《sHe: THE RISE OF THE NEW BREED (BOOK 1)》Chapter 18

A SHRINE WAS BUILT IN A PUBLIC PARK for late President Walter Rosewood — and the people of Columbus, Ohio paid their condolences, by placing flowers in front of the big photograph. The park overlooked the courthouse.
Roberta with a black eye stood in front of the bench — in that rare occasion, she wore a dress that morning. Her Aunt Flo was beside her when the verdict was passed by Judge Mills...
"Roberta Claire Jensen — on the grounds of self-defence, you are acquitted for the murder of Javier Monroe — when you tried to protect your sister, Laura Marie Jensen, the rape victim — from the deceased perpetrator, during the time of the intervention."
Roberta would also have to attend psychiatric counselling twice a week at University Harding Hospital, for the trauma she had gone through...
"Is that understood, young lady?"
Roberta nodded timidly and turned, and smiled at her aunt who placed her hand on the shoulder of her genteel, dressed niece.
"Good, you are a very brave girl, Roberta, remember that."
The woman judge concluded before she hit the mallet to hear the next case.
*
Roberta and her aunt walked in the hallway of the courthouse, and they saw a seven-foot, tall, Black giant of a man, in heavy chains approaching. Eight, puny-sized, female police officers, some in aviator shades were accompanying him.
He looked weak and pallid, dragging himself to walk, as he wheezed...
"Why am I here? I need to be in a hospital, not the damn courthouse. I need my medication, officer — take me to the hospital, I can hardly breathe."
"Shut up and walk, Parker!" The woman cop replied aloud to his protest.
Florence Jensen shielded Roberta by pinning her closer to the wall — to let the prisoner and cops passed them...

The Black man was agitated and his voice boomed...
"No! I will not tolerate this discrimination — I am really sick and I insist right now, that I see a fucking doctor!"
A policewoman used her baton to jab Parker's back hard and barked at him...
"Walk, you dumb Nigger!"
He turned back and elbowed the cop, and she was sent flying backwards with a bloody erupted nose.
The amuck man cried out...
"You pigs! You will fucking pay for this!"
The rest of the policewomen drew out their batons and struck the handcuffed Black man who was now on a rampage, slamming at them. Parker was in a rage, he hurled the cops around like rag dolls — one of them fell beside Roberta, who was squatting on the floor, clinging onto the screaming Florence Jensen...
A cop on the floor shot a Taser which hit the giant's leg.
Parker cried out in pain, but he placed his forehead on to the wall to maintain his balance, with electrical probes sticking on his thigh. Two other cops expertly use their baton to hit Parker vigorously on the kneecaps, until he dropped with his face on the floor.
More pint-sized, female cops jumped on him, to keep him down by further pounding at him in his back, shouting plebian racial slurs at him...
"Please, I don't want to die! I just want to see a doctor!"
The injured and sickly Black man pleaded aloud to the uniformed aggressors...
Roberta felt a similar rush, like her first roller coaster, ride back in her hometown at the Wellsville carnival...
It was both frightening, yet very thrilling...
She now yearned to be like one of those policewomen someday — holding the baton and clubbing the skull of her next kill — till it split open...
Even though, the act of her first killing — at her age of nine, will always be her sweetest.
