Explanation regarding the types of races here.
Monsters- are those animals that have mana core inside them. They aren't really smart and only act on their instinct. Can use an innate magic(Magic based their trait or race). They grow in intellect over time and transform in their human form but it takes for thousands of years for it to happen. (The MC is also a monster before he grows all of his tails).
Animals are animals nothing special.
Beastman- are those people that are monsters in the first 15 years or more depending on their race and then they can get their status panel afterward that's why they are ostracized and treated as monsters by the major races only the free city they are allowed to go without being captured as a slave.
***************
A dragon the size of approximately 30 meters with light blue scales a curved horn on its head flew atop the volcano despite its discomfort towards the heat he still flew down. A dragon's head with enormous size immediately emerged from the lava compared to the red dragon the blue dragon looked like a toddler in comparison. Thick red scales shining with soft light like that of a ruby, four huge horns two curved backward and the other two forward accompanied with numerous small horns from atop its head to his jaw.
"Chief, the heroes attempted again to steal an egg of Hydra again"
"Those bastards still didn't learn their lesson huh". Despite its lack of emotion in his voice, you can see that it definitely was not. Of course, as a fellow inhabitant, he would care and seeing the major races treat them like a treasure trove infuriated him.
"And Alfius-sama has awakened from his slumber," said the dragon with a deep but respectful voice.
"Hmm?, and who might be this Alfius" replied the Red dragon with its aged and strained voice.
"It's his highness chief, its the new name of his highness he also didn't go back to slumber like he did before and it seems like he also has taken a slime as a pet, Fafnir seems to be also close to him and minotaurs now are under his protection".
The Red Dragon widened its eyes slightly in surprise, of course, he would after hundred thousand years the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox recluse itself after the war.
Usually, the Nine-Tailed Demon fox goes back to its slumber after a week and wake up after a century or more. Even dragons only sleep a year then wake up.
"Hoh, it seems that he finally recovered"
Despite the curiosity of the blue dragon, he couldn't get himself to ask. And as if the Chief of the dragon tribe read his mind he smiled knowingly while the blue dragon coughed in embarrassment.
"You may go now"
"Yes"
Giving the blue dragon a last glance he submerged again while contemplating regarding the news. Hmm, it seems that we can thank our savior now. The last time he saw the Demon fox it was emitting an oppressing aura chasing away all other monsters and animals. It was clearly devastated after all it was the most known as a gentle beast in the forest but after that, it was releasing a depressing aura. So he and the other dragons decided to leave him be for the moment. But the Demon fox continued its long slumber for centuries only waking up for a week and it doesn't seem fond of talking to them.

*****
Watching my house that looked like a greek temple except with its size larger and with a larger entrance so that I can fit my large body perfectly, although I can transform into a humanoid form I still prefer in my true form for the time being. I can't help but smirk causing them to shudder. I can't help but feel giddy lowering my head as I tried to control my emotion but it was useless.
Alfius: "KUHAHAHAHAHA!"
With my eyes that turned red from my excitement and along with my creepy laugh and my aura, scaring the shit out of them. Looking at the trembling Minotaurs and the goblin Gor as I realized my blunder I immediately controlled my emotion receding my aura to normal as the color of my eyes return to gold.
Everyone: *tremble*
"Ah. *cough* I'm sorry for my outburst, I just can't help but be happy seeing my new home, you did a good job Gor next time I needed an engineer you will be the one I'm gonna call".
Gor: "It was my honor, Your Majesty, hearing your praise is the biggest reward I could hope for"
But your eyes betray your words Gor I know what your thinking. Haaah. Gor requested my fur back when I ask what is the reward he wanted and he answered it was my fur after long deliberation I agreed to his request as long he wouldn't use it to harm me and the inhabitants of the forest as I know that my fur is good material for magical artifacts.
And the fur he's going to get are the ones that have fallen so its a win for me I don't have and I don't really plan to destroy my fur. And the Minotaurs refused to accept a reward saying that they only wanted to repay the favor of having them allowed to live in my territory after losing their home. Ah. what a shame I even plan to give them a piece of mana crystal as a reward they said it was valuable. After giving the reward to Gor who was smiling ear to ear who left while practically skipping away. While I said to the Minotaur give my regards to Ceria. Who was busily helping in work in their tribe.
Looking again at my palace I felt satisfied after all it was one of the things that I desire to have in a fantasy world at least that's what I remember from my past life. And it was okay to enjoy a little bit of luxury right.
"Rimuru come here"
Beckoning my friend Rimuru as I stretch my lazy body I lay on my temporary bed made up of leaves. Haaah what a poor God I don't even have a proper bed. Closing my eyes gently while feeling the chilly wind brushing gently my fur I feel warm in contrast to the cold weather outside.

--Ceria POV--
Her parents and elders said that she should be extremely respectful while speaking to the Demon Fox, they said that he was actually the reason why the forest is still the haven for the Beastman and monsters despite the numerical advantage and technological advantage of the major races. He was the only known living 'God' in the world, unlike those demi-gods that are worshipped in the religions of the major races.

Outside no one really knew that the legendary demon fox is still alive only those demi-gods know because they feel an enormous amount of divinity that only those who touched the border to becoming a god can feel it was no secret for the demi-gods hailed as 'Gods' in their respective religion.
Remembering the rampage of the Hydra she can't help but shake in fear witnessing their homeland became a poisonous swamp trees withered fast in a blink of an eye they had to keep running until they are outside the death zone created by the Hydra all their belongings are left behind.
They are all stricken in grief and despair.
Until Red Dragon happened to pass by and flew down in front of us everyone became rooted in the spot despair can be seen in our eyes until she spoke.
"It was me Fafnir"
Despite her monotone voice, it was like the voice of an angel for us who was struck by calamity with no left to go.
She can be frequently seen flying in the forest visiting different tribes so everyone grew accustomed to her. She treated everyone equally and became friends with everyone in no time.
She suggests that we should seek the protection of the Demon Fox. Everyone looks at her incredulously.
Of course, we knew who he is, he was king of the kings there are legends about him outside the forest and even though the major races did not believe about the existence of him but for us, he existed.
Our elders often tells us stories regarding the war a hundred thousand years ago and always reminds us that he was the existence that almost driven the major races extinct and protected the forest. Obviously, we were skeptical but Fafnir who happen to hear the story verified it.
"My grandfather Ladon one of the oldest dragons often told us about stories of the demon fox during the war in ancient times".
Since then everyone truly believes about the existence of the demon fox and Fafnir often tells us stories with more details regarding the legend. While recalling stories our elders and Fafnir continued to talk.
Elder [ But is it really okay, for thousands of years no one dared to venture deep in the center of the forest. And His highness might not take it kindly].
The elder speak in a quiet voice, you can hear in his tone that he was truly afraid mentioning about the king of the forest.
There are stories like the Honey bear a ferocious monster rank A in strength despite its sweet and seemingly harmless name running with terrified expression after entering the depths of the center of the forest.
"I've spoken about him weeks ago and he seems to be kind"
Everyone became dumbfounded seeing her dreamy expression. That emotionless Fafnir actually knows how to change her expression!. But then her words dumbfounded us.
Elder [ I-s that true did you truly meet him!]
The elder said with bulging eyes while his mouth hanging open truly a comical expression but no one laughed at him because everyone was also astonished.
Fafnir- [Of course it's true, then excuse me for a moment I have to go back to our tribe.]
After that, she immediately flew without waiting for us to answer.
Elder [ I-I see it seems we have to gamble if we don't want the Lion tribe and the other neighboring tribe to take advantage of our plight]
Everyone agreed and makes haste towards the direction of the center of the forest.
We've arrived at the center of the forest at last. We thought that there must be strong monsters in the outskirts but it was actually relatively safe except for few encounters with rank S in strength in our journey but they were taken care of our warriors with the same rank. We we'rent an elite tribe for nothing.
As we continued to walk all of sudden we were petrified on the spot despite my mind ordering my body to move. My blood went cold, I sweated coldly while my eyes enlarged in an almost impossible way I can't even blink feeling that I would die if I moved even a muscle.
Then the pressure immediately vanished in a second even though it feels like eternity, in front of us is the most beautiful being I have seen in my life, a fox with a snow-white fur and nine tails on its back swinging slowly, our elder immediately went forward and give praises but it seems that the His highness wasn't happy.
"*siiiigh* alright alright stop it already I know you want something from me, so what is it really". His highness said with an annoyed tone after their talk he asked who will be coming with him as a guide even now I still don't know where my courage came from to raise my hand.
After witnessing the battle between Hydra and Demon fox Alfius it expanded her horizons seeing the aftermath of the battle dumbfounded her even though the two never really fought seriously.
Ever since that day she trained arduously hoping one day she also at the very least have a fragment of that kind of strength.

ARMOR
I was created as the ultimate dungeon trap: a living suit of armor that devours any adventurer who dons me. My master created me for his entertainment, leading adventurers to ruin and betraying them at the last moment. This time will be no different. Or so I thought. Now I'm living the life of an adventurer. Hopefully, my companions won't realize I'm not who, or what, they think I am. *Now updating Tuesdays and Thursdays Additional tags I couldn't include: Romantic subplot This story is meant to be a book rather than a serial, there will eventually be an ending. It is also my first book length work so while I intend to do my best, mistakes and issues will occur.

Embrace the Blade [Drafts 1&2]
James Ransom grew up unable to do the simplest of life’s tasks. Legs were malformed; he was in a wheel chair as long as he could remember. Suffering from a severe form of muscular exhaustion making him unable to use his hands for long despite his resolve to fight through it. All the challenges facing him he still was able to enjoy reading and video games; but a tragic car accident will change his life forever and perhaps he will be given the opportunity to reincarnate into another world. Special thanks to Mikaelle for the Synopsis. This is my first book/fic so constructive critisism would be very nice. Expect a lot of grammatical errors but hopefully not too many spelling errors. Explanation for the tags; Action/Adventure/Fantasy: These don't really need an explanation, Comedy: I'll try to be funny hopefully I won't fail miserably, Romance: I like romantic sub-plots, LitRPG: No explanation needed but I am using my own system, Reincarnation/Summoned Hero: Not sure which one applies here I'm inclined to think both so I put both, Reader Interactive: I put this one here for my own amusment I'll allow everyone to help create the MC's love interest and maybe a few other things we will also hold a few contests.. Male Lead: self explanitory, Magic: Also easy, Strong Lead: Think of this as more of a weak-to-strong tag the MC will be OP but not till later in the story. Warning: Since this fic is labeled as 'Strategy' I believe that the readers should know as much as possible about the situations presented in the story so they can reach their own conclusions about how a fight could have been won or lost. That means: there are a lot of information dumps early on. I don't know how long I'll be able to write this fic but I promise to keep my few readers informed in case I decide to drop it or something.

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
