Wednesday, 23rd of October 2019:

“I don’t understand humans.”

Nazar was laying down and was staring at the dead space.

“You are a human too.”

Solace was sitting down next to him.

She had a barrier around her.

“Yes, I am… But I am not as complicated as them.”

“Hm?”

Nazar sighed.

“Emotions are complicated. I don’t understand them.”

“I thought you used your powers to understand them?”

“Yes… But then I removed that knowledge. I wanted to feel it and understand it myself… Does that even make sense?”

“Kind of...”

Nazar kept staring at the dead space.

There was nothing there but he kept on staring.

Solace was also wondering what he was doing here.

She was about to ask but Nazar said something.

“Why is life so complicated?”

“...”

Solace kept on staring at him.

“What is it?”

“You… You don’t have emotions?”

“Oh, yes. I traded it.”

“Huh?”

“I traded my emotions for knowledge.”

“....”

“How hard is this to understand?”

“How? And why? And when?”

Nazar sighed.

“When I was away… Well, I traded it with Arosus. I needed information, so he asked me that I trade my emotions for it.”

“Why did he ask for your emotions?”

“I don’t know… He asked me to trade something that is integral to my being. I thought about what I shall give him, so he asked for my emotions. And took it.”

“So, what did you learn?”

“He gave me useless information.”

“Hmm?”

“He told me how mine and Laura’s emotions were being manipulated by the Nameless One. He also put Laura in front of me. If I am correct, he might have wanted to see how powerful my child would be? But whatever...”

Nazar paused before continuing.

“After learning that, I had to create hundreds and hundreds of clones to go around time and space and confirm it for myself. It took me a while to confirm it. Once I did, I thought through it. And after a little while, you came and found me.”

“And then you told Laura about it and she asked for a little space?”

Nazar nodded.

“Do you want to know something funny?”

“What is it?”

“When she asked me for space, I thought about teleporting her into space.”

“................................................................................”

Solace tried to understand what he was saying and what he meant.

“What?”

“I know… It’s not funny.”

“So, what are you going to do about your emotions?”

“Did you forget?”

“Forget what?”

“I know an angel. And she owes me… I think?”

Nazar closed his eyes.

And after a second, a bright white light appeared in front of them.

And Aarin appeared from that bright white light.

“Sigh. What do you--Wha the hell are you doing here?!?!”

“Hi to you too, Aarin.”

Aarin looked around herself.

“Care to explain why the hell are you laying down on the surface of the sun?”

“Well, it was kind of cold on Earth, so I had to come here and think in a warm place.”

“What the fuck?”

“Just kiddi--”

He trailed off because he was surprised by what she said.

“Dude, what the fuck?”

“...?”

“You are an angel, right?”

Aarin nodded.

“Then why are you swearing?”

“Because you are annoying.”

“Oh, I see. You want to be a fallen angel too. So, you can be closer with Lucifer.”

“What the… No!”

She sighed again.

She sat next to Nazar.

She sat at the other side of the Nazar.

Nazar did not move. He was still lying down and staring at the space.

“So, what do you want?”

“Can you give me my emotions back?”

“No.”

“Why?”

“I already gave it to you once. Not going to do it again.”

“You owe me.”

“No, I don’t.”

“Let’s see… if it wasn’t for me, you would have never won against that demon. If not for me, you would have never gotten back your powers. If not for me, you would have not met Lucifer again. If not for me, you would have not kissed him.”

“And if it was not for you, I would have not had sex with him.”

“Yeah-- Wait, what?”

Aarin smiled.

“Want to know how I made him do it?”

“NO!”

“You will listen to me and I will return your emotions. Deal?”

Nazar thought about it.

“Fine, you witch.”

Yesterday - Heaven:

Lucifer was sitting on a table in the Eternal Library.

He was a book.

Aarin entered the library.

“What are you doing?”

“Trying to prove something.”

“Hm?”

“There is something wrong.”

“Huh?”

“You see, something feels off.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, I had omnipresence so I was everywhere at once. But I turned it off a few thousand years ago. But even then, I remembered what I saw. The timeline I remember, things were supposed to be different. So, I am trying to compare my memories with these books.”

“Oh...”

She looked around.

“How long have you been here?”

“A week or so.”

“Oh.”

She went closer to him.

“Want to do something?”

Lucifer was confused.

“Let’s have sex.”

“..................................................”

Lucifer just stared at her blankly.

“Why?”

“Well, I want to see why humans like it so much. It’s for an experiment.”

“You can ask someone else, can’t you?”

“Yes, I can… but you owe me. So, the least you can for me is this.”

“I will think about it.”

Aarin glared at him.

“You will do it! It was not a request.”

“!!”

“You owe me. So, you can’t say no. And you are using my library. I am the angel and Heaven belongs to me. So, you get what I am saying.”

Lucifer nodded.

He did not have to do what she asked him.

But where will the fallen angels go if Aarin does not want them here?

He could kill her, but what would happen if she dies?

She holds a lot of power. So, what would happen to that power? And where would the fallen angels live?

Yes, creating a dimension for them is easy, but would it hold them? And it will also be a waste of unnecessary power.

So, he made a decision.

“Okay.”

Now:

“You just blackmailed him?!”

“No!”

“I wish they had burned you in the 5th century.”

“Rude!”

“You manipulated poor Lucifer. I feel sorry for him. You are a demon inside, aren’t you?”

Aarin giggled.

“It was nice.”

“I don’t want to know.”

“Are you sure?”

Nazar nodded.

“Poor Lucifer.”

“Well, it was just for an experiment.”

“I feel sorry for him.”

Aarin gave him a blank look.

Nazar let out another sigh.

“So, can you return my emotions?”

“Yes, of course.”

Immediately after, Nazar felt different.

“Done!”

“Thanks. How do you do it?”

“A magician never reveals her secret.”

“Tch. You are annoying.”

“So, how did you lose your emotions?”

“I traded it for information.”

“Hm?”

“I am going to tell you something. You deserve to know. And maybe even tell Lucifer. It’s important. And please don’t freak out.”

“Okay?”

Nazar told her what Arosus told him. He also told her how he confirmed it himself. Nazar told her about the meteor as well. And about how he traded his emotions for information.

Aarin was shocked.

But she recovered from it rather quickly.

There was a little silence.

So, instead of talking about what happened to the universe, she talked about something else.

She knew they had a similar conversation before, but she wanted to have this conversation with him again.

“You know… life will just get harder for you from here on now. Since you are immortal… it is going to be even harder than normal humans. The loss of loved ones will become a common thing. Things will get harder and harder… But that’s the point of life. It is to overcome those hard times.”

Nazar was confused as to why she was saying that.

Aarin had already told him this once before.

“So, don’t waste the time you have with them. Fix your problems… and repair your relationships with them and move on. Their life is too short for things like this.”

“...”

“Is there nothing you could have fixed with Emily?”

Nazar wanted to fix a lot of things with his friend but never got the chance.

“And now she is gone. You will never fix those things. So, make sure you fix your problems with Emma and Laura before it is too late for them. Their lives are short, so make the best of it.”

“Okay...”

“One second.”

“Hm?”

Aarin did something.

She looked at Nazar and then looked at Earth from the sun.

After a minute she smiled.

“Yes, your emotions might have been manipulated at the start… but it has developed into actual feelings for one another. And no, it's not going to get solved by itself. You need to solve it yourself. Let her think through this and then talk to her. That’s how life goes. You don’t wait for problems to solve themselves, you solve them yourself.”

“Thanks for the pep talk.”

“You’re welcome, bitch.”

“What happened to you?”

“Nothing.”

“Stop swearing. It feels weird coming from an angel.”

“Well, there is no God anymore. So...”

“I am right here.”

“You are a little bitch. You are no God.”

“Damn. Why are you so rude to me?”

“I am joking with you.”

Nazar sighed.

There was silence once more.

So, Aarin went back to her earlier point.

“Mortals are hard to understand. They are… complicated to beings like us. So, you should really find someone, who is human and have lived for a while. Ask them for advice. And it should help you.”

“Like I can find someone like that.”

“Yes, you can.”

“Hm?”

While they were talking, Solace did not say anything.

She just listened.

She recorded their conversation so she can remind Nazar later.

“Who did you ask for advice? I mean when you were young?”

“I never asked anyone.”

“Don’t lie to me. Yes, you did ask for advice.”

“Well, I asked Emily and she asked her mother, I think.”

“Well, just go to her. It’s not like she will not help you. She is a nice lady.”

“Yes, she is a nice lady. That’s why I don’t want to bother her.”

“Oh? Never thought I would hear that from you.”

“...”

“Anyway, just go to her and ask. I am sure she will help you. If she doesn’t… well, I will find someone else for you. Maybe Lucifer...”

“Oh my God, stop talking about him. As soon as you do, you start to drool, you pervert angel.”

“Okay, fine.”

She looked at Solace, who staring at them.

“Hmm?”

“What is it, Aarin?” Solace said.

“Stand up. Please?”

She stood up.

She was confused but still stood up.

“Turn around.”

Solace, still confused, turned around.

“You can sit now.”

She then looked at Nazar.

“Why does she have big boobs? And a big ass?”

“Well…because reasons.”

“Tell me!”

“Why, are you jealous? Just because you have small boo--”

“DON’T SAY IT!!”

“Okay?”

“But why that big?”

“I don’t know.”

She sighed.

Aarin stood up.

“Just think about what I said, okay?”

Nazar nodded.

“Actually… Just go to her now. Yes, she does not owe you anything but I am sure she will help you. She is a nice woman.”

“Okay.”

Aarin smiled.

She then teleported out.

Nazar sighed.

“Do you want to go now?”

Nazar sat up.

“I don’t want to bother her now. She is probably at work. And she will be tired once she gets home. So, I will go later.”

“It’s 9 PM on Earth.”

“What the…? You are telling me I have been here for more than 24 hours?”

“It has been over 30 hours.”

“!!”

Nazar stood up.

“Damn it!”

They both teleported out.
