Chapter 166 - Battle for Planet Earth (Part 1)

Thursday 24th of October 2019 - Earth:

It was around 7 in the morning. Nazar was sleeping in his room. He came pretty late last night and went to sleep straight away.

All of a sudden, he felt an enormous amount of magical energies. And he knew who it was.

He opened his eyes and phased through the bed and the floor.

In less than a second, he appeared in the living room.

There was a man standing there.

“Lucifer?”

Lucifer turned around and looked at Nazar.

“What are you doi--”

“What she said… Is it true?”

Nazar straightened his body and his expressions.

“Yes.”

Nazar’s casual reply made Lucifer a little surprised.

“How did it happen?”

Nazar sighed and told him what happened and how he found out.

He does not have to but it would not do him any good if he keeps it from the first angel.

They were sitting opposite one another now.

“Anything else?”

“He won’t tell me anything extra. So, maybe try your luck? He might tell you.”

“So...”

Lucifer was not sure what he wanted to say.

So, he sighed.

“So, what are you going to do?”

“Nothing?”

“...”

“What do you expect me to do?”

“Not really sure...”

“So, you did not believe Aarin?”

“No. I have a hard time believing people.”

“Then why did you believe me?”

“Because I don’t think you would lie about something like that.”

“And why is that?”

“Because you did not want to be a god. And you promised your sister not too long ago.”

Nazar was not surprised he knew that.

“It’s true, I don’t want to play god… but are you not scared that I hold this much power?”

Lucifer shook his head.

“Because I know you won’t use it.”

“Oh… Ah!”

Nazar remembered something he wanted to ask Lucifer for a long time.

“Can I ask you a question?”

“Hmm? Yes, go ahead.”

“Why do you powerful people want more power?”

“...”

Lucifer thought about the answer.

“You guys can destroy the whole multiverse or some of you even more… So, why do you want more power than that? I just want to know. Even at this level, I hate it. I hate having this much power. I can do anything. So, I don’t get why you people want more power than you already have? What more do you need to do?”

“...”

Lucifer kept on thinking about his answer.

Why did he want to be stronger?

“I… The thing is, the more power you have, the more control over the universe you have. Being stronger for means I can keep all of the existence safe. If I don’t, everything will die.”

“Oh… But aren’t you the strongest person? Like in the whole of existence? So, why do you need to get stronger than you are?”

“I am when I am at my full power. But right now, I am weak. And I cannot save everything.”

“But with all the angels--”

“I have the power of all fallen angels and also Aarin - who has the power of all the angels. Which means that my powers have doubled. And also of some demons. But even then, I am not at a level which will allow me to go up against the beings you released when Michael you killed Michael.”

“Huh?”

“I have to explain everything, don’t I?”

Lucifer sighed.

“Do you remember the dragon?”

Nazar nodded.

“Just like him, there have been many other powerful people who are not as powerful as the Nameless One in his full power, but they are very powerful. Right now, they are weak but if they get at full power… at my current level, I won’t be much for them.”

“But you did well against the Nameless One, remember?”

“Ah, that.”

Lucifer forced a smile on his face.

“Yes, I did that because of you. And also because he was barely at his full power. Yes, he was very powerful but he is extremely powerful.”

Lucifer paused for a second.

“Our first fight… It was much harder than that. It took me days and days to ‘defeat’ him. I was at my strongest ever. And even then I had trouble against him. And he was weakened at that point too. He had wasted a lot of energies trying to create his own universe but couldn’t.”

“So, how exactly did you defeat him?”

“When I was fighting, my energies were constantly restored by my...father. And I defeated him with the help of some artefacts my father created. I don’t know where they are but it helped.”

“Damn...”

“Those people were hard to take down but the angels did it. But now they are back. So, I am not sure what they will do.”

“Oh...”

“And to answer your earlier question, they want to be stronger so they can destroy everything they can. I don’t know why they want to do it but they just want to. Some of them just do it because they find it fun.”

“Interesting.”

“Anything else you want to know?”

“No, not really. Can’t think of anything else at the moment.”

Lucifer stood up.

“Well, I will go and see ‘Arosus’ and see if I can learn anything.”

“Okay.”

Lucifer was about to teleport but he paused and looked back.

“If you come face to face with any of them, ask for my help. Trust me, they have a thing against the Nameless One and you look like him.”

Nazar was not sure how to reply to him.

“Also, don’t go playing god. You might be one, but remember your promise to your sister.”

“...”

Lucifer vanished into thin air.

Nazar closed his eyes and thought it through.

“When will they get to full power…?” He muttered. “I guess I should do something about them before it's too late...”

He sighed.

A few minutes later, he felt another presence.

And so he sighed again.

“What do you want Orosus and Yam?”

“We are here to talk,” Orosus said.

“Hm?”

She looked as angry as usual.

“We know we are extremely powerful… but not all of us are powerful. Does that make sense?”

Nazar nodded.

“So, you have to protect us, no matter. Because if you don’t protect us, human, the universe will be in ruins... Is what I wanted to say. But...”

“Hm?”

“Please protect us. ”

“Okay.”

Nazar sounded disinterested.

“You rule over an empire now too. So, your responsibility is just getting bigger and bigger.”

“Ugh. Don’t remind me.”

“So, will you do it, Nazar?”

“Yes… Anything else?”

They both exchanged glances.

Orosus looked like she wanted to leave but Yam protested against it.

“What is it? If you have something to say, then say it.”

“Look… I am sorry about the other day,” she said very, very slowly.

Nazar smiled.

“Don’t worry about it. It’s my fault for what happened to all of you.”

“Yes, it is… but even then, I acted out of character.”

“Hm?”

Nazar wondered what kind of person she is usually.

“You see, she is usually a very nice person… but that day she acted like a total… uh...”

“Bitch. You can say it, Yam,” she said as she looked at Yam.

She then looked at Nazar and smiled.

“So, I apologise.”

“You don’t have to. It’s my fault this is happening to all of you.”

“...”

“So, don’t worry about it. And no, you were not acting like a bitch. I probably would have acted even worse.”

“Oh… But remember some of us cannot protect ourselves, so you need to do it for us. And sometimes even the strongest of us need protection.”

“Okay.”

She and Yam left.

Nazar was alone again.

“Sigh. I can’t go to sleep now.”

He stood up and took off his shirt and sports top.

He always wears a black long sleeve sports top under his shirt.

His black jeans were turned into black sports pants.

“Solace.”

As soon as he said her name, she appeared out of thin air.

“What is it, Nazar?”

She is always around but just invisible.

“I want you to test my abilities in my ‘human’ form. I want to see how strong, durable, fast and how good is my healing factor.”

“Okay.”

“Place a barrier around us and block all sounds.”

“Done.”

“Oh, and don’t hold back. Just don’t kill me, but don’t hold back. Does that makes sense?”

She nodded.

“Let’s do this.”

Nazar still had his powers on.

So, he waved his hand and the wall between the living room and dining room vanished.

It was a massive room now.

He turned off his powers.

“Let’s start. Now.”

Nazar shot himself towards her.

But he was just powerless against an AI that is nearly as strong as Nazar.

So, she used her speed and dodged his attack.

“Speed at the start 100 miles per hour. But that is not your limit.”

She paused for a second.

“Try catching up to me. I will be slowly increasing my speed. If you don’t catch me up in 5 minutes, and your fastest record will be considered your limit.”

“Got it!”

She started to move at 100 miles per hour inside this small room.

But that was not the problem.

Solace teleported them both to an isolated location.

They were in a desert.

Nazar was confused for a second but then smiled.

“Brings back memories. I used to train here when I got my powers back last year.”

“Don’t talk. Get faster.”

“Okay.”

She slowly increased her speed and Nazar was able to catch up to her.

“Anyway, why did you take off your shirt?”

“Well, I was at home and there was no one there. Plus, I don’t want my clothes to be covered in sweat.”

“Sigh. You are weird.”

“Thank you.”

After five minutes of running, Solace knew how fast he was.

“340 miles per hour.”

“Damn.”

Nazar was actually surprised.

“You still lost to me.”

“Eh, good enough for me.”

Running for 5 minutes straight as fast as he did, will make anyone tired. But Nazar did not show anything like that.

He seemed perfectly normal.

“Let’s go home. We will test my other abilities now.”

“Okay.”

They were back home now.

In front of Solace, a rectangular metal appeared.

“Punch it as hard as you can.”

“Okay.”

Nazar punched it as hard as he could.

And as he did, a massive dent appeared in it.

“That was 10CM Chromium.”

She changed something in the rectangular metal once more. It became thicker.

Nazar punched it. And there was a very, very small dent.

“That’s 20CM Chromium.”

“Interesting.”

The metal became thicker.

Nazar punched it and the dent was even smaller.

“25CM.”

It changed once more and Nazar punched it.

“Nothing, huh?”

“Yes, it is 28CM now.”

“Oh. So, that’s the limit.”

“That’s pretty good. Chromium is one of the hardest metals on Earth.”

“Let’s test grip strength.”

The rectangular metal vanished.

“Okay.”

“How do you want to test it?”

“Uh, just create a square metal with a handle. And then keep adding a few kilograms to it.”

“Okay.”

A square metal appeared with a handle.

The handle was also made of metal.

“Currently its 100 kilograms.”

“Okay.”

He lifted it with rather ease.

He did it with one hand.

They did so until she found out how much he could lift with one hand.

“Holy shit!”

“Yeah, 1125 kilograms is a lot.”

“So, I can definitely lift a lot… but why could I not make a dent in a 28 CM Chromium? And why was I so slow?”

“Uh, the speed part is easy. With your muscular body and heavyweight, you are slowly.”

Nazar did not like the term heavyweight.

“How much do I weigh?”

“Right now you are 150 kilograms.”

“Eh?”

“You are much lighter when you have your powers on.”

“Hmm?”

“When you have your powers on, you are using those energies, even if you don’t notice it. You keep using it subconsciously. But without it, all those energies are inside you and you are not using it. So, it builds up and you get heavier.”

“Weird. I need to change that.”

“And your muscles are very big. So, it makes it harder to run faster.”

“Oh.”

“When you turn on your powers, you subconsciously turn on an illusion or make everyone think they are smaller. Only you and Laura knows how big they are. And of course, me.”

“That makes it sound weirder.”

“But I have to know… why does no one see your big muscles though? ”

“Telepathy and illusion manipulation helps. I don’t want anyone to know I have big muscles. I want them to see me as a weakling.”

“That does not make sense.”

“Let’s see… if you were to see a guy with no muscles and was super thin and kind of short… would you be threatened by him?”

“I can see their power levels--”

“No, I mean if you were a human.”

“Uh, no?”

“Exactly! So, they think I am weak, but once I show them power, it is kind of funny seeing the look on their faces.”

“And why did you reduce your height?”

“Do you know how tall I used to be?”

“2.20 meters.”

“Exactly! That’s inhumane.”

“So, did no one question you?”

“Here is the problem… everyone saw me as 1.80. Even in pictured and stuff. I think I have to thank Aarin for that.”

“How do you know it was her?”

“Who else would do it?”

“Ah, I see.”

Nazar stretched his body a little.

“Okay, let’s test durability.”

“But how?”

Nazar thought about it.

“Punch me. Using as less strength as possible.”

“Okay.”

She did that.

And as she did, Nazar was thrown away.

“I think you broke a few bones,” Nazar said while laughing.

She healed him immediately.

“Sorry.”

“Don’t worry about it, I don’t feel any pain.”

“Oh.”

After being killed over and over again and in thousands of different ways by his god, the Nameless One, Nazar stopped feeling pain.

So, this one was not so different.

“I guess my durability is not that good.”

Nazar stood up.

“Okay, let’s do something else.“

“What?”

“Let’s train in hand-to-hand combat.”

“Why?”

“I need to learn how to fight. I think it will be interesting. I could use my powers… but I want to see the joy in it. Some people seem to really enjoy it.”

“Oh. Okay.”

“But I am sure, I will give up on it in a few days. Just the same way I give up on studying time travel.”

And thus they started training in hand-to-hand combat.

Earth-5:

The bikini armoured girl was on this Earth now.

But there was no commotion.

Something was wrong.

She did not have her proud and confident aura as before.

The reason was simple.

She was being held by her neck by Nazar of Earth-5.

“Who are you?”

She tried to use her powers and cause commotion into this world too.

And the commotion did begin.

But less than a minute later, she found herself facing this world’s Nazar.

And as soon as he appeared before her, he started attacking her.

And she was not ready for him.

He easily managed to beat the crap out of her but right now she is nearly at the end of her life.

“”

She managed to say that but it took her a while.

And as soon as she said that, a portal appeared behind her and swallowed her.

Not a single person or thing besides her was teleported out.

Nazar was confused.

But then he snapped his finger.

A few people appeared behind him.

“I have a bad feeling about this. It’s time to prepare for a battle. A battle that might decide the future of our world.”

“My lord…?”

“I am not sure myself but just get ready. She was powerful. And if she has a master, then they are probably much stronger than her. So, we need to prepare.”

“Okay, my lord.”

They vanished into thin air.

Nazar looked up.

“Let’s see what will happen...”

He looked around him and everyone was calmed down as soon as they saw him.

He tried to smile but he does not have a face to show it.

(I wish I could turn into my human form. I sometimes hate this form.)

He sighed and then vanished into thin air.
