was not thrown away. The reason was simple, the Nameless One held Michael’s punch in his palm with his left hand and used his right hand to punch Michael in the stomach.
However, Michael felt that.
He did not let Michael slip and gain distance.
The Nameless One punched him in the chest. And then another punched to the face.
In his other palm, a sword appeared and it stabbed through Michael’s right hand.
And in his right hand, another sword appeared. He easily managed to stab Michael in the heart.
Michael then punched the Nameless One, despite having a blade in his chest.
They started punching and kicking one another at lightning speed.
While this was going on, Lucifer, Aarin, Alice and the leader of the gods could not keep up with their speed. They could not see what was going on. The two beings appeared like distant stars that appear here and there.
And Solace was nowhere to be seen. Where has she been? She turned into an N-Sphere and placed a barrier around them.
However, she has not been for a little while. She is still keeping the barrier around the solar system but she can do that without going somewhere else.
Alice looked at Aarin.
“Help Nazar.”
“No need for that.”
Mind Space:
Nazar was in the Mind Space and he was alone.
He wandered around for a little while. The concept of time is non-existent in this place. So, he has no idea how long he has been here.
He walked around the place. He found nothing.
This place is powered by the psychic energies of every being in existence. However, only a handful people know about it and even less knows how to access it.
So, he has no idea how to come here or how to get out of here.
He has no idea what this place even is.
He does not know the laws of this place.
He does not know anything.
But.
But he has to get out of here. He released a monster in the universe.
“Why do I get involved in this shit?”
Nazar looked around.
He charged up his hand and shot an energy beam in a random direction.
Of course, it had no effect.
He then charged up his other hand as well and started shooting with it.
“This is so useless… but I have never used it like this.”
And then he sensed something.
Something familiar.
The whole place around him smashed into pieces.
It smashed like a piece of glass.
And from there, he saw a silhouette. A silhouette he knew very well.
“This place is weird, right?”
And let out a sigh of relief.
Nazar smiled.
“How did you find this place, Solace?”
Solace walked closer towards him.
After a second or so, he could see her properly.
“Your consciousness was not inside your body, so I had to find it. I looked for it but could not find you. But when the Nameless One appeared, I could retrace its energies and find it.”
“So, where is this place?”
“Well… It is another dimension. It can only be accessed if you have access to psychic energies. And as I have the same powers as you, I can come here the same way a living being would come.”
“And how exactly is that?”
“Send a part of your consciousness - or in your case, all of your consciousness - to this place. You can send it by releasing a massive amount of psychic energies. And once it is released, the wasted energy comes here. So, you can send parts of your consciousness here… I think. I am not quite sure. This is what I did but it might be different for you.”
“...?”
“You should ask Aarin or Alice.”
“I see. Well, thanks.”
They both flew out… or rather their consciousness left this place.
“It is hard to get out of here. So, follow me.”
Nazar did as Solace said.
As they were flying in this purple void, a white light appeared… and then another white light after a second.
“These are portals to your body.”
Solace looked at it closely and analysed both of them.
“You take the left - which appeared later - and I will take the right one,” Solace said.
Nazar nodded.
They both flew through the while light, which is essentially a portal to their bodies.
Nazar flew through it and after a second or so, the white light around him vanished. He was now inside his own body.
Now, he was in his own body. And he was in control once more.

He flew closer to where Aarin and Alice… and Lucifer was.
He stood before Alice.
“Did you know?”
“Know what?”
“About the people who raised us?”
Alice hesitated to answer.
“Yes...”
Nazar then turned around and started to look at the battle between Michael and the Nameless One.
(Accessing Nazar 3.0.)
When he took on his Angel Slayer form (9.0), his consciousness was sent to the Mind Space. Michael then ‘controlled’ his body. So, all this time he was in that form.
He stared at them. And so did the others.
An hour passed and they could not even keep up with Michael and the Nameless One’s speed. They were just too fast.
Aarin could see them once in a while, but that when they were slowed down. Alice went back to her other form. She just wasted so much energy being in her energy form.
She then started working on freeing Lucifer's mind. It took some time, but she managed to 'free’ Lucifer. And the Supreme One is gone forever.
And this one hour, Alice told Aarin about what happened. About how she brought Emma to Britain and how she was given parents. And they were working for the government.
She also said how Nazar was brought here as well so they can keep an eye on him.
“Nazar?” Alice said.
“Hm?”
“Are you mad that I did not tell you?”
Nazar turned around.
“I can’t feel emotions in this form.”
Alice looked confused.
“And why would I be? You risked everything to save us.”
Nazar smiled. It was a forced and emotionless smile. It had no meaning behind it.
He turned around again.
And after a few minutes, the fight between the Nameless One and Michael stopped. Michael was victorious.
It was not an easy victory. Michael and the Nameless One slammed each other on different planets and used everything at their arsenal. They used energy attacks, physical attacks, anti-matter and dark matter attacks. Everything they could. And yet, the Archangel stood victorious.
He threw the nearly lifeless body of the Nameless One towards Nazar.
Nazar caught him.
“Well… he should be weak enough now,” the Nameless One. He did not struggle to speak, despite how beaten up he was.
“We had an agreement. Once this is over, you die,” Nazar said.
The Nameless One nodded.
“I know. But do something for me, will you?”
“Hm?”
“Defeat him for me, my creation.”
Nazar placed his hand on his head and the being known as the Nameless One disappeared into nothingness.
It is ironic, isn’t it? Powerful beings killed by their own creations.
Nazar then looked Michael.
“Solace?”
“I have figured it out,” she replied immediately.
Nazar turned around and held out his palm towards Alice.
“Restore!”
As soon as he said that, Alice’s energies returned to her.
He then held out his palm towards Lucifer.
“Tch. I hate this but...”
Lucifer was confused.
“Restore!”
Nazar restored all of Lucifer’s energies. He was back to his old power.
What he did was simple. He used absolute restoration. A power that allows him to restore anything to its prime. So, he restored Lucifer’s power. He was as powerful as he was when he was fighting against the Nameless One.
“What?” Michael was confused.
But the others felt their true power.
And now, the clash between an Archangel, a fallen angel, the leader of the gods, an angel and a half-demon and half-angel. And the human? He just watched and analysed.
The powerful beings moved at an imaginable speed.
Lucifer at his full power. Aarin with the power of all angel, including the original power of Michael. Alice in her true form. And a Goddess. Surely Michael will not stand a chance… right?
Michael easily dodged all attacks from his opponents.
They are not using energy based attacks because it is useless here. Michael has been able to use their energies against them. He was able to manipulate it easily. So, they focused on physical attacks.
Using energies created from manipulating matter and more. And besides that, they would occasionally place a spell on the sword or something. And it would do a little damage but it was still useless.
So, focusing on mainly physical attacks was the better option.
During the fight, Michael radiated and blew up. However, the barrier held them in one place. It was about to break once but Nazar kept it together.
After a few minutes, they slowed down a little.
Michael was significantly weakened in his fight against the Supreme One. Then he was weakened in his fight against the Nameless One. And now he was facing four people - when combined - can be more powerful than the Nameless One… and maybe even the Supreme One, considering he was not all that omnipotent.
They slowed down and Michael was beaten to a pulp. All four of them floated around him.
In Nazar’s hand, a dagger made of black energies appeared.
He threw it. It phased through Aarin, and it stabbed Michael.
As soon as it did, Michael coughed blood.
He looked straight at Nazar and Nazar smiled.
“What… was that?” Michael said.
“A soul dagger. It penetrates your very soul and it removes your immortality. However, it needs a special requirement… such as being weaker than a low-class angel.”
Nazar’s words stabbed into Michael’s chest.
“Ah?”
Nazar flew close to him.
He got closer to him.
“I have to thank you for something, Michael.”
Nazar stabbed his hands inside Michael.
“Wh-what are you doing, Nazar?” Aarin asked.
He looked back.
“What do you think I am doing?” He replied with a rather cold tone.
“You can’t kill him. He is evil but he is an angel. A fundamental part of this existence. You should not kill him--”
“He can,” Lucifer said. “He is no longer an angel. He is just an Archangel. He is not that important for the very existence.”
“Yeah, listen to Lucifer, the angel of life,” the leader of the gods said. “We need to kill him.”
“I don’t need your permission,” Nazar said.
Michael slowly laughed.
“Human… you really are interesting.”
“Thank you for letting me know about that thing. If it was not for you...” Nazar said as he looked at Alice, “...certain someone might have never told me about it. Not that I blame them.”
“Well… then you're welcome.”
Michael forced a laugh.
“You know I cannot die, right?”
“Hm?” Nazar tilted his head to the right a little.
“You have blocked my immortality… but I also have reincarnation ability. Unlike you, it might take me some time… but I will be back one day.”
Michael winked.
Nazar moved his hands inside him a little and ripped Michael in half.
Archangel Michael was no more.
Archangel Michael who wanted to be the God Michael is dead now.
Nazar then picked up the energy orbs, which came out of his body.
The orbs broke apart and the dragon known as Ikeiss, the Eternal and a few other creatures and the Omega People came out of the orbs. As soon as they came out, the other creatures and the Omega People vanished into thin air. But the dragon stayed behind.
The creatures of the Void did not come out because they were gone forever.
The dragon looked at Lucifer.
“LUCIFER, I SHALL KILL YOU NOW.”
“Don’t,” Nazar said.
The dragon looked at him in confusion.
“AND WHO ARE Y-- OH, THE NAMELESS ONE, I SEE.”
“No, not the Nameless One. I killed him.”
The dragon seemed surprised for a second.
“YOU KILLED HIM?”
“Oh yes.”
“He did it.”
When Nazar returned the Nameless One’s power, he also ‘rigged’ him. He placed an energy bomb inside of him. Once Nazar wanted it, he just blew it up and then he disappeared into thin air.
“I HOPE WE MEET AGAIN… HUMAN?”
“Yes, I am a human.”
The dragon then looked at Lucifer.
“I SHALL LEAVE YOU FOR NOW. BUT EXPECT ME SOON ENOUGH.”
The dragon vanished into thin air.
Nazar waved his hand and returned Lucifer to his old power. He was as weak as when he first came to this universe less than two hours ago.
Alice had wasted all of her energies as well.
“Get out of this universe, Lucifer,” Nazar said. “And take your fallen angels with you.”
Lucifer nodded.
“Where will you go?” Aarin asked him.
Lucifer thought about it.
“Come to heaven with me,” Aarin said. “That is where the angels lived.”
They all vanished into thin air. Then the leader of the gods left as well.
And Reaper finally appeared.
“Hm? Where is-- Um... What happened?”
“He is dead. Michael is dead.”
Reaper’s eyes widened with shock.
“And sorry about earlier.”
“No, it's okay. You were being controlled.”
Reaper looked around.
During the fight between Michael and the Nameless One, he had recreated plans after planets and destroyed them.
So, now, Reaper was looking at the ruins of the planets before him.
“Damn.”
Nazar then looked at Alice.
(Accessing Nazar 1.0.)
“Look, Nazar… I am sorry.”
“It’s okay. As I said earlier, you lost everything by saving us.”
Reaper saw that and teleported out.
“But from your expressions, it does not seem like that.”
“I am not mad at you or anything… I am just disappointed in myself.”
“Ah?”
“I should have noticed. We have lived for so long. It… it was just too good to be true.”
Nazar chuckled.
“I mean, who on Earth raises a kid like me and tolerates him. It was too unbelievable. And more than that, they just forgave me for… for so much shit. And did not even bat an eye for anything I did. I mean, who the fuck does that?”
“...”
“I was naive to think… to think it was true.”
“Nazar...”
“How am I going to tell Emma?”
Nazar held his head in his right hand.
“When things finally got better… I… I...”
Alice hugged him.
“I am sorry.”
Nazar threw her away.
“STOP APOLOGISING! I SAID IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT! WHY DON’T YOU GET IT?”
Alice was not very hurt.
“PLEASE STOP APOLOGISING!”
She flew closer to him again.
“Please stop apologising…”
“I won’t.”
Nazar and Alice stayed there for a few minutes. They did not talk or anything like that.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes. I… I just don’t know how to break to Emma. But she has to know… right?”
“Yes, she has to know. But maybe not know. Just wait for a little while. A few days, perhaps.”
Nazar nodded.
They stayed there for a few minutes or so.
“Don’t think too much about it for now.”
“Hm?”
“You have a date with your girlfriend. You should go to Earth and have fun with her.”
Nazar looked at her in surprise.
“How do you know about that?”
“Well, I heard you two speaking.”
“But I thought my room was soundproofed…Solace?”
“Yes, Nazar?”
“You can remove the barrier now.”
“Okay. Done, Nazar.”
Solace then floated next to Nazar.
“And why was my room not soundproofed last night?”
“It was,” Solace said.
He then looked at Alice.
“Because you have been living with people who did not have powers, your soundproofing tech can only block it for them. Not for me or even Aarin.”
“Ah?”
Nazar looked at Solace.
“Make sure to calibrate that.”
“Okay, Nazar.”
Nazar took a deep breath.
“And...”
“Yes, Alice?”
“And make sure to keep her happy today. Maybe she is your girlfriend and she knows what you do… but keep this a secret from her. At least for today. She deserves some happiness.”
“I see...”
“Well, I will be going now.”
“Where?”
“Hell. To see what’s up in hell and then to heaven.”
“Ah. Well, see you.”
She smiled and vanished into thin air.
“Why did I even get myself involved in this shit?” Nazar muttered. “Why do I make enemies of stronger people for no reasons?”
He sighed.
He then stared at the destroyed planets.
Nazar stayed there for a few minutes and then vanished into thin air as well.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.
