《Perfect Blood》Run Erhart Run

“Did you just say that you want Erhart.” Confirming that he has not miss-heard Jorah asks the man.
“Yes, you did not mishear what I just said.”
Jorah walks back two steps from the man. His eye ducts slowly hang downwards, his breathing becomes more and more unsteady, his body starts to shake lightly, along with both of his hands clenching into fists. If he is just a father, he will make sure that in all his powers, that his children will not be taken away from him. But, now he is not just a father, he is also the village’s leader, he cannot put his personal interest in front of the village’s survival or possibly the survival of the last pure [Human] sanctuary on this land.
As, another [Hero] had not been born for hundreds of years now. [Human] are not like what they were hundreds of years ago. It feels quite funny to Jorah as that during the [Human]’s [Age of Heroes]. When there were hundreds or even thousands of [Heroes] guarding the interest and the safety of [Human] race, that time the [Human] were not only ranked at the top amongst the ten great races, they were even being seen as gods to many small races. But now, without the leadership of [Heroes] for hundreds of years, [Human] loses their former glory and pure blood [Human] are treated as merely tool for breeding by the other powerful races. Tools used to neutralise the negative effects of their [Mix Bloods].
Jorah’s body begins to shake more and more vigorously. His face reddens, rage and anger seems to catch up to him. The gold helmet man faintly smiles seeing Jorah like this.
“Do as you please.” Jorah says, turning around and walking away from the man. Throwing down another sentence as he leaves, “He is not my son anymore, he now is banished from the village. No matter what he does fom now will be all his responsibility and will not in any way links to the village. And please do leave in the first light, tomorrow.”

Watching Jorah gradually disappears from his view. The man lightly bites his lips “Clever bastard.” The man murmurs to himself.
………
“WHY?! WHY DID YOU BANISH ERHART! HE IS JUST A CHILD! WHY CAN’T YOU JUST REFUSE HIM” Amelia shouts to Jorah, drops tears streaming down from her eyes.
Jorah locks the door behind him as he drags Amelia into the house. He did not say any words that justifies his action, he simply says, “Do he looks and act like he is a child?”
“NO, BUT HOW CAN HE SURVIVE WITHOUT THE VILLAGE? ONCE HE ENTRES [The First City] HE WILL BE CAUGHT AND SOLD OUT AS [Blood Slaves]” Amelia begins to lose herself, after losing John, she did not expect that she will also lose Erhart too.
“Who says that he is going to [The First City].”
“What?”
“He will be going into [The Five Finger Mountain].”
Amelia lowers her head, she walks to Jorah, raises her hand and slaps him in the face. She did not say another word. She did not even look Jorah in the eyes again. She opens the door and walks out.
After she leaves, Jorah also reaches his limit, he collapses onto the ground, smashing the floor with his fist as hard as he can.
“I AM USLESS!”
“I AM WEAK!”
“I CAN NOT PROTECT MY FAMILY!?”
“I AM NOT A MAN!”
“I SOLD MY FAMILY AWAY!”
He continues even when a layer of skin is scratched off, even when bloods start to dripping of his hand. Lightly laying on the outside of the room Amelia hears all that.
……..
Near Erhart’s forge. An underground tunnel that goes through the mountains and extends right into the depth of [Five Finger Mountains] can be seen. It is hidden behind a huge rock and was dug out by Erhart using his Sword Aura. This tunnel is overall triangular, designed to be as stable as possible. During the construction, Erhart positioned the hardest pine wood logs he could find as supports every twenty metres or in the tunnel. Granting it the ability to withstood strong force. He had always thought of this tunnel as an escaping route for the villagers and himself when push comes to shove. He never expected that someday, it also be the route he uses to leave this village forever. Erhart always knew that one day he will be forced into the world of {Cuood}. But he never expected it to be like this, “Banished”. Erhart looks back at the direction of village one last time, deep in his heart he knows that he is becoming more and more attached to this place everday and rather stay here forever. In this village, he sees something that he never seen before in his old world. He sees the pureness of the human heart, he sees that human are not necessarily self-centred all the time, he sees that one do not necessarily need to have material possessions in order to be and stay happy. He sees something beautiful.

“Thank you and Goodbye.” Erhart whispers. slings his bag onto his shoulder and picks up his sword. But just before he walks in, in the corner of his eyes he sees a shadow running towards him.
“Oh, Amelia why are you here, it’s late you know?” Erhart says, with a smile on his face, under the moon light he sees Amelia running towards him. He did not dare to look her in the face, as he do not want to see her cry again.
To his surprise Amelia is not there to beg him to stay or say farewell. Instead she shouts to him,
“Run Erhart! RUN!”
After the phrase, she said nothing, she did not allow time for Erhart to ask further question. She turns around and runs away once again. Leaving Erhart there confused.
