《Eskion -god of all》Everything burns

My eyes fluttered open, I blinked as a bright light was thrust in my face, was I dead? I could feel the cold grasp of death on both of my wrists, wait what? I turned my head way from the light and noticed I was chained to the wall, I was a god so why? I felt someone roughly grab my hair and pulled it in their general direction causing me to turn to them, by them I mean a middle aged woman who had a wicked grin on her face, I was very tired... I felt drained of my energy, essence I how called it, I coughed; my throat was parched
"W-w-water..." I said hoarsely
"Huh did you say something?" She leaned forward, if this was a different situation I would have been trying not to stare at her exposed cleavage, maybe a g, who cares? Right now I was planning an escape, if there was one thing I wanted to do it was find amearys and leila and make sure they we're okay, first being told i'm a god and now this, I nodded and my eyes travelled to the pale of water on a kind of stone table covered in runes
"Oooh, you want some water?" She smiled and walked over to the table, picked up the pale and approached me
I reckon I still had some essense left, I'd have to use the water, it'd have to be precise but careful, I didn't want to kill her, while human beings we're dic**, I must have seen thus coming yes?
A few feet away she stopped and let the pale drop
"No" I said
"Oops my mistake" she just kept smiling
"Do you think i'm an idiot, I know you're a god, however weak you are"
"Exactly, i'm a god not a... " I started, my voice rough
"I meant part god or this shouldn't hurt" she slipped on a white glove and picked up a stone
Advertisement
"I'm supposed to be scared of the stone?" I cough
"Not the stone, it's weilder... This stone is a scale... The scale of the~ "
"Dragon that supposedly hurts my kind" I muttered annoyed, why didn't they understand, how could I be evil? Even if I was this thing, do they really think I'd jus destroy a world I had worked hard to create
"Exactly, why don't we have some fun?"
'I have a feeling I wouldn't enjoy this, at all' I thought and sighed deeply, I closed my eyes and waited for the pain to come but it didn't, I opened an eye, the crazy pshyco lay on the floor ssmoking
'Wth?!!!'
"Leila?" I call and as if on que all of the torches but one go out, a hand reaches out from the darkness to grasp it, the hand was pale white, a man stepped forward, his blonde hair went down to his shoulder, a smile graced his lips and he sported a blue suit, heck his black shoes looked like they cost a lot
"Sorry to the dissapoint" he motioned with his hands and the shackles on my wrists came undone, I dropped to the floor in relief
"Hereclea" he slightly bows and I almost pass out from shock , I would have thought from our brief conversation he would be one of those ugly looking creatures, not the man that had a smile that literally brought this dungeon or cave? Wherever the hell we we're to life
"Any requests?"
"Get me the hell out if here" I say but collapse immediately after
------------------------------------------------------------Leila's PO.
something's just never changed, humanities dipairing doom, mortality rates rising in wars, in the short time she had been a godling, she'd seen it all, why couldn't they just try to be peaceful? Must they fight and die: Leila sighed dejectedly
"I'm telling you humanity has been left unchecked for far too long" Katar, the reaper said again
"You benefit from it most" Variel, deity of home and hearth stated

"Well yes, but you see I'm not the architect here, gyldreod is" katar pointed across the room to gyldreod the deity of war
"Someone has to keep them entertained or they'll riot, blame it all on us" gyldreod shrugged non comittedly
"You are okay with sending millions to their death then?" Ilrune, mother of fertility asked outraged
"Good thing you're there to produce more huh?" Halbar, deity of trickery chuckled
"Ugh why was he even invited" Avalon, lesser deity of air hissed in annoyance, Halbar had played a nasty trick on her once
"Shouldn't we be more fucoeed on the threat level of the prophecy?, it could destroy everything that has been built" Xulgos the diety of knowledge said
"Well of course but there's not much we can do about it now" thorgrin, the deity of courage said
"There's always something to be done" Xulgos replied
"Well do you have a plan?" Norixuis, lesser deity of fire leaned forward in his seat
"None... Yet" Xulgos admitted
"I say we watch the humans destroy themselves and simply start again" Katar grinned wickedly
"katar..." Leila said threathenly
"G-goddess?" Katar stuttered
"you're talking about my creations" leila growled, she didn't appreciate the criticizm especially when eskion had helped her out and now things weren't going smoothly for either of them
"W-what I eh meant was that they are..." Katar paused
"Are what?" Leila narrowed her eyes at him, the entire room was silent, Larak lesser deity of earth and water spoke up
"They're a deviant sub species that does nothing but undermine you"
"I know that" leila sighs again, she was stressing and she knew it, she rubbed her temples in circles
"But I... I know they can change, maybe not now or soon but they'll change"
"You expect too much from them" Larak said
"I agree with Katar, the prophecy; all of it, it doesn't matter, watch them tear themselves apart and start over" Gyldreod said
"So do I" Norixuis said
"and i"Larak said
"Everyone deserves a second chance" variel said
"Even the worst of the worst" ilrune stated
Avalon nodded
Leila stared at variel, maybe she was wrong, maybe it didn't have to be like this, maybe she had reacted too quickly, she had been shoved in a corner and she had reacted poorly, deciding to give up eskion to protect the little she had, maybe larak was right, he would have given everything up for her, she inhales deeply
"Goddess?" Norixuis stared at her In alarm, and she imagined she would too if she saw someone who looked like she did, worn out.
"It's almost time for your eternal sleep to regain your lost energy" xulgos said
"I..." She started when the doors where thrown open, she had turned to vanquish the idiot that wanted to make her headache far worse, and stared at a wide eyed amearys
"Ah it's amearys" halbar smiled
"I. found. him." She said breathlessly
"What?" Leila asked confused
"I found eskion" amearys said, leila stared at her in shock as her heart plummeted through her stomach
'No no no no no...' She kept repeating like a mantra in her head
"Everyone out" she snapped and the deities hurried out of the room
"We have to go get him" Amearys said
"Thats-i-i can't"
"You can't be serious??"
"It's mire complicated than you think" Leila ran a hand over her head wiping away sweat
"I don't see how, he needs us, we help him"
"He's not.. He's nit like us"
"So?"
"He's a demon!!, a part demon part god!!! And far more powerful than either of us"
"He would never have left you to suffer alone, demon or not"
"What do you know, he was going to" leila said annoyed
"I..." Amearys sighed
"you will not go down there, okay? Just let me handle this, please?"
"Yh" Amearys looked away
"Thank you" Leila whispered so quietly that amearys wasn't sure if she had really heard anything

Divine Creatures
Kestra, a [Combat Alchemist] and [Woods Wraith Hunter], is excited to finally receive her third class. But when she attempts to do so, she instead receives a tribulation from the God of Trials, loses her classes, and is informed by the voice of the world that she's been selected to transmigrate with only three days to go. She tries her damnedest to prepare, but even the Elements are different in this new realm. A relatively staid adjustment period is completely abandoned though as she finds that, most distressingly, hundreds of transmigrators have appeared recently with dozens enslaved by the local city lord. Fine! She may have lost her classes and the magic is funky, but she'll be damned if she doesn't have a few true-blue skills up her sleeves. [synopsis re-write by luda305] A light hearted romp where the protag transmigrator *isn't* from Earth. The main story takes place on more of a western xianxia world. Note: profanity tag is because of side characters, and sexual context tag is for some risqué elements before fade-to-black scene. Book 1 is written and scheduled for release a chapter a day till 9/26 (24 chapters total) Book 2 will be added after it is all written. Updated to add fanfic tag because when I picked up the latest Ten Realms I realized that series has had a lot more influence on the setting than I consciously realized. Don't expect military or industrial revolution in xianxia, though.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
