Author - Warning, warning! MC will turn into an insane bastard for my own reasons of trying to make things fun! Might ruin some peoples images and wantings of the MC but i'll remind you here... This is my own story that I will insert my own ideas into! So, Sorry? Tehee~

We are currently staring at the forest we are supposed to slay goblins at. Let's just say... I'm looking forward to it.

"Umm... Ethos... You have a creepy smile... A very creepy one... Did you do something?" (Iris)

"Oh... Nothing nothing! It seems that my smile came back that comes out when I am about to see a mob being killed or in PVP this smile comes out aswell in reality. Guess it came to this body with my personality aswell. Don't worry about it!" (Ethos)

"Ok... But it's really creepy and scary... Now I know why most people in our high school called you the Incarnation of Death..." (Iris)

"Oi! Leave that name alone! That is the past! Yes I might've beat up a few guys while smiling like that because they made me angry by calling me trash and such but that was justified! They were bullies anyways!" (Ethos)

"Let's go into the forest alright? I want to level up already!" (Jil)

"Yes yes Jil. Oh... I just noticed your character models... I didn't pay much attention to them before but right now I wanted to see what gear you had and noticed... It's your real life selves isn't it?" (Ethos)

"Took you long enough! You told me I looked beautiful so... I for some reason... Did this..." (Jil)

"Same... You said I was cute in reality so I tried to re-create myself in-game as best as possible..." (Ethos)

"Sorry sorry! I might be a little dense after all... And after all those anime with dense main characters and I had to lump myself in with them... No! I will fix my dense habits!" (Ethos)

"Umm... Ethos?" (Iris)

"Oh nothing! Let's go!" (Ethos)

We walk into the forest and I immediatly notice with my powers a band of goblins and... A strong one? Did the event really happen!? Yes! It did! It's definetly the Goblin King! Yes yes yes! Finally I can act like the main character and not just an administrator who helps the heroines until the hero comes along!

Hmm...? Why are there... Why are there players and NPC's there?! Let me bring up the coding pattern...

"Girls, the goblins are head over there. I need to check something out real quick. Don't worry, I won't change anything depending on the event. It's just... Something is strange." (Ethos)

The girls go and start fighting the goblins and the goblin king. Well... The goblin king is hidden due to the quest but...

This is definetly weird. The coding pattern says that the players cannot log out... Are they trapped? I'll need to find out about this... It'd be bad if the game's reputation drops due to an event malfunctioning and accidentaly grabbing players aswell and not letting them log out... Bad reputation equals no money equals server shut down equals me in heaven.

I depend on the servers to exist in this world after all... There is only one Virtual Reality game right now I think... I don't know.

I only knew how to log onto the Globus Online game after I reincarnated due to me playing it for so long... I don't know if I could teleport into the other games aswell as I don't know their coding patterns and such...

Virtual Reality games take a lot of money to create aswell... Especcially something like this what has a lot of A.I's...

I quickly look through the A.I list. Nope... No malfunctions...

I'll need to get closer to them but if I leave and go to the dots the event won't trigger due to me being too far away... But it's weird...

I'll trigger the event and quickly end it. Speaking of triggering the event it should trigger soon...

"Roaaar!" (Goblin King)

"Oh! There it is!" (Ethos)

"You said you weren't going to change anything!" (Iris)

"I didn't! It randomly generated! I swear! I can show the change log!" (Ethos)

"Fine but help us quickly!!!" (Iris)

As Iris says that she gets grabbed by the Goblin King who starts running off with Jil and Iris in his hands. This should be where I relentlessly chase after him until the final battle right?

Sad... I teleport myself infront of the Goblin King and Immobilize him using the coding pattern and change a few things around.

"Iris, Jil. I'll be right back... I made it so nobody can see you or the goblin king so when I come back only I can see you girls and the goblin king and then I'll re-activate the event. I really want to do this event but there is a malfunction in the system I think...

Maybe not but it's weird. I'll be back!" (Ethos)

"Oi! Ethos! Don't leave! Please!" (Iris)

"No!!! Don't leave!!!" (Jil)

I teleport myself to the place I saw the dots at with my map. When I teleport infront of them I see Iron Cages with women inside of them.

"Weird... These cages should be normal... Players, why don't you log out?" (Ethos)

"We can't! We tried... It said that an event was going on and logging out is not allowed!" (Female Player)

"An Event...? There shouldn't be one around here. Let me check and then i'll free you... Weird, i'll need to talk to the others about this." (Ethos)

I check the Event List and there was a quest linked here... Every female in a village regardless of NPC or Player status was kidnapped by a dark wizard and imprisoned here...

"Hmm...? It wasn't a glitch. I guess it really was an event function. I really need to figure out what events are where. I guess it was a random location event. I'll be on my way then. Sorry for bothering you girls. Your heroes should come soon." (Ethos)

"Wait you dark wizard!" (???)

A player swings at me from the side but his blade shatters when it comes into contact with me.

"Hmm? I'm no dark wizard. I came here because I thought there was a glitch within the system but there wasn't. I don't know where the dark wizard is. Sorry bud." (Ethos)

I tap him on the shoulder and bring up my teleportation screen but a mage tries to stop me by using a time stop spell on me.

"Come on now..." (Ethos)

I turn around and one of them seems to recognize me... This does not mean well... And It's the heavily-armored Tank-class player!

"Is that you, Idiot Otaku!?" (Tank)

"No, I do not know who you are talking about." (Ethos)

"Oh... Now that you mention it... It is the Idiot Bastard! Hahahah!" (Swordsman)

"Stop. I have to go already." (Ethos)

I bring up my screen again.

"Idiot bastard! Otaku King! Otaku!!!" (Band of 'Heroes')

"Shut up before I make you shut up, honestly..." (Ethos)

I teleport away and go back to the event area I was in before and re-activate it while listening to the screams of Jil and Iris who are really mad at me... I explained to them what I was speaking about while re-activating the event.

When I re-activated the event the goblin king blasts off because the Event basically makes it so the Goblin King always arrives to his cave before the player.

It's funny seeing a blaoted green goblin with a crown ontop of his head and holding two angry women. Well... I should really go now shouldn't I?

I run after the Goblin King and catch up to it at the Cave.

"Just as the Event description says." (Ethos)

I look behind the Goblin King just to find a ton of naked NPC women.

"Not... Exactly as the description says... I guess there are still things I don't see even while being god." (Ethos)

The goblin king grabs Jil by the neck while throwing Iris at the pile of women who carefully catch her. The king brings out his sword and holds it at Jil's neck.

"So I guess this is the Hostage situation in the event huh?" (Ethos)

I start walking forward until a screen pops up and a Click goes through my head.

Entering Combat!Split-Personality detected!

I start laughing as I close the screen... I slowly walk towards the King as I create myself an axe out of thin air and sharpen the axe as much as possible.

"Dear Goblin King. Which King lost his left leg today?" (Ethos?)

The King just roars like a beast again.

"The Goblin King lost his left leg today." (Ethos?)

I charge and cut off his leg in an instant and I grab Jil in the same instant and throw her at Iris to catch.

"Dear Goblin King. Which King lost his right eye today?" (Ethos?)

The king doesn't respond.

"The Goblin King lost his right eye today." (Ethos?)

I grab the goblin king's head and gouge out his right eye, blood flying everywhere and the same creepy smile on my face.

"Dear Goblin King... Which King lost his right arm today?" (Ethos?)

"The... Goblin... King?" (Goblin King)

"Correct! I am amazed you speak... But no matter." (Ethos?)

I drop my axe and grab the goblin king's arm and shoulder and rip off his right arm with blood flying everywhere and throw his arm to the side.

"Dear Goblin King... Which King lost his right to concieve children today?" (Ethos?)

"The... Dwarven... King?" (Goblin King)

"Wrong! You!" (Ethos?)

I pick up my axe and hit it in his child-making stop and the goblin king howls in pain. Nothing flies out due to the leather cloth consuming all the blood and probably other fluids that flew out aswell.

"Dear Goblin King... Which King got his heart torn out today?" (Ethos?)

"Me...?" (Goblin King)

"Correct! Now... Say goodbye!" (Ethos?)

I tear apart the Goblin King's flesh until I see his heart and then tear that out, finally killing the King.

A screen pops up and a Click goes through my head.

Exiting Combat!No Rewards given, Maximum XP and Stats found for Killer.Split-Personality not detected!

"What... Happened? Why am I... Holding the Goblin King's heart?" (Ethos)

I look toward the axe on the ground and then towards me. I am covered in blood... I get up and walk towards the girls. They all try to run away and cover to the back of the cave but they cannot go anywhere because they are already at the back of the cave and I am at the entrance.

"Why are you so afraid of me? What happened? The last thing I heard was a click and then I blanked out..." (Ethos)

"Ethos... You didn't blank out... You turned into something I never thought you would... A cold-blooded killer. It seemed like you were used to torturing and killing living beings..." (Jil)

"Really? I do not know... I only killed mobs in-game... When I first played Globus Online I also heard this click and then found myself in a pool of blood with one HP remaining and many dead mobs around me and a lot of screens infront of me...

One of them said something about a split-personality." (Ethos)

"It seems like there is another side to you, Ethos... One that is used to killing. What could've made that personality?" (Jil)

"I've heard that click everytime I was in a dangerous situation since my birth... I was about to be mugged once and then I heard the click... Next thing I knew I was in the police station..." (Ethos)

"So it's been with you since birth... That's scary to know... You are so kind and caring but once you go into battle... You turn into a killer..." (Jil)

Iris wakes up and sees me covered in blood but isn't as freaked out as the NPC women. Well.. It'd be bad to call them NPC's now... It seems they are A.I's. Wait... Why did an NPC just turn into an A.I?

"Oi.. Jil... Is there a program turning NPC's to A.I's?" (Ethos)

"No... There shouldn't be." (Jil)

"Well... One NPC turned into an A.I in the bunch of naked women you are leaning on..." (Ethos)

Jil blushes and gets up and Iris does too. They come near me and we start walking away. One of the women approaches me.

"Savior... What do you want us to do...?" (Woman)

"Follow us. We are going to the new city of Atlantis. I will give you a few coins at the entrance of it and a few temporary clothing so you can start again. You can also try your luck by going back to the place you were taken from..." (Ethos)

"Thank you Savior... We shall follow you to Atlantis..." (Woman)

The women get up and start following me. I notice I am dirty and ask Iris if she can do anything about it.

Iris casts a water spell on me what cleans all my clothing. It was actually a few waterballs but since it did no damage it felt like a shower. We keep walking towards Atlantis while talking.

We talk about the NPC and A.I thing until Jil remembers that the company had a plan to make the 90% gameplay turn into almost 95% by turning every NPC into A.I's by using an entire room-worth of server cores.

We also talked about my split-personality until we agreed never to talk about it again due to Jil being scared of thinking of my split-personality for too long.

"Well... We cleared the quest... Let's go back to the town. You girls need some new gear and you leveled up right?" (Ethos)

"Yeah. I leveled up twice!" (Iris)

"I leveled up three times!" (Jil)

"And I am already maximum level." (Ethos)

I start laughing and soon the girls follow aswell...

But I still cannot stop thinking about my split-personality...

At the bridge to Atlantis I make some leather clothing that isn't too fancy but covers everything for the women that were there before us. It seems this world is turning into a fully-functioning A.I world with no need for admins except taking care of events and glitches and such.

I also give the women a couple coins to buy new clothing and to find a new job to start over.

There are atleast... Thirty women who are following me except Iris and Jil. When we cross the bridge they start going everywhere after I show them the map. Most of them went towards the Shopping and Food districts though. To eat or find new jobs by cooking or looking over shops...

Me, Jil and Iris go to the guild and check in and get our reward and go to an Inn. In Inn's it is guaranteed to get a stat boost so a lot of players buy rooms in inns to get the temporary stat boost.

The girls go to 'sleep' aka just log off and I am left alone wondering about my split-personality till I fall asleep...

"Oi! Myself! You ain't asleep. Just open your damn eyes!" (???)

I open my eyes and see myself floating in mid-air with a perfect copy of myself except that it has violet hair and eyes that change colour every second.

"Huh? Who are you?" (Ethos)

"I am you, you are me. I am the Split-Personality of you." (Ethos v2)

"How did you come to existence...?" (Ethos)

"You remember the constant bullying because of your interest in manga, anime and light novels? That is the reason. The bullying, all of the mugging, all of the constant hatred towards you. The mugging isn't as important but the bullying and hatred towards you just because you were an Otaku... That made me! Well... Part of me. The other part of me is your desire of power and protection of all things precious to you. Not many people want protection and only power. I am the side that comes out when you are in combat... The side that is ready to kill. Ofcourse I know which people to kill and which people NOT to kill at all costs so don't worry about me killing Iris-chan or Jil-chan." (Ethos v2)

"Oi! I haven't gotten on the -chan level with them yet!" (Ethos)

"Coward. You could easily make them your love slaves if you wanted to! I mean... Iris already loves you and Jil isn't too far off either!" (Ethos v2)

"I want to see if they approach me first?" (Ethos)

"With that thinking you'll lose em." (Ethos v2)

"I won't. Also... Why haven't you contacted me until now... I've heard the click so many times but this is the first time I can talk to you... Well... My other self." (Ethos)

"That is because your desire to protect grew stronger and your lust for power less. You are the most powerful being so you have almost no need for power. You only have the desire to protect this world due to your duty as God. That gave me power aswell. Enough power to finally have a nice talk with you... Myself I mean... Ah it's confusing." (Ethos v2)

"Indeed. But the women described you as an insane person... You seem... Sane." (Ethos)

"Don't worry about it. I act like an insane person or some kind of joker in the other world because then it really seems like a split-personality and not just a sadistic side. I'm making life easy for you." (Ethos v2)

"Oh... So... Let's talk about all the things you did while I was well... Unconcious..." (Ethos)

"Sure. Let me tell you... Everything." (Ethos v2)

Me and... Me... Speak for a long while about the things my other self has done when the switch happens. Apparently he is actually a good guy but just is prepeared to take a life. It seems that if I were to take a life then my mind would break due to my current self's mental strength compared to my other self's.

My other self told me that I once accidentaly killed a bird by throwing a rock up in the air and I cried all day and even punched myself over it... My other self took that memory and made it dissapear from my mind into his mind. He can see everything I do but I cannot see what he does because of our mental strength difference...

I soon wake up and Iris and Jil are up aswell.

It is time for a new adventure.
