Chapter 6: The arrival of familiar faces.

Upon returning from his honey moon, Eagle adapted to life as a full time father, Eagle developed a strong trusting bond with his daughter. Birdie who was allowed to be herself revealed she resembled her father in many ways such as her love for animals especially birds. Everything seemed to be going smoothly and he felt blessed to have a daughter who is independent and obedient.

Mads moved in with him in their green accomodation from the School of Paradeisos.

“Your daughter is a miracle child”, Norman commented as Eagle was watching his daughter play with the other children.

“May she be a better person than me”.Heading towards his own class after waving goodbye to his daughter. “So, Norman what are we learning today?”

“Today we have a few new comers. You will be surprise to see some of them”.

“Who are they exactly. It seems you know something that I don’t”.

“It will be a surprise”.

Following Norman into the class, seeing three of his old school mates which included Jake gave Eagle a brief shock. His former bully was equally shocked and surprised.

Bart who was striking a conversation with Mads was shock to learn that Eagle is now her husband.

“Today, we have new comers to the class. I am glad the chairs are finally filled up”. The blue haired man smiled while looking around.

Looking around the class, Eagle discovered that every word Norman spoke was true. From the front to the back, all the seats were taken and there are now about a thousand people all together.“Wow, the class has increased in such a short time. This must be a miracle”.

“It is a miracle indeed. The other classes have also been filled out making me one of the main teachers which you guys also become provided you desire to”. Turning to the blackboard, Norman called out. “May I have the names of the new comers please? This is a very interpersonal environment. These who have any questions or just want to hang out”.

Class ended, a paranoid Eagle attempting to go out of class ahead of others was stopped by Jake, Bart, and Edward.

"Wait Eagle”, his former bully called out. “ I know we had a rough time in high school. It doesn’t have to be this way in the School of Parádeisos. Let’s be friends”.

Slowly turning around, Eagle turned around to see his former three tormentors smiling at him. Mads who was with Tomi walked passed Eagle and smiled and kissed him on the lips before walking out of the class.

“You do not need to be best friends with them immediately. I know you have gone through a lot but forgive them as you have been forgiven yourself”, the blue haired and blue eyed teacher who was still in the class encouraged Eagle to put his past behind him. “Please do it for your daughter”.

Taking a while, Eagle finally relented. “Alright guys, lets put the past behind us. Welcome to the School of Parádeisos”.

“Isn’t it great to see former enemies now become friends. We need to love our enemies”. Speaking with authority yet with gentleness, Norman, continued. “You three will be given an eagle’s egg each based on your favorite colors when you go to the Headmaster’s office after this and if you do not have accommodations of your own, we will provide them for you”.

Shaking hands with Eagle and Norman, the three friends left.

“How do you feel with you three former bullies joining the class?”Norman asked Eagle with a concern facial expression while looking outside the window.

“I have forgiven them but there is a bit of fear and distrust considering what Jake who had been my former best friend since middle school did”.

“It is alright. Trust takes time to return as long as you have forgiven them and moved on with your life. Don’t worry none of them will be sharing unit with you but Edward will be in the Green Accommodation. Bart and Jake will be in the Yellow and Red accommodation respectively. This will give them the opportunity to mix with others outside their clique group. They will have to learn to take care of the eggs which will be given to them”. Norman tried to reassure him.

Eagle left the class only to spot Jake, Bart, and Edward holding a red, yellow, and bright green egg each as they were walking pass him without even Eagle noticing.

Taking a look at the children’s class through a small window glass on the door and seeing his daughter having lunch with the other children, knowing she will be in safe hands, Eagle decided to had lunch with Mads and Tomi.

Heading out to the beach by public transport with his wife and former school mate, he ordered his favorite hot and spicy KFC chicken three piece feed.

“Enjoying your food I see”, Mads chuckled. "Some thing never change".

Turning to Tomi, Mads asked her how her red head daughter was doing.

“She behaves just like Edward but worst”.

“The Headmaster said we are able to tame all animals and so did Norman but it’s our children whom we must not neglect. Whatever we sow, we shall reap. This means, our children will be a refection of what we teaches them”.

“I have spoiled Myrtle too much. I never said no to her. Initially, I considered her actions to be cute but have not been able to put my foot down without her throwing a fit”.

“Spare the rod, spoil the child”. Mads giggled.

“I do not want to hit her.”

“There are other ways to discipline. Like following through with what you say, groundings, time outs, and removing a privilege. I have to do that with Birdie sometimes but she is generally a good girl”. Eagle interjected.

“You really are a good father. You seem to know how to get her in order”.

“That is after my life got in order thanks to the teachings of the Headmaster with Norman’s help”.
