Chapter 173 - Battle for Planet Earth (Part 8)

Wednesday, 30th of October 2019 - Universe-1:

In the place where it was Earth, Nazar was floating next to Reaper and Meltdown.

For Nazar, it was easy to easily move between the many dimensional planes of existence.

It is because he is a being of the 8th dimensional plane of existence.

“So… the Earth and the other Earths (?) are inside the 7th dimensional plane of existence which we did not know existed until now?” Meltdown said in a confused tone.

“Basically,” Nazar said slowly.

“And what do you want us to do?”

“Well… since it's going to be the 31st of October on Earth in less than 10 minutes on the other side, I thought maybe I should get the plan started.”

“We could have done it yourself yesterday but there was a barrier preventing us. But then it broke a few minutes ago,” Reaper said.

“Yes. I broke a small part of that barrier to get here. It’s very hard to break.”

“So….”

“I will break it from within and you pull the planet. Can you do it?”

“Of course, I can. Pulling a planet is not easy.”

“But he has me, just in case if he can’t do it,” Meltdown said.

For some reasons, he sounded happy.

“And I have studied the barrier. I can break it apart from this side.”

Both Nazar and Reaper looked at him in surprise.

“I have been ‘training’. I can now understand and manipulate magical energies. That barrier is nothing but a magical barrier.”

“Huh?”

“What?”

“What?” Meltdown sounded surprised after he saw their surprised expressions.

“It’s a magical barrier?” Nazar shouted out. “Ugh. I hate magic. Too unpredictable.”

“I didn’t know you could understand/manipulate magical energies,” Reaper said.

He then looked at Nazar.

“And I agree, it's too unpredictable.”

“Magic is not that hard to understand. It’s just… you need a magician to help you.”

“Oh.”

“Anyway, don’t break the barrier until I tell you, okay?”

“Hm?”

Both of them looked at Nazar in confusion.

“He said something about the barrier is the only thing that can keep the Earths safe. So, don’t break it.”

Meltdown frowned.

He worked so hard to finally understand what this barrier is and how to break it.

“Just wait until my signal.”

“Oh, okay.”

“And don’t break the barrier fully. Just enough for this Earth. And Reaper will pull it out.”

Nazar knew that they could do it, so he left immediately.

“He is weird.”

Nazar then went to Universe-2, then Universe-4, Universe-5, Universe-6 and then Universe-8.

He went to each reality and marked a place.

A place where there was still a small crack left when the Earth was pulled in.

He then went to Earth-1 in the 7th dimensional plane of existence.

Above his home, Solace, Jake and Eddie were floating.

Nazar noticed that something was wrong with Eddie.

He did not seem his usual self.

Of course, this was not the place to be his cheerful self, but there was something else wrong with him.

Nazar could tell that something was wrong his powers.

He couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong with it.

“Eddie--”

“It’s nothing.”

Eddie saw Nazar looking closely at him, so once Nazar tried to ask him something, he knew what it was.

“Okay, so what is really happening?” Jake asked.

“Apparently, we have to fight the other Earths? I don’t know. But I could use your help, Jake. I know you are past that, but you were their leader. So, can you gather them and try to keep the place safe?”

“Okay.”

“Eddie, are you sure you are okay?”

He nodded.

“Fine. Then come with me.”

“Got it.”

“Solace…”

Nazar was not sure what role to assign her.

“Can you disguise as me?”

All of them looked at him in confusion.

“I am going to save those planets. So, I can’t be there with you.”

“Ah?”

“I have a plan and I have discussed it with other ‘Nazars’ but I am not sure if they will do as I say. Actually, scrap that. They didn’t even listen... Anyway... I will use this chance to get out and take out each planet out of here. I have called help in the other realities and I think I will be okay. But you guys need to keep Aiht ‘busy’ if that’s even possible.”

In Nazar’s hand, an energy barrier appeared.

He placed one around Solace and the other around Eddie.

It was so thin, that no one could see it.

“It’s not like this, but it's more or less the same. It will stop you from dying completely as soon as you leave the barrier.”

“O-oh.”

Solace’s form changed.

She looked like Nazar now.

“Just keep him busy and I will take care of the rest. I hope I can do it.”

They all nodded and went to different places.

Eddie and Solace flew up and Jake flew somewhere else.

Nazar went the other end of the planet.

“Oh no.”

He finally realised something.

Of course, he should have noticed it earlier.

Something vital they all forgot about.

He created a much weaker clone and it flew towards Eddie and Solace.

It reached them in less than a minute.

“Solace!” Nazar shouted to Solace behind their back.

“What is it?”

“You can go back to your original form. I have placed an illusion that will stop Aiht from noticing that I am at full power. I am sure it will work.”

“I could do that… Oh.”

Solace noticed that too.

She went back to her original form.

“What is going on?”

Eddie was confused.

“Though Solace has my energies and most of my powers, she cannot replicate my emotions. That guy might be able to see if she a fake one. Does that make sense?”

“I guess so...”

“His only powers are energy manipulation with absorption and emotion manipulation. So, he does know emotions and I have a feeling that he might be able to recognise me from my emotions.”

“Oh...?”

Eddie was still confused but he somewhat got what Nazar meant.

They flew up and up and up but then all of a sudden, all three of them vanished into thin air.

Before they knew it, they found themselves in a weird place.

There was a circular ground that was floating in this dark dimension. It was about a mile wide.

Abovethis circular and floating place, a man was sitting on a floating chair.

Nazar looked around and saw nothing for what seemed like thousands of miles.

All of a sudden, all the other Nazar’s showed up.

“As you know, I hate all of you. And since some of you brought in some friends, I hate them too. So, now, I want you to fight one another, so I can kill the rest of the five Earths and everyone on it.”

They all just froze in their places.

Aiht looked very bored.

And he did not even wait a minute to announce what he wanted them to do.

Before they could even react, Aiht had manipulated their emotions.

And all of them started to make a move.

All of a sudden, they started attacking one another.

Even Solace, who is a mechanical being could not resist Aiht.

Yes, she understands emotions and can show it, but she does not have emotions.

So, how was Aiht controlling her?

Well, he manipulated her programming by using his energy manipulation. He first used electromagnetic manipulation to change around some stuff, which allowed him to get access to her programming and then changed it from there.

It only took him a second to do so.

Aiht waved his hand and everyone moved like mindless beasts.

They all attacked one another.

No, they did not attack their teammates. They attacked people from another universe.

As soon as the match began, Nazar-5 blew up his energies like he was some kind of bomb.

In less than a second, all of them were thrown away.

All other Nazar’s found themselves hurt.

The younger Nazar of Earth-4 and so was Nazar of Earth-2 was already out of the picture.

The Nazar from Earth-2 had lost his powers and the younger Nazar was new to powers, so he did not know how to control his powers and was not very strong.

These two were already defeated.

Nazar-5, Nazar-6, and Nazar-8 were the only ones left.

Nazar-6 was with that world’s Alice.

However, both Nazar-5 and Nazar-8 were alone.

From Alice’s back, two wings came out.

A grey and a white wing shot out.

The wings expanded and expanded.

Then it lit up with grey and white energy.

Then the feathers from those wings shot towards Nazar-5 and Nazar-8.

Nazar-5 was not even harmed.

He took those attacks like they were nothing.

However, Nazar-8 was in a little trouble.

He found his freedom not too long ago, so he has not been able to train or understand his powers or understand himself as a human being.

He tried dodging it but couldn’t dodge it forever.

So, one of the feathers hit him.

As it did, he cried out in pain.

(Wh-what was that?) He thought.

He did not understand what it was.

He felt pain but not at the same time.

It was more like psychological pain than physical pain.

No, psychological is the wrong term to use here.

It was more like spiritual pain.

She was hurting his very soul.

Once Nazar-5 saw that he got wary of her.

He did not carelessly try to approach here.

Nazar-8 was also out of the picture.

This all happened in less than 30 seconds.

Earth-1 Nazar’s clone, Solace and Eddie were very far away.

As soon as Earth-5 started to blow up, they all went away.

They increased the distance between them.

Solace teleported them to the other side.

As soon as she did that, they were safe now.

Aiht was watching this happen before him in boredom.

(I thought it would be fun to watch these guys fight to the death?) Aiht thought.

He sighed.

All of a sudden, Earth-6’s Alice and Earth-6’s Nazar shot themselves towards Nazar-5.

Nazar’s clone, Solace and Eddie joined them.

Even the clone was under Aiht’s control.

Eddie shot a massive thunderstrike towards Alice.

Aiht had made sure that they could use all of their powers.

So, creating a thunderstrike was not a problem.

She easily managed to evade that by flying.

Since Alice evaded the attack, Nazar-6 who was right behind her got hit by it.

She looked back and had a little regret in her eyes.

But she did not pay much attention to it because she needs to focus on keeping herself safe.

Solace flew up and placed a barrier around Alice.

As soon as she placed a barrier, that weak Nazar clone knocked her out.

Eddie shot an even bigger thunder and energy beam towards Nazar-5.

However, it was a mistake.

Nazar-5 managed to easily manipulate energy and thunder.

He redirected and easily took care of Nazar-8 and Nazar-6.

Those two were already down.

The clone of Nazar and Solace knew exactly how he did it.

But they were surprised.

Both Nazar and Solace were surprised.

Last time they met, Nazar-5 did not mention having any ability that resembles Attack Movement Manipulation or Vector Manipulation.

It seems as if he had used Vector Manipulation to redirect the attack while also increasing its offensive power.

“I have been learning,” Nazar-5 said.

Eddie, Solace and Nazar’s clone were the only ones left alive.

“And created a device that can help me win this.”

“Interesting,” Nazar’s clone said.

“I know you are strong but I am not giving up on my subjects.”

All of a sudden, Nazar’s clone flew towards Solace and picked her up.

Both Nazar-5 and Eddie were confused.

Even Ahit was confused.

“Hm?”

Nazar placed his hand on Solace’s head.

She looked confused too.

Nazar’s eyes lit up with yellow energy.

As soon as it did, something happened to Solace.

“I am rewriting your programming.”

“What?”

Solace was not sure what Nazar was doing.

“I am expanding your power limits and I do remember some of your older programmings. So, I am trying to make you more useful against Aiht.”

She felt something change within her.

“Ah. I can do anything you can do now, huh?”

“Yes. And that also means that...”

“I can basically become nigh-omnipotent if I want to, right?”

“Sorry. I don’t know the limits of nigh-omnipotence so I am not sure if you would be able to handle it. So, it's just below that.”

They were speaking in super speed, but Aiht could hear them perfectly.

“Ah?”

“Don’t worry, I will tell you about it some other time.”

“Oh, okay.”

“So, you really think that she can reach that level?”

Hearing Aiht’s question, Nazar looked at him.

“Yes. Her original version could. But this might be close to it.”

“Interesting. But you do know that you are giving me another weapon, right?”

Nazar smiled.

“You won’t be able to control her.”

“Oh?”

Something happened to Solace.

She felt something within her.

“What is...?”

“You are back inside my brain. Your CPU, I mean. So, unless I want to, no one can take control of you. Got that?”

Aiht had no idea what was going on.

“Oh, and I gave you the ability to be able to use Arosus’s power too.”

“...”

Solace did not say anything.

“But don’t worry. I will take you back to normal after a little while. Just for now, you will be extremely powerful.”

Nazar was still rewriting her code.

Aiht let them do it because he was sure he had a new weapon at his disposal.

So, he smiled.

“He is pretty dumb, isn’t he?”

Universe-1:

Reaper and Meltdown were ready for Nazar.

“Do you really think we can do it?”

Reaper was not sure but he answered anyway.

“Of course. I have trust in my abilities.”

“Ah, I see.”

“Why are we doing this?”

Reaper’s sudden question made Meltdown to freeze in his place.

“Why are we helping Nazar? Why are we trying to save the universe? Or this Earth?”

“...”

Of course, they were not doing this for free but they were talking about the other times they helped save a world or even the universe.

“Isn’t it because if we don’t get rid of those problems, we might lose our planet or even universe.”

“But is that all?”

“Well, personally, I saw an entire planet die before me and I couldn’t save it. Then my powers went out of control and Iget was the only one who helped me. So, I was not part of the Death 100 because I wanted to.”

“...”

Reaper sighed.

“I was on Death 100 because of my son. But now I am doing this because I don’t want someone else to lose their children like how I did.”

“Ah. So, we both have our reasons for being here today, aren’t we?”

“I guess, I just needed a reminder.”

“Oh.”

(“Do you hear me?”)

They both heard Nazar’s voice inside their mind.

(“Yes.”)

(“Break it apart, Meltdown. And Reaper, pull the planet while I push it.”)

Nazar knew that Reaper was powerful but he was not sure that Reaper would be able to pull a planet from a higher plane of existence.

(“Reaper, I will break it from here and you break it from the other side?”)

(“Break what?”)

(“The universe.”)

(“Huh?”)

Reaper had no idea what Nazar was saying.

But then all of a sudden, a crack appeared in front of them.

(“Do it! Increase the crack from the other side.”)

(“Okay.”)

He unleashed his energies and used it to increase the crack.

It was just a few meters tall and wide.

(“Let’s do this.”) Nazar said inside their mind.
