Riding her cyan eagle to the School of Paradeisos’ northern branch, Tomi was shocked to see so many dead bodies on the ground. She commanded her eagle to land and saw a dying Mads with her six year old daughter hugging her while weeping. “Mom, please don’t die”.

“It is alright darling, Tomi will look after you from now on”. Mads comforted her daughter before turning to Tomi she said, “Please treat my daughter as your own. Ensure that she is well looked after. Thank you for being my best friend. Tell Eagle I said hi and please warn him that his former flat mate Ann is out to get him and has become the bride of Black Thanatos”.

“I will not fail you. I will take care of your daughter”. That was all Tomi could speak while weeping. Her tears fell on Mads’ face as the brunette was lying on her lap.

“It looks like I am soaked in tears of both my best friend and daughter. I am glad we are still best friends till the end. I never regretted meeting you although we both did stupid things together”. Mads laughed.

“You always had a good sense of humour and are one of the most forgiving person, I have met”. Tomi complimented while taking out a tissue paper wiping blood off Mad’s lips which she had coughed out after Ann had stabbed her in the chest.

“I will be going to a better place soon. Don’t forget t”. Mads said. “I will see you there soon. As for you Marrisa, make Tomi’s life easy as she will be looking out for you from today onwards”.The petite brunette finally breathed her last.

“Rest in peace my best friend. I will take care of your daughter”. Tomi planted a kiss on the now dead Mad’s forehead before laying her on the floor. She took Birdy out of the hall before commanding her giant cyan eagle to burn up the dead bodies including the dead body of Mads which she dragged out into the backyard with the help of Marrisa.

Taking Mad’s six year old daughter with her on the cyan eagle, Tomi brought the little girl back to the School of Paradeisos’ main branch and into the unit which she shares with Eagle.

“I am back for my ride. Mads is dead and this is the last of her”. Tomi introduced Marrisa to Eagle and their daughter, Bondi. When her husband and her finally finished moaning the next day, she told him, “Mads also told me to inform you that your daughter Birdy has called her up to say hi and to watch out for Ann. She has reached a new level of evil and has become the bride of Black Thanatos”.

Tomi would join Eagle in the backyard while he was training Nathan, Norman’s older twin boy to command his eagle as well as sword fighting. While doing so, she kept an eye on Bondi and Marrisa who had become best friends and treated each other as if they were sisters.

Seeing the two girls play together brought up Tomi’s memories of the time she met Mads who had been her best friend since primary school. They both had been the most popular girls in Middle School and all the way up to the ballroom dance which Mads was the organiser and Tomi was the dancer. The memory of the stupid things they both did together would never be forgotten as well and this brought both laughter and tears to the blonde.

Never did Tomi knew she would be married to someone she actually once considered a loser and no hoper. It seems that she grew out of her like for guys like Jake and Edward after eighteen years of age.

Eagle came up to Tomi during break time from training to ask her what was going on. “I am just missing Mads and every time I see our daughters playing together, the memory of her will always be alive”.

“Believe me, Mads has always been a likeable person. Sometimes, she might be a tease but she is overall a fun person”. Eagle placed his right arm around Tomi’s neck while placing his right hand on her right shoulder. “We will never forget her. May we meet her again”.

“We certainly will”, Tomi replied as she rested her head on her husband’s right shoulder.

Nathan in the meantime played with the two girls saying, “Catch me if you can girls”. These words were enough to provoke Bondi and Marrisa to gang up on the older son of Norman.

“Norman, it is time for dinner now”. Mona who had come out from her home which was still in the main branch of the School of Paradeisos to the backyard to call her son.

“Eagle and Tomi. You and your two daughters are of course welcome to join us for dinner that is if you choose to accept this invitation”. Mona turned to Tomi and her husband.

“Of course we would like to. Wouldn’t we Eagle?”

“I don’t see why not. It is good to have friends and company”.

“By the way, Mona, Marrisa is the daughter of Mads and she is all that is left of her”. Tomi spoke up.

“I know. My husband has also been killed by Ann, a year earlier. I heard it on news that a dark entity had attack the School of Paradeisos’ northern branch”. Mona led the way to her home.

“At least they are in a better place and we will meet them again one day”, Tomi replied to Mona who was talking to both her and Eagle.

“We will indeed. Let’s enjoy our dinner as none of them would want us to moan for them for too long as they are already in a better place. Your husband has now become the leader of the Eagle riders in place of my husband and you being on married to him means you are going to lead alongside him. All the best to you both and I will always be here if any help is needed”.
