《Absorbed》Chapter 14

They then walked out of the camp, walking towards the nearby mountain inside the forest.
Klaine asked “If the mountain is inside the forest, won’t other tribe also come for it?”
“Well what you said is true, but we are sharing the Mountain Mine with two other tribes, the deal is basically we all get to use the mine while we also protect each other, so unless it’s a tribe bigger than us three tribes grouped up together then we won’t lose the mine.” Prelaz said
“I see that makes sense” Klaine said
Klaine then just dropped the question, as they got closer to the mountain he saw some goblins patrolling mostly at a group of 10 but none of them wore Armor.
*Looks like only Armored Goblins are the only strong ones* Klaine said in his mind.
After some time they were finally at the entrance of the Cave, they then entered and Klaine could see much more goblins than before and there were even some humans but they are bound by some rope tied around their head.
Klaine seeing a human did not show that much of an expression but in his mind he was saying about realizing the current cruelness of this world.
In his mind this world looks like a place where anyone will do whatever they can to survive, even if it means being cruel, He did not really want this kind of thing but he of course realized that if he could not go out of this dream then he would have to understand this, so no matter how much he thought about the cruelness he still did not go and rescue them, he only watched them get abused.
He saw someone getting whipped by a rope, and his eyebrows flinched seeing that it was a woman probably around her 20’s, but he still did not go help.

Prelaz was just walking like it was normal, he was used to this kind of scene, sometimes someone might even suddenly die but that’s because they tried to fight back, they don’t normally kill them if they don’t fight back.
They just continued walking deeper in the cave
*At least there’s no children in here* Klaine thought
Since he got in here till now he saw no children at all and only saw 20’s and up making him at least a bit relieved, but confused so he asked “Looks like there’s no children in here?”
Prelaz heard this and answered “Oh we don’t normally get children, but if we do, we would release them with their people, but if they come alone then we would just guide him out of the forest. But it also depends on which tribe saw the child.”
Klaine then nodded *so it’s like that, looks like they at least have a little bit of mercy*
They continued walking until they finally saw a Dead End
“Okay we should go back now” Prelaz said
Klaine nodded and walked with Prelaz back to the entrance
Actually those slaves saw Klaine walking without a rope tied around his neck so they were confused, but they have no time to ponder about that as they needed to continue working for these goblins.
They then reached the entrance again, he saw Prelaz walking towards someone so he followed.
“Ghair, Is there any problem inside?” Prelaz asked
“No problem inside Boss” Ghair who was approached said.
Prelaz nodded his head, seeing this Ghair then returned to his normal duty and walked in the cave.
“So looks like we are done here” Klaine said
“Yes, we are indeed done here, so what do you plan to do?” Prelaz asked
“I guess I’ll just walk around the forest” Klaine replied
“Okay be careful not to lose your way” Prelaz said
“Thanks See you” Klaine replied as he walked towards the forest.
Actually he just wanted to find a way out of his boredom so he wanted to see if he could see anything in this forest, he just walked into a straight line as he thought that he could probably not get lost if he walked like this right?

Much like his father before him, the new master of House Doom is a prodigy of war, yet the venerable minions of his household still hold strange loyalties toward his missing ancestor, silently comparing the legendary rage of his father to the more pragmatic approach of the son. Adding to Basil’s frustrations is the lack of accomplishment he feels for his work, with the dungeon keeper often taking on handicaps just to give his enemies a fighting chance. With all the power and wealth one could ever dream of already within his grasp, Basil now finds that the achievements of others kindle more joy in his heart than his own crushing victories. Thus Basil has taken up mentoring the next generation of dungeon keepers to try and diagnose the cause for his own lack of passion. With his apprentice, Elnora, managing most of the daily work around the dungeon, Basil can finally turn his attention towards his personal concerns, such as tackling the shadow of his legendary father that still looms large over him.
