《A book fanatic's Journey through a Fantasy World》chapter 6: first day at school

Today will be the first day of school or actually more like a meet and greet day. To bad it is just normal preschool and not some kind of magic school. Well this is gonna be fun, I have gone to school for almost my entire previous life and I thought it was finally over when I got my degree but no now I have to start all over again.
Well it can't be that bad at least I will know most of the tings and its not like I ever had a problem learning I was actually a pretty good student and even in high school I never had to offer any real effort.
It seems that I will have normal school up to my 10th birthday then I have 5 years of magic prep school and afterwards I can go to the magic university in the capital Varin the Crimson City to join either the magic research or magic combat classes.
After I get my degree I would normally get employed by one of the major houses. The reason for this is that blue eyes are pretty rare. Well I wonder how everyone would react if I show them my real powers. Yeah that sounds like fun lets do it in the biggest and most over dramatic way. Maybe offend a prick from one of the major house and then bait out a duel. Then start losing and release my power to face stomp him.
Well maybe I will get a better moment to show it of.
But for now lets leave for school. As I enter the classroom I notice all of the children and their parents looking at me. Oh seems like I am the only one who has come alone today. Well can't blame those kids for needing their parents for everything not everyone has another life full of experience.
I sit down on a random bench and close my eyes. After a while I open them again and see kid from what seems to be a noble standing in front of me and trying to look though. He looks at my clothes and says: “The front row is only for real nobles not fallen scum like you.”

I let out a sigh and stand up and reply: “oh I am so sorry, please forgive that I sat on the place of a real noble.”
Not noticing the big grin on my face the idiot starts smiling and says:”good that you know it. Because I am a great noble I will forgive you.”
I grab his hand and “thank him”. After a second or two I hear the sound of bones breaking and the kind start shouting form the pain. His dad notices this and runs up to me and starts shouting: "what do you think you are doing".
I put on an innocent smile and reply:”I was thanking your son for pointing out my mistake but then I heard the bones in his hand break I never knew that nobles were so frail does he have some kind of disease that weakens his bones or did I just imagine things.”
The dad start looking around nervously because actually this meet and greet is very important for nobles. It is when they introduce their offspring to the noble society.
He then smiles and says loudly: “It must have been your imagination.
I then walk to an empty seat in the back of the classroom. I am not one to run away from conflict but I do try to avoid it as much as possible. Of course If avoiding problems becomes more troublesome then solving them or if I am in a bad mood. I will just start the conflict.
After a few minutes I the door opens again and I see the inbred noble who's face I had turned into a bloody pulp, I think I am going to call him piggyface because learning real names is a real pain. As I inspect his face I become amazed by the powers of healing magic. It looks like nothing ever happened to him. Well seeing that nobles can even heal from those kind of wounds it will become troublesome to beat some of them into submission.

While I am looking at him he seems to have noticed me and I have to say his expression was priceless he started to struggle like a pig who was being dragged to the butcher. I guess that I ruined his introduction last year.
After a few more minutes the teacher enters the classroom and the parents leave. Oh and it seems like the kid who's hand I broke is also nowhere to be seen.
The teacher starts a boring introduction and encouraged us all to the same. I just dicide to close my eyes and listen to these kids.
It seems like there are ten noble kids in my class, not including the one who's hand I broke, and they are all from the same house, the house of Eredran. Two of them are from the main house while the other eight are from branch houses. For some reason there are no children from my moms old house.
Then I hear the girl next to me stands up takes a deep breath and then start shouting:” I am Lisabeth Elra from the main house of Elra and I am so exited to be here.” After here rather energetic introduction she lets out a sigh and sits down.
Mhhh let me think the house of Elra, where have I heard of it again. Of course it is one of the three big noble houses of the city. I heard it was in decline after many members of the main house got killed in the last intercity war.
Oh the intercity war is a battle where neighboring cities fight for rights over things like mines and other resources. The royal family uses this system to weaken the noble houses and thus decrease the change of rebellion.
I guess the noble kids form the house of Eredran have bullied her away so she had no other choice then to sit in the back of the class. It is no joke when they say that kids are the cruelest kind of human.
Well lets see what she looks like from what I heard her say she seems to be a bit of a troublesome girl. As I open my eyes I can see the face of a girl very close to mine. Out of reaction I pull my head backwards but because of my habit of leaning on the back of my chair I fall over.
After hitting the ground with my head my vision start to become blurry. While I still am trying to recover from the fall I can see the girl rushing to me and pulling me up in a very brutish way almost dislocating my shoulder.
She starts smiling and says to me with a cheerful tone: I am sorry for startling you but I wanted to remind you that it is your turn now.
Oh god why did I have to have such a kid sitting right next to me. There goes my plan of relaxing and doing absolutely nothing in school.
I stand up and start talking. “Hello, I am William I have a lot of interest in magic and if you want to know anything about me you can ask Piggyface over there or you can ask the noble kind who's hand I just broke.” I start grinning and ad:”oh and if you have any problem with me it would be nice if u would speak outright, lets all have a fun few years.
Some of the kids who have heard of me from Piggyface look at me like I have just spoken out their death sentence, well for some I may have.

The Elemental Arena
*A Rational-Adjacent litRPG Survival Series.* The time for the trials has come, pitting the mortal species of the galaxy against one another. By completing challenges, clearing dungeons, and defeating rival species, the players may forge themselves stronger and smarter. But only one species will be declared the winner. Earth has finally qualified... ...and participation is mandatory. A twenty-nine year old data entry clerk works together with a group of internationally diverse players to survive. Learning synergistic skills and using teamwork, can humanity achieve an upset? If they don't, their lives are forfeit. Author's note: Chapters will be anywhere from 6k to 10k in words, varying based on the plot beats instead of specific word counts. Realistic actions and teamwork will be important aspects of my story. I'm trying something a little different in writing a realism focused litRPG, hoping to capture the essence of how real people would react to their situation. People are complex and don't always get along. I don't recommend starting the series expecting wish fulfillment tropes just because it's tagged litRPG. It's a survival story with the game settings on Hell difficulty. The plot hasn't gotten there yet, but in the future of the series I want to recreate my nostalgia of forty person raids on Ragnaros, but with the high stakes of boss battles in Sword Art Online. I also love puzzle rooms so expect one of those each book. Warnings: mild PG-rated language, graphic violence and gore, and graphic medical content.
