《Blood Drinker》Ch 2. The first memories - Edited

The first memories were quite a unique experience. Imagine as a child playing with your rattle in one hand and dragging your plush bear doll in the other, only to stop suddenly and silently staring into the sky. It caused quite the fright to maids watching me who was until that time a rowdy, and selfish child that causes no small amount of grief to the ones' tasked to watch over me. It felt like a zip file suddenly uncompressing into my mind, 15 years of knowledge assimilated in a matter of a few seconds. It felt incredibly uncomfortable like an itch that I couldn't reach no matter how hard I tried. With the face, I was making the disturbed maids came to me to ask what was wrong.
"Poopie," I said making a small grunt and with a stinky swoosh, it was undeniable that I had soiled my underwear and possibly the pants I was wearing. It was quickly followed by maids changing me into new clothes as I continued playing with my toys. A child with a teenager's memories couldn't suddenly change. I mean I get to eat sweets and laze around without going to school, it was practically going on vacation or holiday.
…
In another part of the manor, my father Christopher was staring at the pile papers yet to be reviewed and signed, in his consternation at the amount of work yet to be done. My father was unequivocally a procrastinator and a bad example of what a noble leader of a household should be. And much to his joy of a possible distraction from work or quite a possible dread of more papers to do, came a knock on the door. He quickly rustled some papers to stare at in his act of pretending to be busy. With the swooshing of the door to his dismay, it was my mother glaring at him.
"Oh my, aren't you the busy one." My mother stated in a sarcastic tone as she walked towards the pile of papers. Licking her fingers, she roughly counted the amount left to do. Only to be left with an even more dissatisfied scowl.

"Ah my love, don't make that face you'll get wrinkles." My father said in a voice that got weaker as he continued towards the end of his sentence.
An exasperated sigh came from my mother.
"And who do you think is the cause hmmm. It seems like you barely touched the forms at all." She grabbed more than half the stack before pulling a chair to sit next to my father.
"Darling you need to focus as much as when you were trying to court me. Otherwise, you'll die sitting at this very table." She stated as she went through the papers.
…
"Sign this, and this, and this make sure to look at this before you sign, send this back to be revised."
By the time they were done, it was late into the afternoon.
"Darling, our Adam is coming to the age where he should start his studies or he'll fall behind his peers."
"You're right dear, but you know there's barely enough time between work, I don't even get to see him enough when he lives with us, what will happen when we send him to the academy, we won't even recognize our babe when he returns. Or worst he won't recognize us. …" my father was stopped by a finger on his lips.
"I'm sure you mean you, I make time to see our child. We can keep him with us for another year, 2 at most before we need to send him, but in that case, we're getting him a tutor. A good one at that."
"Of course, darling, only the best for our child."
"Children."
"Children? But we only have Adam." My father gave my mother a quizzical look.
"Not anymore Chris, I've stopped bleeding once again, and it's been 2 months already since the last."
"Oh! That's great news, my love." My father said as he wrapped his arms around her.
"Ugh, that means there won't be any sex until after and then after you finished healing."

My mother placed his face between her hands.
"I think we can share our love for another month, but after it will be as you say since my stomach will start to bulge."
"Then can I have you here." Softly kissing her on the lips,
Before my father could continue my mother moved his lips away with her finger.
"Have some decency, this is a place of work, and more importantly its almost dinner time with our darling babe." She chuckled
Cough cough
"Right you are my love, we can't keep our child waiting on us." My father said with slightly slumped shoulders at his failed attempt.
They headed toward the dining hall as my maids dressed me in new clothes again for dinner.
…
The hushed tones of maids gossiping could barely be heard as the others dressed the boy.
"What do you think happened to the young lord, since the afternoon nap he's been strangely docile."
"Mmmm mmm I know exactly what you mean, normally I think he acts like a "monifer", stakes his claims on whatever he can climb, loudly yelling and hollering, and largely a nuisance to farmers to close to their territory or in our case having to deal with the little tyke."
As they were finishing their gossip, the young lord in question wasn't even making a fuss about the uncomfortable clothing he left with just a pout due to the itchy clothes at the seams while holding the hand of the maid who would lead him to the dining hall.
…
Just as he entered into the dining room, he was picked up from behind.
"Awww, hey my little soldier, muah muah muah."
Slap*
"I can't believe you just slapped me." My appalled father said.
"And why wouldn't he, you're practically a stranger keeping yourself locked in the study with work to be done." My mother said taking me from him.
"Momma." I was nuzzling her on the nose.
"Aigh, what is it honey drop." My mother was surprised at this new form of affection that I gave her.
"I hungwee."
"Oh, don't you worry baby, just give it another minute and the food will be out."
A few minutes later as my father was trying to work on lost time playing with me, the food was finally brought out. A classic dish of meat vegetables in season that was lightly salted to the taste of my parents.
The dish consisted of a type of baked potatoes mixed with some leafy greens similar to baby bok-choy, and rounding with steaks for my parents and mines being cut up cubes of meat. The potato and bok-choy look-a-like tasted a bit plain and the meat on the dry side, considering the type of food I had access to before death but I savored the feeling of eating with family again.
"Adam, honey drop."
I turned to see what it was my mother was calling attention for.
"Soon your days of playing will end, and your studies with start. I don't want you to be saddened, dearie. Your teacher will be strict and they will tell you of our people's history, etiquette, and most importantly you will start you practice combat. "
I was just nodding after listening to what she said. What my mother said would normally be lost on a 3-year-old, with them throwing a tantrum on the fact that they loss their time to play. But after receiving the first part of my memories I was more than ready, a days' worth just to see that there wasn't anything worthwhile to waste my time on particularly with the internet gone, it made the day feel duller than it should've been for a child, to say the least.
