Mr. Smith and Chico entered Larch’s office when he calls out to them “ Good, you two are here. Take a seat and watch the t.v.”

“We don’t have time to lollygag.” Stated Mr. Smith.

“Sit down and watch.”

Relenting Mr. Smith sits down on the couch with his partner Chico.

“With the information that the maniac from the other day being revealed to be a former hero there have been massive protests against the GOP. And with their delay of an announcement, it appears they are digging themselves into a bigger hole.”

“I completely agree with you Chet. They need to do something before the protests become more aggressive. They screwed up, and now need to prostrate themselves.”

“Now Jake, that is too strong. We don’t have-”

With the t.v. being turned off Larch speaks, “ As you can see, we are in deep shit. Someone leaked the info about that guy being a former hero. Do you have anything to say Smith?”

“Nope. Couldn’t his parent’s have let the cat out of the bag?” Responded Mr. Smith.

“No, we searched that avenue first, no one has approached them. Smith, I don’t have any evidence it was you but if I get enough to hang you by your testicals, I will. You are now dismissed.”

“Gotcha.”

As Chico heads to the door he is stopped by Larch, “ Hey chico hold up a sec. You have a bright future, don’t let him pull you down.”

“Understood sir.” Replied Chico.

As they leave in their car, Mr. Smith speaks to Chico, “ I told a reporter what I knew. It was ten years ago, I saw him. He was smiling with hollow eyes, covered in his partners blood. It haunts me to this day. Chico, always look for the truth and don’t accept what you are feed.”

“Understood.”
