《The Man Who Got Dragged Into Another World》Chapter 19: Unexpected Encounter

"My disciple, here is my Power Source! You should absorb it and make it your own." Master Sima said those words and then threw the core to Luki. The core flew directly into Luki's mouth.
But Luki couldn't swallow it. He already lost all of his senses and would not realize that the core was already in his mouth. "Sir, can I enter too?" asked the person who recently came here.
"Hmm, you?" Master Sima then noticed the person. She had a straight, aquamarine hair color. Her eyes that looked at him was amber-colored and really attractive. "Why? The trial had already started by that young man who was my disciple."
Master Sima then sighed, he knew that his time was up. "Luki, my disciple. Sorry about my disapproval before. I really couldn't understand your reason to get stronger that quickly but if you have such a strong will to backed that up, I'm sure you will defeat the Evil God one day."
Then his body started to glowed and his leg started to disappear into many dots of light. Then he looked at her and said, "If he completed the second trial, explain the situation to him that I already was gone. Also, please accompany him for a while. His Power Source just started to form it seems. And the last, if he failed you can try this trial too."
Of course, the person was General Vera. She was secretly coming here in hope to obtain the so-called Ancient God's blood.

"Shiho, why are you showed gloomy expression on your face? That is not suitable for you!" said Vera that tried to comfort Shiho. In fact, Shiho just recently promoted to became vice-general when suddenly she returned with a gloomy expression covered her pretty and cute face.
"It's because I didn't try my best to save them. I....really unworthy of this position of mine" said Shiho with tears flowed on her cheeks. But Vera knew that it wasn't entirely her fault because she went undercover that time and should not show her true power or else someone recognize it!

Patted her shoulders, Vera said "After this, I will properly deal with those enemies scum to kneel down!" with a cold tone.
'What is this disturbing feeling? It's rather different from the disaster warning that my instinct usually told me. And I also had a feeling to come see the man that Shiho dragged here.'
Then Vera walked to the medical treatment camp. There, she saw a young man's corpse with a wound on his chest. He died not too long ago but she felt that feeling surge out. 'What's so special about him? He was the man that some of our scouts found in the middle of the road.'
She never thought highly of him so she disdainfully looked at this troublesome man. 'Not only he made Shiho cried but also didn't mention his whereabouts! Such a troublesome guy he is.'
But the more she looked at him the more she felt something was amiss. Suddenly she recalled the memory from her mother that tells her a story.
"Vera, did you know about Immortals?" asked her mother. "Mom, what is Immortal?" asked little Vera.
"Well, to be short they are living beings which cannot be killed until the judgment day comes. But the most general description of them are, they are the holder of [Immortal Decree]." her mother smiled at Vera.
"[Immortal Decree]? Mother, what is the function of that thing?" asked little Vera innocently. Her mother then patted her head and looked at Vera with her amber colored eyes and saying, "That is the thing that even the ruler of the world, we often called them God will take a fancy."
"Its function is even more amazing! First, you can learn the [Immortal Body]. Second, even if you die you will be sent back to the world you currently are......."

"Prepare for battle!" ordered Vera. The archers gave volley of shot one after another, making the enemies troops became a porcupine. While the infantry and cavalry charged toward enemies main formation.
Everything went smoothly on the first fifteen minutes before that event. From the sky, most of the color changed to red. After that, seven meteors came toward their position! "Retreat Everyone retreat for now!" most of the respective leaders from both sides announced their troops to retreat momentarily.
"What is that meteor's purpose?" Vera looked at that meteors with the cold gaze. The meteors then hit the ground, shaking the entire land nearby. It also created a shockwave that swept to all direction.
After the dust had been gone, Vera looked clearly at the new crater. From those craters, there were sounds of the beast! "What's happening?"
Then a 3.000 meters tall beast started to rise from the crater. Then it unleashed several dozens of spawns toward the soldiers from both sides. 'Is this the disaster that I feel?' thought Vera. The spawn's size was only half a meter size but the problem was the number of them all!
Each spawn then found a soldier to become a host. They entered the mouth, going deeper to their stomach and resides there to absorb and devour the nutrients from their host. The soldiers only felt a hot sensation from their stomach before it busted by that spawn.
The spawn grew instantly and the chaos they created were giving them enough time to make their form completed. Bipedal and had a tongue as long as a rope and had four eyes, that was their main characteristic.
Luckily for Vera, the crater was located nearer toward the Regal Kingdoms border than Kreig Kingdoms. But it would be the beginning of the tribulation.

After a minute, Luki's hand started to move. It's because that one minute was used to swallow and refine the core that Master Sima gave him. 'I can feel it, my Power Source!'
Luki still could not see but with his Sense Domain, he still could felt where the terracotta person was.
The terracotta person then strike again because they felt Luki was now conscious. "Eat this! !" with his strengthened muscle and his newly Inner Power, Luki swept both of terracotta person in one fell swoop.
The terracotta collapsed and suddenly four more appeared! "Really? Let's try something different!'
Luki, whose body was started to regenerate was grabbed a stick in his hand. But suddenly it turned into a greatsword that the blade was already rusty. "It's my turn to make you bastard a punchbag!"
Vera who saw him stared at him with a little respect. He still chose to fight even though his body already has so many wounds. This made her want to know more about him. 'He really is an interesting guy. Wait a sec.......'
When the regeneration repaired Luki's face, Vera could see his face. '.....no way. No way! He is already dead. I saw him myself so I cannot mistake him for someone else. Or if he had an identical twin?'
Many scenarios flashed in her mind but if the person she saw at the medical treatment camp and in the front of her eyes wees the same then there was only one conclusion. "I-Immortal!"

A-Live AI
The year is 2247. For almost two hundred years Sentient AI research has been banned. Everyone knew this, and yet no one has ever given up on finding the perfect setup for it. Restricted AI are rare, but possible to get ahold of if you have the money and the clout to get through the law for it. Especially when it deals with the military. Alfred Homis is an engineer and has spent the last three years working for the United Terran Military's Research and Exploration Department. Specifically to help build a 'shackled' AI who's prime directive was to explore potentially habitable worlds. Worlds that are far cheaper to colonize and add to the United Terran Directorate's fold than terraforming. During the AI's maiden voyage things go horribly wrong, taking Alfred Homis along for the ride. Thrown into a parallel universe where the laws of physics are just a little messed up, Alfred finds himself trapped inside the very machine he'd helped to build. Add magic, hostile fantasy creatures, and two different pantheons of 'Gods' to the mix and things get even more complicated. Oh, and an invasion between universes to boot. But that's just all in a days work though for Alfred, the AI Lord. Authors Note: Hi guys! Long time no see. And yes, I know that's all on me. But I blame life for that. Anyway, this is my new work, and I hope you guys enjoy it! The chapters are a little shorter than I'd previously posted in my other stories, but I cannot say that I have the same amount of time or energy to write them like that anymore. Sorry about that. Still, some warnings: There is cursing in this story. I am not going to edit it out. There will be sexual content later. Blood, gore and cruel depictions are all planned. If that isn't your thing, I'd suggest you turn back now. There is also my dry, and often not-so-funny sense of humor. And oh, it's all in first person gain. Haha. I just tend to write better that way. If none of that bothers you, then enjoy the read! Feel free to comment, point out mistakes, or make suggestions! Reviews are nice too, but please lay off the criticism until the story gets good and going. Thank you. Note 1: Some edits to the synopsis.

The System Slaves
Heroes selected from all races competed to prove their race worthy of living free. The Troll heroes failed... miserably. Their Race is paying the price. Most Trolls lost their sentience. This Troll did not, and now he must serve the system and try to prove his race worthy of redemption. Thing is, it's hard to save a race when you can't understand the squiggles that appear in your vision. It's even harder to save a race when you can't tell which thoughts are yours and which thoughts the system put in your head. And what do you do when you never loved Trollkind in the first place? .......................... Update Schedule: Two or more chapters a month. 1500+ words. I am a new writer so bear with me, correct my grammar, and point out things you want to add. I plan on finishing, it may take a while though. The cover isn't mine and isn't exactly the way I like it, I'll be on the lookout for something that fits better. ....... This is a Litrpg story, I kinda regret making it so, but what's done is done. The system is clunky and I forget stuff sometimes, don't hesitate to point out stuff that looks wrong or is wrong. There will be some cultivation aspects and some kingdom building later on.

I'm writing fiction. But I'm not a writer, I'm just a reader. :) P.s ------------------------------------------------- Story Progress: 1. Blurb is fulfilled on Chapter Three and Chapter Four 2. Story Arc One, The Savior is fulfilled on Story Arc Five 3. Yes, there is fighting scenes. Three Calamities have been Eliminated in Dandia -- The wide island. 4. The prologue is nearing to begin. 5. Too many conflicts. ------------------------------------------------- Past tense - When I just narrate a past without much actual actions. I mean like a news, or just telling or reporting the past. Present tense - Current event. And flashback with actions. I love flash fiction so world building is not on this story, like narrating a room, narrating a character's traits, etc. As possible, I want them to think, have their decision, etc. etc. etc. etc. Hallo guys, Help me locate my typos on Story Arc 5. I still don't want to edit Story Arc 1-4. I can't wait to reach story arc Chapter Six(I won't spoil). My outlines and very huge flowcharts are waiting. Sorry, about that, I can understand English without format so, each time I'm looking for typos I was hooked in my story and I didn't realize I forgot about them.
