《Re: Globus Online (Completed)》Chapter 1. Prologue

I was just a normal Otaku enjoying the new game released... Globus Online. I put on the [Globe] as usual... The [Globe] was the helmet-like virtual reality gear that allowed me to log in and covered your entire head and the inside actually had a map of the world... Cool right? Wait... Who am I even talking to? Ah... No matter. Well... I logged into the game and played for a bit, got the tutorial out of the way... Did a couple quests and got a job and some not so beginner gear...
When I came out of the game after I was satisfied with my progress... I noticed I was running out of ramen and other food! Even water! So I decided to go outside... I was in an out of the way country near a huge war... Luckily our country was neutral... Until yesterday I think it was...? Well... I atleast thought it wasn't going to reach the backwater town I was in so soon... Well I was wrong. The moment I opened the front door of the apartment building I was in... I met a very friendly barrel. The barrel of a tank. Needless to say... In the middle of wartime... If there is one person coming out fearlessly, shoot him. And that is what happened to me... I got shot in the face by a tank... And I just wanted to refill the stocks to play even more Globus Online in peace... I never imagined i'd meet a tank that shot me in the face!
It was even my glorious first step out of the apartment building for the week!
Well... Right now I am just hovering in an empty space. I have no idea what is happening and no idea of what to do...
Until I hear something weird... It's like the [Globe] booting up but not at the same time... It's like somebody is booting up a new server for the game of Globus Online... Yes, I've heard how a new server was booted up because at the handing-out of the new game they also showed us how the game servers functioned and I heard how the servers started functioning so we could play...

It sounded awfully familiar to that.
But there is no way there is sound in this emtpy place... There is nothing here except me right?
That is what I thought... Until this appeared infront of me.. And the land of Globus Online appeared below me...
And that is how my story begun.
Wait... Who am I talking to again! I really need to stop talking to myself about some kind of story. Well Yeah... I might have died but it could've been a dream! That means... I am going to be the MC of my own world!? Yes!!! Now to see what it looks like...
*Ding*
And a familiar screen popped up.

From Nothing
Rejoice Humanity! You have been invited to join the Galactic Hegemon. It is time for our Centenary Caste Competition. The best 1% of humanity will be given a 1 cycle tutorial before the 5 cycle contest. Be brave, be bold, but most of all, be strong and earn your place and privileges. Burning red letters hung large in the vision of everyone on earth that knew a written language. At the same moment that smartest, fastest, and strongest people on the planet disappeared with nothing to mark their passing. After a cycle of training and growth they would compete to earn their place in their suddenly expanded galaxy. This is not their story. Joe did his best to take care of his parents house and stay healthy. He was the only one of the four family members not chosen. The societal upheaval made by the announcement made the inflation and purges of the 20's seem pleasant by comparison but he keeps his head down and survives. Once the next message arrives 11 months later about the contest starting, even that society broke down into city states around large population centers. Joe tightened his belt and looked forward to the day that his family returned. Two years later burning red letters once again filled his vision. Humanity, the last of your competitors have been eliminated. Your determined caste level is 13 of 13. As such your planet has been claimed and will be repurposed for ideal resource production. Rifts will be seeded across the planet to increase resources and mana density. Your orbit will be corrected to ideal Hegemon standard. Do not interfere with any Hegemon activity, as the bottom caste you have no rights. Rejoice that all castes receive at least the basic Hegemon Growth System. Better luck next century. Joe didn't comprehend any of it. His family was dead. Everything he cared about was gone.

Kismet Online: Root Alpha
Hayato Ichiharu was an assassin who boasted a rate of success of 100%. A king of assassins called [Psychotic fox] and a figure that struck fear even in the veterans of killers and wars. A figure no one has ever seen, not even his middleman who gave him the contracts, that has acted against corruption and sins. A virtuous assassin that never killed children, women or the elderly unless they were corrupting the nation he served. Now, after 10 years of service, Hayato [Psychotic fox] Ichiharu had finished his last job and is now trying to live a normal life as a normal university student who plays an online game called [Kismet online] and living with his family whom he had been separated from long ago. Trying being the key word because as soon as Hayato was in [K.O] he and every other player online were ‘transported' into [Kismet] by a religious cult that wanted to try and enter virtual reality. After reading the rest of what 10 year old me had written: i had came to a conclusion that it had too many plotholes, unexplained important information and a lack in character behaiviour so i have re-written the entire story and so a lot of things have changed compared to the first one i have posted.
