《the dungeon that made me》Chapter 10

We had searched the dungeon for so long but we haven't seen anything that would help us kill the dungeon. That's when it hit me that dragons in myths hoard gold and legendary items so if there is something that could kill the dragon it would be in the dragon's den. We would use ourselves as bait to draw in the dragon while my skeletons searched its house. I wanted to take the dragon by surprise. I didn't want it to know I still had my memories back. Using my necromancy I could control one of my skeletons from a distance like it was my own body. In the dragon's den it was very dark. I used light magic to brighten up the room. When a room lit up it was like I was in a whole new place. It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold. We walked deeper into the den until we reached two paths. One side was very hot and the other was the same temperature. I went into the hot place and then I sent the other skeletons to the other side. Two steps in then the magic canceled and I lost contact with the skeleton. It was either the skeleton died or there was an anti magic circle that was placed there. All I know is that it alerted the dragon because it stopped attacking the house and started flying back to it’s house at full speed. I knew that if the dragon got back to its den then my plan would be all over. I sent all the skeleton that was around to attack the dragon. Sasha and I rushed out of the underground base and immediately attacked the dragon. We needed to stall the dragon for long enough we knew we couldn't kill the dragon so I used magic to attack the dragon. While Sasha used her dragon scale axe to attack it. The dragon pretty much ignored the attacks from us except from the once that could hurt it. We were barely able to distract it for 10 minutes. The skeletons put all the stuff in there in the inventory and we ran away. The dragon flew into its den completely ignoring the skeletons and ran into the hot room. We returned to the underground room. I immediately erased the tracking magic that the dragon was using to track us. Being able to scare that dragon put a smile on my face. When we got to the forge in the underground base I immediately began to look through the spatial magic. I was looking for something that could kill the dragon. The dragon had lots of stuff from gold to diamonds to rare gems; everything that was rare he had it. I rumbled through the space for about thirty minutes but there was nothing strong enough to kill the dragon. I was angry. I couldn't hold back my anger and I still couldn't kill the dragon. I couldn't hold back my anger and my mana began to spread all over the room. I was filled with kill intent. I was so angry I couldn't control myself. Then a bright light lit up behind me. It was just like the light before I got teleported. I ran towards it to see what it was. It was coming out of a huge golden box and it seemed to be reacting to my mana. I started adding more mana to it and started absorbing my mana over and over again. It kept on doing this for 30 minutes. It took 75% of my mana for it to finally stop. After it stopped absorbing my mana it started making a gear-like sound. After a few seconds the light came back before I knew it I was teleported to another place.

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.

Superior Era
How would you react if you found yourself unable to sleep? Not just for one day, or two days, or even three days, but a more permanent time span, like the rest of your life? That’s exactly the predicament Dario finds himself in and he’s thoroughly vexed by it. After all, what sort of sane person would want to miss out on sleep? A madman, that's who. It’s especially worrying considering how he lives in a world filled with fantastical monsters, deadly beasts, and 'Superiors' supposedly protecting the interests of humanity. Sleep is quite the necessity under those circumstances. Life is tough for an ostracized kid, but Dario quickly realizes that his wakeful nights are more blessing than curse, as there seems to be quite a few advantages in not having to sleep... Join Dario as he climbs the ranks of superhumans, uncovers hidden truths, travels the world, and discovers abilities he never before thought possible. This is a tale of superpowered/superhero-like individuals set in a dangerous fantasy world with hints of GameLit elements. Features MC with abilities deemed unique to the world and can disregard the need for sleep at no cost to himself. No Harems. Current Release Schedule: 3-5 chapters per week. (Slower updates for holiday season) First few chapters are fairly short, but the rest will average around 2.5k words.
