--- Morning in a Cave in the middle of Meridien Forest ---

I got a short rest in the cave near our village as usual, yesterday fight really is easier than the skirmishes that usually occurred, but still, I've got exhausted after that fight.

"huh?"

Since I've evolved into goblin champion, I can sense the aura of mana. Every living creature has mana, and they will knowingly or unknowingly emit a small amount of it every day, which is why I believe this aura can be used to declare the ownership of a land or territory.

It might be because I was tired last night, but, right now I can sense an unknown aura lingering in this cave. It's faint but I can sense it. It's not the usual aura from those living in this forest such as, bear, boar, or even wolf, it's some other creature. But, I believe it's not from ogre, well, ogre is about two or three times bigger than me, they won't fit in this cave. I just hope the owner of the aura does not have any malicious intent. Well, since there really is nothing out of ordinary, I guess it's nothing to think about, at least for now.

Then I continue my journey to check the destination for our new village location.

--- south-western part of Argent Mountain ---

I have investigated the new location, which is north from our village, on the side of the mountain. This mountain is ruled by those Argent birds and they made their nest on the top of the mountain, which is why I tried to look for some place on the mountain but not to high. After all, the higher we go the higher the risk.

We usually live in one place for about 1 month to 1 year, depending on our situation, and we have been living in Meridien forest for about 3 months. The forest is quite a good place to live, but since the ogre has move to the forest, we should move. And this Argent mountain should be a good place to live for a while, since there are less enemies.

"There should be nothing wrong with this location after all."

Yeah, there is also no trace of strong creature around here, of course the toughest one is Argent bird, but there are also snake and apes. It will be a bit harsher than before, but we should be able to manage.

After investigating the surrounding of the area, I go back to the village.

It's getting late, the darkness makes it hard to move. After all, it's easy to get lost in the forest if we have no sight. Well, I'm already in the cave anyway. We won the fight against the Serpent with no casualties, and the new location seems like a great place to live in. I hope they are ready to move once I got back.
