I can still remember everything i use to be. I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2000 went hrough all my training and then started working as a small boat operator until 9/11 after that i was dedicated on becoming a seal. I made it through BUDS class 212 and all my training after that. I got assigned to seal team 3. After 4 years on the team I wanted to be an instructer so i asked to transfer over and it was approved. 14 years as a seal instructor qualified in every aspect of training. I am qualified as an instructor in HALO(High Altitude Low Opening), Airbore, Air Assault, Sniper, SEER(Survive Evade Escape Resist) Scuba, Underwater Demolitions, Pathfinder & a few other things. 14 years is a long time to learn multiple areas of training and get certified to teach those things as well. Then i wanted to make E-8 i was told i needed to be in the teams again to be able to get combat command expierence so i went. Our first mission in 2020 we get tasked with reconing a possible chemcial weapons factory in Pakistan close to the Chinesse border. Well it goes FUBAR on the extraction we start taking direct and inderect fire. Mostly small arms probaly some kind of AK-74 variant a few RPGs but they dont know where we are right now so its all good. Then the mortars start dropping probably 81mm thank god for small favors 120mm and we would be toast. Thats when it happens a round lands near me and detonates I lose both my legs and my left armthe team corpsman patches me up the best he can and pumps me with some drugs i dont remember what happens after that I just wake up in the hostpital. They tell me i was not in a coma just knocked out for 2 weeks. My wife Emily and daughter Krista are there when i wake up and i feel like i am letting them down now. Back in 2007 before we had our daughter we opened a small gear and accessory shop in the mall Emily got a nice chunk of money from her grandfather when he passed away but we never used any of it just kept it in a savings account for the interest to keep building. We used that to start the small business and my wife was going to run it with me helping when i could. Now i sit here all the time so i have something to do. My wife has been sick lately in and out of the hospital but i cant really do anything we know now that it is brain cancer but we cant do anything about it. 20 years I gave my country and now they just throw me away and wont help us. We know there is a new expieremental treatment for brain cancer but we cant get approval for it and we dont have the money to do it out right. I just dont know what to do.

I lead this young man to the office in the back and tell him to take a seat so we can talk.

After he invites me to have a seat i pull out the anti-listening stuff Max made up and activate it and set it on the desk then i take my seat.

Chief England I was hoping to talk to you about a job.

He puts some device on the desk I am guessing it is to secure the room from bugs and such but that is only a guess.

What kind of job? I am not very good at things these days if you cant tell.

I want you to be the NCOIC of my SF training. There is a lot to be done and this is going to be a new group. It will not be based on earth but in space.

WTF! This guy must be crazy or he knows something i do not probably both now that i think about it.

Here goes nothing i hope it works.

I explain what happened to me and the girls. I tell him about Max and what my plans are for the future. I tell him about the medical tech we have and that we can fix him right up. I tell him everything because if this guy accpets he will be very important for SGMC's future.

And that is why we invited you to come interview with us but you were the only person to decline so i decided to come in person and ask you while explaining everything. Do you have any questions?

This guy lucks into that! WTF!! I keep going over the story and wondering what i am should do. If i say yes i get my body back and can train again. He wants me to be his top SF instructor for the entire company that is going to be insane. I can already tell this thing is going to expand faster then anything on earth. I wonder....

Yes if i accept what happens to my wife and daughter?

They are welcome to come stay with us and they can either work for SGE or decide they want to be support personell for SGMC its up to them. If they want to they can simply go to school and learn new areas of study that are available thanks to Max.

What about medical care? My wife is very sick right now.

All personell and dependents free medical care period. In the future we will even have civilian implants that will help with there health but those will not be offered unless we know the people are going to stay long term with us. I mean think about it we have the ability to rejuivinate and extend a persons life while keeping them in top condition. So decades are long term not 1 or 2 but 5 or 6 decades is long term now.

That makes perfect sense okay I am in but i need to talk to my wife and daughter see if they are willing to go ahead and join me. I know my wife will agree but my daughter is different she wants to be SF and go shoot people but you know how it is no military will let her go SF.

She can in SGMC if she wants to but she will have to pass the course on her own. I know you wouldnt rubber stamp her but some might if they think you will like it so you will have to keep a close eye on that sort of thing.

You dont mind female's in combat roles? And ofcourse i wouldnt do that it would end up getting her killed for sub-par training. I will beat the fuck out of any idiot trying to pass people that cant make it on there own.

Ofcourse i dont mind. With the tech we have available and knowledge there is nothing a women wont be able to do that a man cant. All our SF personell will get genetic enhancments aswell as top line implant suite. It will make all out perosonell a lot better at there jobs.

Well that makes sense. Okay let me call them and ask them both to come here so we can talk about all this. Do you mind waiting around so when we are done talking we can give you an answer right away?

Jacob I do not mind at all but i do have to be in Texas in 2 days for the conference with all the other people we want to get to stand up our training and first groups for SGMC it is going to be a crazy ride. All the people we invited will be instructors for us. The second group will be Officers and NCO's for our active units then we will start getting enlisted personell. You are all going to be busy but if you design the Training and iron out any problems with it we will be able to get all our people through trainging in weeks no matter what they are going to be doing. Dont forget about the training pods and the time compression that they offer. Also there are serveral things you will need to learn and learn how to be an instructor in that you are not capabile in right now. Such as HAGLO(High Altitude Glide Low Opening) and Orbital insertions. You will aslo need to learn how to operate our combat armor we even have a special class of armor for our SF teams. You will need to learn both as will all our SF members.

Thanks. Is all i was able to say then he just walked out. I kinda like the kid wonder what he is going to do in the future. He has the smarts to not give the tech away atleast. This will be fun!
