《The Road Of A Myth》Prologue

In one of the many countries on earth, in an ordinary low-class school, one class of students had stayed after school to clean up the halls
Why would they be doing the janitor’s job? Well off course because it was their punishment for sneaking out during lunch break to buy some games, at least a few of them did anyway
“I hate this all for one mentality the teachers have, two guys sneak out and the whole class gets punished this is just unfair”
One particular big man said to the rest of the students, he seemed to be out of place when placed around these teenagers who were 18 to 19 years old, probably because he had failed two years in a row
“C’mon jack you can’t blame us for that when you requested a game yourself, if it wasn’t for us you wouldn’t have gotten a copy of the New Halo series”
A punk looking fellow talked back to the big boy named jack, but before the situation heated up one of the girls in the corner berated the both of them with her sharp tone
“You two be quite, almost all the boys sent for those copies, if anything it is us girls who got the short end of the stick, we got nothing and now were stuck with you guys for a whole hour after school”
More and more people started giving their opinions on the matter, some chipped in a little and some remained quite withholding their comments to themselves, or totally didn’t listen at all
‘I guess those ice cream cones that you were eating weren’t the ones that bust us out?’
Shun was one of the few that withheld his comment as he knew it would only fan the fire, the last thing he wanted was to drive them into a more heated conversation causing even more delay in the cleaning

“If you girls don’t like spending time with us that much just leave we can clean this ourselves”
One particular slim guy with glasses on retorted to the girl at the helm of the girls, his comment though received cold and annoyed gazes from the girls while the buy outright told him to shut up, the last thing they wanted was to clean the mess themselves when it was the girls fault they were exposed
‘Haaah these guys are really just big children’
Shun thought to himself as he mopped away, he was a mature person for his age group, and he was on the quiet and rational side, so he saw their childish behavior beneath him, but he also knew that he must endure it and help them clean as he had actually been one of them boys that ordered a copy of them game, his pastime was reading books and gaming so he couldn’t help but request one for himself
Rumble~
“Hmm?”
“Huh? What’s going on?”
“Where is that noise coming from?”
Everyone stopped mopping and turned their attention to the surroundings trying to make out where the weird sudden vibration sound came from, they looked at each other but no one had an answer
“The ground!”
One boy with red hair named Rekka pointed out, and true enough the ground started shaking, ensuing screams from the students
“An earthquake!”
“Hurry to the classroom! Use the tables for cover!”
Rekka lead the students to the classroom, his calm voice guided the students out of their initial panic, and soon all of them were under the tables in their classroom
But before anyone could heave a sigh of relief another weird phenomenon popped up
Wennnnn~
Lines of light emerged from the ground, they were connected weirdly forming a weird structure that floated up and started expanding, once it encompassed the entire room another structure made of light emerged and the two hastily closed toward each other, disappearing with all the screaming students within
….. Moments after their disappearance a figure appeared in the sky above the school, its sharp gaze pierced through the walls in search of clues, but after finding no trace of the students it shrugged and waved its hand, collapsing the school into ruins before disappearing

Re:Hammer
Your average Reborn Game System story, similar to The Gamer and Solo Leveling. Written for fun rather than novilization like the others, so it is smaller and less intense. It is set in an AU Warhammer (based on a slightly modified version of Warhammer Fantasy's End Times. (Modified because the real setting was a catastrophe. There will be no exploding moons or beating the God Of Indulgence because they overindulged, and no Slaans fucking off to space. People shall use their brains and not just "lol cuz I can" bs like Todbringer thinking the end of the fucking world was the best time to go persue you interracial Yaoi rivalry with a Beastlord). So you might notice names and events but don't expect it all to go the same way. And the Main Character is not the only Player in this game~ Sequel found here. https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/26444/rehammer-the-hammering
