Oddly enough I also looked like a Fae in this form.

The water girl had dark blue eyes, shiny black hair and fair pale skin.

I had piercing yellow eyes, emerald green hair and “radiant” skin.

Yes, under this moonlight my skin’s effect seemed to be especially pronounced.

Like one of those paintings of mythical creatures.

When I suppose having the only known elder dragon use magic would result in a mistake here and there.

But I’ve come to like this form and wouldn’t change much about it.

I looked relatively the same as my mana form.

The difference was that I could freely use powerful magic.

Though the reason I used that weaker form was because it could take a death blow.

When the mana form is destroyed, my real body would appear.

This would allow me the advantage of a surprise attack.

But if I took a death blow in this form, I’m probably dead.

That’s why I tried to experiment in reabsorbing some mana.

It would always result in some dragon like features if I absorbed too much.

In the end, all I could get away with is super human strength and durability.

I could hold my own against a demon but if more showed up or if it was too powerful, I had to become part dragon.

I finally gathered my bearings and sat up.

I placed my hand on the ground and focused some mana there.

For some reason, I could grow plants with my ancient magic.

I always knew the earth would listen to my will but I thought it was more dirt and rocks bending to my will.

Well it’s time grow some clothes or at least try to.

Soon a shimmering plant started to grow from the ground.

I walked up to it and it wrapped around me.

I fused some parts of it together so it would stay on.

It looked like I was wearing a translucent robe that was somehow still a dress.

The material glistened and if one looked closely, you could see that it wasn’t translucent at all.

It was like if you stared at the night sky and walked around, no matter where you went you would think it looked the same.

Colors of the rainbow appeared to glisten from it periodically while other times none appeared to be there.

In conclusion, this plant was very mesmerizing.

Even for me, I could just stare at this thing for days.

But I had some where to go, the lake was her destination.

I finally got back to the crater though I didn’t want to go any further.

The road was really bad now and I didn’t have shoes on.

SIGH

Oh well I guess I did make this mess.

I held my hand out and focused on the giant crater.

Slowly the loose dirt all around started to crawl back in.

This was as odd as seeing water drip upwards but it turned out fine.

I filled in the crater and even put all the trees right side up again.

Though they did still have scorch marks on the sides of their bark.

I decided to fix the places where that girl had upturned too but only as far as I could see.

As for the direction leading to the lake, I decided to smoothen out the path.

Now I didn’t need to walk with shoes and since I control the earth, the dirt won’t get on me.

I started to walk down the path when I noticed a presence nearby.

“Come out I won’t bite . . much”

“So, the stories are true, a goddess does favor us”

Voiced filled with sarcasm, Arthur emerged from the side of the road leading his horse behind him.

“Are you here to stop me human?”

“I don’t believe I can, after witnessing you command the earth like that”

“Good, then leave this place I have . . . .business to be taken care of”

I said as I started to walk towards the lake.

Surprisingly, Arthur bought my performance, he nodded and rode in the other direction.

Unfortunately, he saw me in this form but no one should ever put a connection between my forms.

My body can make people not recognize me by messing with their brains.

I never dove any deeper in to that ability because it scares me.

Now I have to deal with Arthur later though.

Oh well, stories tend to pop up from time to time about me in this form.

I finally walked out of the path and was met by the lake again.

Its immense waters were lit up by the moonlight and it sparkled with light.

There was another reason I was here though, the visions.

Over the years, I’ve been plagued by snippets of things here and there in my dreams.

I’m sure I remember other things too but I forget them when I wake up.

This lake has given some clear information and I had to know what they were.

I took a deep breath and entered the lake again.

I walked slowly in until my body was submerged.

Soon I felt my mind expanding and I let go.
