"I challenge you, [Yves Altair]! Let's duel!"

How did this happened to me?

One hour ago.

"Any questions?"

Mr. [Vax] asked the whole class.

One of the students raised his hand.

"Speak."

"Sir, if you have this kind of tool, why didn't you gave it to the kingdom?"

"Yes, it is a sound question. Why didn't we let the kingdom have it? Because these tools are made of a stone not from this world and that stone is also limited."

"??"

All of us were confused. A stone not from this world?

"It was discovered by the 40th Master Magicsmith, [Trevor Gola] while traveling the continent. It was discovered at the Heart of Human Country, the Labyrinth Woods. One of the monsters there, the One-eyed Ogre Minotaur was using it as its own weapon. But since ogres are known for their low intelligence, the Minotaur could only make a halberd and a shield out of it. After he defeated that monster, he collected all samples he could get. He also discovered that it could transform, depending on what the holder wants."

All of his students' eyes shone. A Master Magicsmith defeating a Minotaur ogre? Minotaurs are known for their bulky physique. Ogres are also known for that quality. What more if its a hybrid Minotaur Ogre?

One of his students asked him again.

"Sir, what weapon did Master [Trevor] used to defeat the Minotaur?

"From what i've heard, he used an [Etrium Launcher], a weapon that throws liquefied [Etrium] mixed with [Blazerock], making it explode on impact. Since [Etrium] is a great source of energy, when mixed with [Blazerock] that acts as the igniter, the [Etrium] explodes."

"Oooooohhhh!"

All of us were amazed. To think of using [Etrium] to that extent, Master Magicsmiths really are titles given to geniuses.

"While training your body and mana, also try to achieve the title Master Magicsmith. It would be an honor if I am to be remembered as one of the teachers of a Master Magicsmith."

"Eh? We could?"

"Of course. Like the other departments, you'll learn [Al-chemi] from the teachers of other department. I'll let them explain why it is needed for you young adventurers."

"~Okay!"

We responded joyfully. It seems that Mr. [Vax] gained the respect of his students. What a great teacher indeed.

"We have gone far from the original question. We couldn't distribute it to the kingdom because all of the stock we have are already in your hands. We only have 30 pieces in our storage room. 5 for the teachers, 21 for you guys, and 1 for the principal. The other 3 will be given to the King, the Queen, and the Leader of the High Nobles. So be proud to be the ones who only have it among the adventurers of the kingdom."

"I'll entertain another question."

The one who raised his hand this time was the plump boy.

"Yes?"

"Sir, may I ask the mechanics of the duel system?"

He asks it while looking at me. I have a bad feeling on this.

"Ah yes! Sorry for not explaining."

Mr. [Vax] shook his head. Afterwards he started explaining:

"The Duel System is another system introduced by the principal so that students of Adventurer's department learn from each other. You could enter it by individual or team match. The [Inviter] or the one who asks the other party will set the rules. If the [Acceptor] or the one being invited wouldn't agree on the terms set by the [Inviter], he can decline it. If both parties accept the terms and schedule and could find a teacher to be in charge, they'll fight at the arena, which would be found at the back of this building. The fight will proceed until the other party lose consciousness or concede defeat. All tactics are welcome, but not the intervention of outside sources."

When Mr. [Vax] finished his explanation, the plump man said:

"Then.... I [Charles Hugo], challenge [Yves Altair] for a duel!"

The plump man, [Charles], announced that he wants to have a duel with me. But Mr. [Vax] interrupted him.

"Request declined. Don't be too hasty. You have other lessons than this, remember?"

"Yes sir..."

He sat back at his chair. It looks like he holds some respect towards Mr. [Vax].

After that, the bell rang.

"Then, goodbye my students."

"Thank you sir."

"Be careful of your [Al-chemi] teacher!"

What does he mean by that?

As he exit the room, [Charles] approached me.

"You're lucky, little coward. Wait until lunch, I'll let you know that you don't belong in this class."

As he said those lines, the other two snickered.

"Get lost, ugly."

[Eleonor], hearing [Charles], tries to protect me. [Charles] and his lackeys left and goes back to his seat. The next teacher enters the room. She's an adult woman that looks like she's in her mid 20's. She wears an unbuttoned lab coat and an orange t-shirt underneath. She wears jeans, which makes her look like a bandit boss. What she's holding is a magic tool, which looks like a crystal ball. After placing the ball in the table, she started to speak.

"Heyo students~! I'm ya new professor in [Al-chemi]~, [Dianne Lvonne]! "

"Haaaaaah?!"

All of us were surprised. Our [Al-chemi] teacher is this woman who uses weird speech?!

"Don' cha 'haaaaah?!' me! 'spect me as yah teacha'~!"

She said that line while pointing angrily at us.

We really couldn't get what she's saying.

"Ugh. I thought this speech was the fab this year. Well anyways, I'm [Dianne Lvonne], your teacher in [Al-chemi]."

"If you could talk straight, please try to do so!"

All of us screamed at her.

"Sorry Sorry~! Well, anyways i'm here to teach you the basics of [Al-chemi]. Within your 3 years of stay here, I'll make you learn all of the contents of this book."

Book? What book?

We saw her taking something from her pocket. After a few seconds, she pulled a gigantic book from it and placed it on the table. The book that almost block half of her body came out of that little pocket?

"Uhmm, Ms. [Dianne], how did you do that?"

"Oh that? It was the project of the 20th Master Magicsmith [Yuri Brune] exclusively for all faculty members teaching in this academy. She called it [Teleportation Pocket]. It will let me get my things from the faculty to my class. Its convenient, but I couldn't take magic tools from it since it would break the magic formation inside of those tools on teleportation."

"What is the cause of that?"

"They say that it only copies the thing... Well I don't care about the details as long as I find it useful~!"

This teacher....

"But how did you lift such heavy thing with that body?"

"He he~ I'm proud to introduce to you my invention~! The [Gravity Ring]!"

"I just want to say this again. I am [Dianne Lvonne], 25 years old, the 42nd Master Magicsmith. I obtained that title at the age of 14!"
