《Cast Out》Inspirations (NOT A CHAPTER)

Sorry, not a chapter. Just wanted to post this so people know what stories some aspects of the story I rip off use are from. Also includes things which inspired other aspects of my story, and were not a rip off. Anything in question marks means that I've decided to use something from that story, but it hasn't come up in Cast Out yet.

There are, of course, other inspirations which have helped my story (or will in future chapters/books), but I won't say what they are or what stories they come from until we get to that point in the actual story. This is because it would be a HUGE spoiler for you guys if you saw it.
I want to take the time to thank the above for having written/translated the works that they've done. LOVE YOU GUYS!! (Completely platonic though, sorry)
Anyway, if you don't already know, Chapter 4: Part 1 will be out by June 14 at the latest. (Although it'll be out first on Wattpad, then here on royalroad, then lastly on Japtem. Simply going in order of the easiest site to post on, to the hardest.)
All the sites have good points though. Wattpad is the easiest to post chapters with, RoyalRoad is easier to post tables on, and Japtem has the best looking tables in my opinion

Leaves of Terranthir
DISCONTINUED - I won't be writing more of this fiction. Check out the latest post for a worlbuilding summary / final thoughts. Leaves of Terranthir is a gamelit blend of ARPG, action, fantasy, and slice of life. It's inspired in part by some of my favourite games, borrowing in themes, sense of exploration, and aesthetics from the Soulsborne and soulslike genre, mixed heavily with arpg itemization from Diablo/PoE style games. While many may remember their Soulslike experiences as nothing more than suffering, I personally loved the sense of progression, to prevail over challenges and monsters that seemed impossible to defeat at first.
