《New Life》Chapter 158 - God’s Plan (Part 5)

Tuesday, 22nd of October 2019 - UAE:
There was another summit.
They were all sitting around a massive round table.
This time, all the representatives were here.
But the ruler of each country was also present.
But they were not present in person.
They were present via holograms.
The small holograms were placed before each representative.
Holographic technology is pretty common in the world government but its something that the public does not know anything about it.
Even if they knew, it would not make a lot of difference but they still kept it a secret.
They think some criminals might take advantage of it.
“” One of them asked.
“”
They were different from yesterday.
They were not as tense.
They seem relaxed.
“We need to talk about the elephant in the room...”
“And what is this ‘elephant’ you talk about, Mr Smith?”
“Nazar.”
When he said his name, everyone tensed up.
The earlier laughter and happiness vanished.
“We need to talk about what he can do. And what he should do.”
“I wouldn’t bother myself with him,” the representative of UK said.
She stood up.
“The people who raised them were working for us. They died recently because Nazar found out.”
Everyone’s eyes widened.
“Wh-what?”
“He has not made any moves. Honestly, it does not seem like it. But that’s not the point. We have other data. Something interesting.”
Everyone exchanged glances.
“Something that will answer questions we have had for centuries.”
They were confused about what she was talking about.
She picked up a tablet.
Tapped a few times and on the holograms in front of them, some photos and some documents appeared.
“Behold the data about the multiverse and more… What we know about it anyway. It’s not much but its better than nothing.”
“What?”
“Demons, angels?”
“Gods?”
“Other dimensions?”
“Other universes?”
“And...”
Most of the gulped.
“A-and people, who can destroy the multiverse?”
“Yes,” she said with a smile on her face. “Nazar has gone to other universes. Fought against gods and angels. And fought against devils. So, if you really think you can contain him, you need to think again. We have given up on him. And so should you.”
Nazar trusted his parents so he told them a lot about what happened.
They knew about gods and demons and angels.
And even though Nazar did not tell them everything, Emma told them some stuff.
Because they both trusted them.
“Most of us know what he can do. And how powerful he is. So, you better just keep that thought to yourself. If you - even for a second - think that you can spy on him or get him or work for you… or… uh… control him, then you have thought wrong. So, leave it at that and pretend you have a god watching you from above.”
Everyone was looking at her.
No one said anything.
“But if you meddle with him, then it can only mean one thing...”

They all gulped.
“The death of all of us.”
The voice did not belong to her.
It belonged to Ishaya Bradley.
He was also present in the room.
He is the richest person on the planet and he has helped with the recovery of the world. So, he has a say in this world related problems.
And not just that, he also has close ties to the US government.
Ever since the Godslayers became a thing, his connection to the US government and other world governments deepened.
So, now he was on the same line but no one knew about it.
And once they head his voice, his picture also appeared in this massive room.
“He will kill us all.”
“Really?”
“Yes, the alien told me.”
“Alien? How?”
“You see, one day I sent a transmission and someone answered it. He was a mercenary. I want him to kill Nazar but he declined. However, he did save me when Nazar was about to kill me. And he also told me something else.”
“And what was that?”
“If he does want to… he can destroy everything. And I mean the universe, multiverse, etc. Everything.”
Those words were too much for them.
“So, you better get on his good side.”
His picture then vanished.
He left the line.
The chatter between the representatives and others increased.
After an hour or so, they finally came to a conclusion.
“He needs to answer - not to us - but to the public.”
“Yes, he needs to let them know where he stands.”
“And answers their questions.”
They all nodded among themselves.
“He needs to let them know if he is a friend or foe. He needs to give them a concrete answer.”
The British representative snorted.
“Do you really think he would do that?”
Everyone looked at her.
“We have been monitoring him for over a decade. He is the most anti-social person we have ever had under our watch. Or maybe ever. Who knows?”
“Then why did you not tell the world?”
She looked at the representative of the US.
“We were being ruled by a demon. Let that sink in. And only a few people knew about him. I only found out recently too.”
“And why are you giving us all this information - information about the multiverse and such? You could have kept it yourself. Why share it?”
She thought about it.
She thought about the question.
“Because we are still recovering. To the public, it seems like everything is fine but it's not. We are still recovering from what the demon did to us. And it's going to take a very, very long time. So, we need to be more unified now more than ever. We need to do everything together. This is for the sake of the planet itself. It’s for the people. It’s for our science. We don’t have to be pathetic primitive people forever.”
They all thought to themselves.

Was there a price for this information? And if it was, what was the price?
“And no, there is no price for anything we are giving you.”
She knew what they were thinking.
So, she answered their questions.
“We want the world to be better. And this will help us improve our relationships and also our science. Knowing that there are other universe and dimensions, it can make our search easier. And since some of you guys have already found a way to other dimensions and found ways to extract energies from it… We would like you to share it with the rest of the world.”
“Huh?”
“Found a way to another dimension?”
“Who?”
“Is that even possible?”
“Isn’t that right?” She said as she looked at the Japanse representative.
He did not react for a while.
But once the others noticed where she was looking, they all looked at him.
So, he had no choice.
He stood up.
“”
There was no point in hiding it anymore, so he told them.
Another reason was that because his superior told him via the communication device in his ear.
“Well, Nazar noticed it a while ago. He was concerned about it. And when his parents asked about it, he told them. And we know about it since then.”
They were talking in different languages, but they understood one another.
It was because they were using devices that translated it into the language of their choice.
There was silence for a while.
Then the chatter increased once more.
And then the summit was over after a little while.
London:
Nazar was at his home.
He was sitting in the living room.
His eyes were closed.
“What are you doing?”
He heard Emma’s voice and opened his eyes.
Once he opened his eyes, he saw her sitting opposite him.
“Not really sure… I was looking for someone… Or maybe something? I felt a weird presence yesterday.”
“Oh.”
Nazar was about to say something but she asked another question.
“Where is Laura? How is she anyway?”
“Oh, she is in her accommodations. She--”
“She felt… off yesterday?”
“Well, something happened...”
“Hm?”
“You guys broke up?”
“No?”
“Knew it was going to happen soon anyway,” she said in a very low voice.
Nazar was confused
“So, what was the last thing she said?”
Nazar looked down.
“She said that I should give her a little space…”
Emma snorted.
Once he heard that, he looked at her.
But then he noticed something.
She is different.
She was not the same one he knew a few months ago.
Her body just looked so lifeless.
“Hey, are you okay?”
“Yeah, why?”
“It’s just… you don’t look well.”
“No, I am perfectly fine.”
Every her replied seemed different.
There was no sign of any emotions in it.
“If you want to talk to someone, I am he--”
She laughed.
“Seriously? Is that what you are telling me? Now?”
Nazar did not know why she snapped all of a sudden.
“Are you fucking kidding me?”
“...........?”
“Where were you for the last week?”
“Well, it was...”
Nazar trailed off.
He had no idea what he wanted to say.
“You go missing for a long time and then come back as nothing has happened. Maybe you are fine with it but not the rest of us. You pretend you are the oy one that matters…. But guess what? YOU. DON'T. MATTER.”
Her cold words sent chills down his whole body.
“You think you are the only that matters. You think everything surrounds around you. You think you are the only person in the whole world who exists. You think your life is more important… or… or better than everyone else. We all kept sticking around you… We forgave you for whatever the fuck you did. We-We helped you. We loved you. And this is what we are? This is what we have come to now, haven’t we?”
Nazar was not sure what she was saying.
“You kept throwing us away and all we did as fucking idiots was forgive you and accept you. Big mistake on our side. You pretend to care about us? Don’t give me that shit, you bastard!”
She took a deep breath.
“We were fucking pathetic. We believed in you and loved but in return… you gave us nothing but misery. We have been living in one fucking house for over a decade and what have you done for us? Nothing. Aeron has been a better brother in the last two weeks than you have ever been in your whole pathetic life.”
She got up.
“And even what you did to Laura… She stayed close to you. She did not want to leave you despite the kind of shit person you are.”
She walked closer and placed her hands on his face very fast.
It looked like two slaps at once.
It was probably the most deafening voice Nazar had ever heard.
She was glaring at him.
“You are the worst person ever,” Emma said in cold voice.
That cold voice stabbed into his very being.
Added with that death glare, Nazar’s breathing became erratic.
He was not scared for himself.
Why would he be? He was the strongest.
But he was scared for her.
He was scared for her emotional well being...maybe.
She let go of Nazar.
“You selfish bastard… You should have stayed away.”
She left the room.
Nazar was confused.
He knew he did wrong but he did not know how to fix it.
So, he did what he usually does at times likes this.
He did what no other sensible person would do.
He did what no other person would do.
Yes, that’s right.
He teleported out of the room.
And not to be seen for a while. Again.

It became something that just wasn't fun to me anymore. So here I'm going to try and just have fun writing a story I would have loved to read. If you want to read what I write then be my guest. I love to critique and hope that I can get better through writing this story but I don't know if I will be able to keep a stable upload schedule until I get into the flow of things again.
