《the dungeon that made me》chapter 7

The dragon looked at us like we were ants that he had to dispose of. I never knew he could talk that took me by surprise but it didn't change anything. The plan was to distract it while 500 or so skeletons rush after its reverse scale. They all rushed it and as it spat out fire their bones melted one by one and with every push we were closer while distracting it Sasha took the 500 skeletons to attack from the blind spot and then it swung its tail. All the skeletons went flying. The cunning dragon knew I was watching it the entire time. It purposefully revealed his reverse scale to bait me in and then it smiled. Then it released its full magical power. It was so dense it was sickening the floor began to melt just because of his magical power alone. While looking me dead in the eye smiling cheek to cheek he says HERE IS MY RVERSE SCALE GO ON TRY TO HIT IT. I was too scared to move and I couldn't think straight. My mind was blank. So using magic it grabbed the sword I had made and then used it to attack it’s reverse scale. The sword broke on impact the dragon bursted out in laughter it’s laughter echoed around the dungeon. Then it said EVEN IF YOUR PUNNY LITTLE PLAN WORKED YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SCRATCH MY SCALES. It broke out in laughter then it said HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO REPEAT THIS TO UNDERSTAND YOU CAN’T DEFEAT ME. OOPS I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO SAY THAT WHAT DOES IT MATTER ANYWAY YOU WILL DIE SOON.
I began to get another headache. All the memories began to flow and everything started coming back. All those repeated attempts watching Sasha die, losing to the dragon, watching Sasha die, losing to the dragon. Over and over again this was my 7000th attempts everytime i died I lost my memories and started again. Everytime a little of my powers would carry over to my next life. In one life I was a magic swordsman, in one I was a necromancer. In one life I had a family with sasha. We had 2 kids. Whenever I had settled down and lived happily the dragon would come and kill me. All these memories flooded into me, all my past skills all came back to me. I tried to attack the dragon but when I regained consciousness we were back where it all began in front of the light.

The Djinn's Price
Albek Shokarov, a teenager struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, unwillingly enters into a contract with an entity he calls the Voice. Something changes inside him on that day, and he soon discovers that he wields a power that gives him a leg-up on the competition—though it comes at a price. Albek soon learns that the Voice isn’t the only being with an interest in him. He will soon question everything that he thought he knew about himself and his family as he is drawn deeper and deeper into a web of deceit and evil intentions. We all have a breaking point. Some may be pushed more than others, but everyone has a limit. These are the threads binding us to our identity that, once pulled taut, can't go any further without snapping. When every last thread is cut and we are left to face ourselves in a mirror, will we even recognize the person standing there? This is a tale of loss, of the powerless achieving power, of gods and men, and of the hatred and ambition that propels the founding of a legend. This is a tale of revenge. Either Albek will break his chains, or they'll break him. Updating intermittently.

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
