After delivering the last attack Selia dropped the sword in her hand. She already lost all of her energy and passed out on the spot.

Icarus who was on her side supported her so that she doesn’t fall. He slowly lowered her and lay her on the ground.

Asche who lost her power was no longer can control her wing to fly. Burdened with two man’s weight she went along with the power and gravitation and also fell into the ground.

There was a red blood across her body, the slash wound that Selia made. The wound was deep but, that didn’t finish her off. As expected from a demon, she was sturdy.

However either because she had passed out or losing her energy, she didn’t showed any sign of moving. Just in case Yuu and Kevin took few steps away from her.

The wall of fire hadn’t disappeared. In the mean time they moved the burned body together and checked on them. Miraculously no one died yet.

However their life was still in danger, especially Feral who fought the most. If he doesn’t treat soon then he most likely will die. That goes the same to Hyodou, Raisen, and Hans who were also swallowed whole by the fire pillar.

“Hey, are you guys alive?”

From outside someone called out to them.

“We’re alright!”(Yuu)

Yuu tried to reply them but, because of the heat his voice became hoarse and sound like someone else. The other party confused because of that and discussed something about who was that.

“… Aaa, I had no idea who you are but, because there’s no longer rising fire pillar that mean she was defeated right?”

“Yes, we defeated her.” (Yuu)

A voice of admiration can be heard from outside. Judging from the sound there must be quite a number there.

“Good job! We didn’t expect for you to do it.”

“Can you continue that for later and do something about this wall? We got several heavy wounded people here!” (Yuu)

“Can you explain your situation and the wounded?”

Yuu tried to explain their situation and how worse the other injuries were. The person from the other side of the wall made an order to the people around him and soon busy footsteps and several people voices can be heard from the other side.

Yuu and the other didn’t have any choice but to wait for them. Soon the person called out to them again.

“Sorry for the wait. If you defeated the caster than shortly it will disappear by itself. Currently we’re collecting people to help the wounded. Please hold out for a little longer!”

“I……Understand……”(Yuu)

Although Yuu said that his conscious already started to become hazy. If Yuu the healthiest person there was like that then other was already worse.

Kevin who had a burned arm already let out a groan and it was unclear whatever he was still conscious or not.

Icarus who supported his friend so he keeps conscious also on the verge on losing conscious.

There was no longer a person who was able to move from their spot. They can only wait for the wall to disappear and the rescue.

It was little but, he can feel that the temperature was slowly dropping. This was the sign that the wall weakened, and a good sign for them.

To them who experience the hell like hotness, this slightly change in temperature was a bliss to them. So much that they feel like they just got out from prison which isn’t really wrong.

In their mind they already planned to lay on the cool grass and enjoy the pleasant breeze when this end. That was something they all planned even without talking about it. They all thought of the same thing.

If it already went this far, there’s no way things can go wrong. Although there was something on his mind, for now he already start to feel relief.

The color of the pillar finally became thing enough to see someone on the other side of it. Yuu and Icarus already thought that it was finished but, it still not over yet.

Because they were focused on enjoying the drop in the air, they didn’t hear the weak voice that came together with it.

“……. O’ great fire of life and death, by the name daughter of the demon lord of fire, I Asche Lybryolnyes beseech thee, fire of purgatory and destruction.”(Asche)

Asche stopped maintaining the wall of fire save it for another purpose. Because she stopped maintaining the wall obviously it started to faded and the temperature lowered to normal level.

Using that as a cover she started chanting a new incarnation. Unlike her two previous attacks she had to chant this because this was harder and powerful even for her.

“Thou art sword that purges my enemy. Thou art shield that fed off any threat. I shall offer myself to thou, therefore…”(Asche)

At this point where the heat goes into was already visible with naked eye. Only around Asche light was slightly distorted because of the increasing heat.

If Yuu report this to the person outside, they would try to stop her even if it mean passing through the pillar naked. That was how much dangerous the thing Asche was doing.

However when Yuu realized her, it was already too late. She already finished her incarnation.

“…. Lend Me thee and become a sword and burn all existence, Laevatein!” (Asche)

The wall of fire disappeared and together with that a loud explosion was sounded from Asche’s direction. It blew away everyone that were weak and immobilized the else.

That explosion was comparable to stun grenade in term of sound and light. It was able to momentarily blind the surrounding people and the loud noise cause temporary loss of hearing, and also disturbs the fluid in the ear, causing loss of balance.

However the heat was on the whole different level.

A heat wave was made and affected everything within the radius of few kilometers. The water in the air evaporated instantly and went above the sky, and the surrounding soil around her made a crack and let out a red light.

In the middle of that, Asche, slowly stand up and looked up the sky.

There was a visible change in her. First of all was her facial expression, unlike when she fought Feral and the other now she had this expressionless face that quite different than Bfort’s.

The second was the bright red fire that covered her body. It coiled around her body and arm and as if there weren’t any injury before, it disappeared. And the fire also changed her pitch purple hair into the same red as if it was burning them away.

The last change was on her hand, there was a sword that didn’t exist until a moment ago.

A red sword made out of fire. The sword that was able to burn all existence, Laevatein. In this world that name was clearly engraved in their history.

One swing and road of fire will reach the end of world.

One slash and the horizon will be dyed red.

One stab and from the earth a melting material will fly out and rain down

That kind of over destructive sword was in Asche’s hand.

“…… Laevatein!?”

Someone that wasn’t blown away muttered that.

“………”(Asche)

The expressionless Asche was silent. She only took a glance at them and slowly raised her hand.

“Dangerous……!”

Realized Asche’s intention, someone tried to warn the other but, he stopped halfway. That was because even if he warned them they won’t make it in time.

Faster than his own voice, he ran toward the blue sword on the ground and received it back. The sword let out a bluish glow and that man went toward Asche in a single line.

He managed to shorten their distance into a mere meter but, it was too late. Asche already swung her sword down and an enormous wave was made toward the direction of the village.

“Haaaaaaa!!!!”

The man hasn’t given up and their weapon meet, his blue sword only managed to hold it for one second. The next second it made a crack and shattered leaving nothing but the handle.

The man was blown away by the shockwave and wasn’t able to stopped the wave. However he managed to slightly changed it direction when their sword met.

That slight change was able to change the trajectory of the wave from the village to the forest that was next to it.

Nevertheless a road of fire was made and burn through everything in it way .The forest that was in its way instantly became ash leaving nothing but a wasteland. It continues turning everything to ash until it passed the horizon.

After seeing the road of fire that was made near them, everyone went pale. They were able to avoid the first strike with the price of a sword but, what about the second?

Everyone was shivering in fear and helplessly waited for the next strike.

“………”(Asche)

However no matter how much they waited, the finishing strike didn’t come. After Asche delivered her attack, she just blankly stared at the sinking sunset and spread out her wing.

She started to flap her wing and she was slowly ascending to the sky. Nobody stopped her, they were unable to.

Without saying a single word Asche went above the sky and disappeared from there.

For a while all of them were speechless on what just happened. However they all knew that they were no enemy to her and were spared for some reason.

It was a humiliation to some of them but, in the end they felt glad about it and started treating the wounded.

Yuu and Icarus who were still conscious at that time were unable to accept the reality that they tried to fought that kind of monster and still alive.

To them today was an unbelievable day that started with apocalypse and ended with a disaster. When they think that starting today things like this will occurred every day, they can’t help but feel weak about it.

i only made the incarnation using old English because i thought that it would suit the spell. It wasn't like i thought it was cool and browsed the internet for it or anything ,okay!

My pitiful tsundere act aside, a new person appeared in this chapter. However he still hadn't introduce himself so i left his line without name. For now just imagine him as a swordsman with blue sword

Ah, and what did you think about Asche's transformation? In RPG it was normal when you defeat a boss they change into their second and third form but, doesn't that cheating? Greater stats, new skill, and that absurd HP.

If that was real then it was pretty much impossible for the hero party to defeat them.

I agreed that it was impossible to gather such people in reality in a group but, well it's a fiction. Making it to the point that, i wish that was real is enough.

I'm still a beginner so it might be just me but, yes, making a story without MC is hard. Especially about the human relationship and role. example: with MC it will be like MC-->A, MC-->B, MC-->C( the story focused on the MC doing something) But without it will be like this; A-->B, B-->C, C-->F(the story can be different depend on the character and the focus of the story can go all over the place)

Further more their personality and thought are different, so it was hard to determine what will they do and say. To be short just imagine people in a meeting trying to prioritize their own need.

The lack of character appearance was pretty much my mistake, and all character in the end will fight including Bfort. It was just his turn hadn't come yet.
