There is actually something like an adventurer’s guild in this world though it's called the Vagus guild, it's not really much of a true adventurer’s guild since it does have to take into concern actually being able to run and not be demolished by nobles. The vagus guild is more of a centralized office for specialized guilds to post their work and find more trustworthy individuals then the random shmuck off the street who brags about his sword arm. The other guilds have a play to hire people, headhunt people, and sell to people. People with jobs that need to be done can also come here to post offers and those that want to find jobs can along with creating a reputation for themselves since the vagus guild tracks and distributes your profile. True free adventurers are not the most common thing here since most specialized guilds offer better terms though those who want to make remain in control of their lives do find a place here as independents.

Finally priests of the many faiths do not have political authority for the most part though some high ranking members can be patricians, patriarchs, or viceroys depending on their personal deeds. There is no true almighty religion since there are quite a few gods around apparently that peddle their services. The many gods around tend to make sure that people are quite split as another god might offer more of what they want instead of who they followed before, most gods are pantheons that enshrine several gods of common cause but not necessarily common ethics. Any religious group that gets too powerful tends to get ganged up on and so things are relatively peaceful since crazed fanatics don’t last long as someone'll off them if they try anything too balance breaking. My family for instance does not have a specific patron god but allows free worship of any god from any pantheon. I have not seen any specific god or goddess being worshipped but more in general worship, this is the more common form for the people as this covers all the bases though is not as good a the blessing by one specific god.

Items in this world are graded by the Rarity system, those random household goods usually are in the common section as long as some random mastersmith does not decide to do something strange. Actual goods for combat usually are graded 1-10 based on craftsmanship and material though enchanted goods tend to be considered as well but the variety of true enchanted goods and not those that are given a simple buff like durability/sharpness but flames are rare. The more common goods with weapon only buffs of mundane level are usually called enhanced items instead of enchanted though some can cross the boundary and make things murky.

Now that I have learned the basic information fit for a noble I am now supposed to go to the next stage of training though I only know that it will involve basic ki and more advanced martial arts. But even then this is for the future so far and I don’t have a schedule for what will happen to me. Unfortunately even though I have information on the magician guilds and magic pool levels, actual spells are a no go. Even more common free magi who use the so called ‘life’ magic which is convenient for everyday life don’t share their knowledge readily, wonder what I can get my hands on in the future. Hmm I saw several references to a so called “monster surge” that occurs every twenty to thirty years or so, this could be trouble but I don’t see anything more available here to find out. Why do I have a bad feeling about this?
