《Unholy Seven》Chapter 16: Proof of the Pact

It's 8:30 in the morning, and my team and I head downstairs to go to class. Sure enough, Sofie and her team are right by the door, waiting for us. All eight of them bow their heads.
“Good morning master and mistresses,” they say in unison.
This really creeps me out. “Can you guys please not do that. I'm not comfortable with you guys addressing me as master. I know we sealed a contract, but we are on equal footing. Please, call me Chris.” I flash them a smile. “And please raise your heads, we're all friends here.”
Sofie and her teammates raise their heads. “As you wish, mas..., I mean, Chris,” Sofie says.
Suddenly, the klaxon starts to blare. Then, the all too familiar announcement comes over the loudspeaker.
“Attention all students and staff members, incoming demon attack. All combat-qualified students please report to your designated areas to help with evacuation and defend the area.”
I look at both teams and put on my game face. “Alright, you guys, you all know your positions. Sofie, take your team and deploy them as you see fit.”
“Got it,” everyone says in unison.
We all raise our auras and summon our weapons. I look over at Sofie, and through her lavender-pink aura, I see her weapon. It's an elegant rapier, but not in the traditional sense. The blade is its usual length, but it's a bit wider, perfectly made to make cutting blows as well as thrusting blows.
I'm the last one to summon my weapon. “Pierce the sun with eternal twilight; Shadow Fang.” In a flash of light, Shadow Fang appears on my right hip.
Sofie gazes upon Shadow Fang with wide-eyed amazement. “Wow, is that your unsealed sword?”
I breathe a heavy sigh. “Unfortunately, no. Shadow Fang is a supplementary blade. But, it is a powerful weapon nonetheless. Besides, you've seen this sword before. I pointed it at you and Adam when we first met.”
Sofie slaps the side of her head and chuckles. “Stupid me, I forgot about that.”
A portal opens, and a demon steps through. She lets out a deafening banshee scream. She stands close to nine feet tall, with armor covering her vital areas. She is wielding a spiked ball with a long chain.
“Jeni, Hanneke, has everyone been evacuated? Jeni, do you have protective barriers in place?” I ask over the comm link.
“Yeah,” both girls confirm.
“Barriers are secure.” Jeni reports.
“Good.” I copy. “Jesi, do you have a clear line of sight on the target?”
“Eyes on target, ready to fire on your word.” Jesi confirms.
I look over at Sofie and overhear her giving commands to her team over the comm link as well.
“Sofie,” I start to ask, “is your team ready?.”
Sofie nods her head. “Oui.” she says.
“Good,” I say. “Link your team's comms to mine so we can synchronize our attacks.”
“Understood.” Sofie confirms.
I unsheathe Shadow Fang and get down into a ready stance, swinging the blade behind me. “Alright, everyone, commence the attack!” I call out over the comm-link.
Both teams charge at the demon with a hellish fury. Our teams ranged fighters fire off shots at her, piercing her armor, but only causing minor damage. Our mages cast spells hoping to do even further damage to her armor, but to no avail.

The demon swings her spiked ball at us and it lands on the ground, causing a large crater. Some of our teammates get knocked to the ground, but fortunately, their auras help protect them, so they only suffer moderate damage.
I call out to the injured teammates, “Is everyone okay?”
They all respond with, “Yes.”
Satisfied that everyone is okay, I charge forward with the remaining teammates. The demon pulls on the chain and the spiked ball pops out of the ground. It sails past us and starts to orbit her head as she swings it around again.
“Get ready to dodge!” I call out to the unified team. The demon sends the spiked ball at us again and we split ranks to avoid the heavy sphere. It lands between us, but fortunately, no injuries.
I leap into the air and get ready to swing Shadow Fang at her, but she drops the chain, catches me in her arms, and begins to bear-hug me. I can feel my ribs start to crack under the pressure and let out a blood-curdling scream.
“MILLION! STINGER! PULSE!” I hear a voice yell out behind me. I crane my neck around just enough to see Sofie leaping into the air. The thrusting movements of her rapier are so fast, I can barely keep with them. The technique is damaging enough to the demon, that she drops me and I fall to my knees, gasping for air.
Sofie lands right next to me. “Master, are you alright?”
I cough and wheeze. “Yeah, fine. Just need a sec to recover.”
Sofie nods. “As you wish, master. I'll hold this bitch off long enough for you to compose yourself.”
Sofie leaps back at the demon, only to get punched to the side. Her body ragdolls through the air and lands eighty yards away from me.
The demon draws out a long, curved dagger and charges at Sofie. I use shadow-step to try and catch up, but my sleight hesitation to use it didn't allow me to do so. Before I know it, the demon plunges her dagger into Sofie's chest, and I see Sofie spit up blood. The whole scene seems to play out in slow motion as the demon pulls the blade out of Sofie's chest.
“NNNNOOOOOOOOO! SOFIE!” I yell out. At this point, I'm getting super pissed off. “Jeni! Jesi! To me! Now!”
Instantly, the twins are teleported to my side. “Unseal me. Now!”
The twins lean into me and give me a passionate kiss. I can feel the seal on my power unlock and my other sword appears next to Shadow Fang. I draw it out with my left hand and draw out Shadow Fang with my right. I swing it around so that I'm holding it correctly and charge directly at the demon.
“You fucking bitch! How dare you harm my servant! Now you'll fucking pay!” I yell.
The demon turns to me and laughs. “This foolish child was your servant? She served you well, as a decoy. Ha ha ha ha ha!”
I leap into the air and swing both swords in rapid succession at the demon. My blows land perfectly, but she's able to block them both with the armored bands around her arms. I drop back down to the ground into a ready stance.
“Fucking hell!” I pant. “Just what is it gonna take to bring this cunt down?” I suddenly hear a familiar voice yell out a spell command.

“Meteora Volcana!” Jeni yells. Waves of volcanic meteors rain down from the heavens, bashing the demon down as if they were fire and brimstone. The attack is causing a large amount of damage to her, that it drops her to her knees.
Shizumi, Hanneke, Aaboli, and Rebecca all charge in, yelling a fierce warcry. They all start swinging their weapons with primal ferocity as the demon continues to be on the defensive.
I shake my head in disbelief. “Those are my girls.” I say. “Time for me to finish this.”
As I charge at the demon once again, I hear another voice cry out.
“Million Missile Damnation!” It's Jesi. Every single shot from her special skill hits their mark expertly.
I leap into the air again. “Razor Hurricane!” I call out. I start spinning in the air, each slash from my blades cutting deeper and deeper into the demon's armor. Before long, the damage to her armor from our combined attacks shreds to pieces and falls to the ground.
“Okay, everyone, back off! I'm finishing this bitch!” I tell the team. Everyone does as ordered, and I rush in to attack on my own.
The demon laughs again. “You dare to attack me on your own! You're either brave or stupid!”
I run and leap into the air. “Funny you should say that, 'cuz I'm a little of column A, and a little of column B! But lucky for you, I'm all of column C: FULL FUCKING CRAZY!” And with that exclamation, I swing at her head with both swords.
As expected, the demon raises her arms to block, but this time, she has no armor. I don't hold back any restraint and cut right through both of them and hit dead-on into her skull. I feel the blade get stuck, so I pull as hard as I can to slice through the bone and into as much brain matter as I can. She screams in excruciating pain. Her blood sprays out like a fountain all over the ground. She crashes with a giant thud.
I land on the ground and walk over to the demon. I make two quick slashes across her throat and her blood sprays all over me. I narrow my eyes at her and say only one word; “Justice.” I then kneel down to drink my fill of her blood.
I stand up and walk over to Sofie. She is bleeding out profusely, but miraculously, somehow, still alive. I sit on the ground and cradle her head in my arms. I bite a chunk out of my wrist so that blood can flow freely. I put my wrist to her mouth and coax her to drink.
As Sofie drinks my blood, the wound in her chest starts to close at a rapid rate. Jeni walks over to us and begins to perform healing magic on Sofie as well.
“Thanks, Jeni,” I say tiredly.
“No prob,” Jeni replies. “After all, she is our ally.”
Jeni starts looking my body up and down.
“You checking me out?” I ask sarcastically.
Jeni smiles. “Always. Actually, I just want to make sure that you're uninjured.”
I rub my torso a little bit. “My ribs still hurt a little from when that bitch bear-hugged me. Other than that, I'm fine. I'll heal.”
Jeni flicks my forehead. “Don't be stupid. Let me heal you.”
As Jeni begins to heal me, I feel a tightening in my chest. I let out a howling scream from the pain as the seal takes hold on me and I pass out.
I wake up in my bed. I'm feeling really hazy and dizzy. Too dizzy to sit sit up, I decide to just lie still. I feel kind of weird, but really good. I feel a moist sensation around my groin, but no weight. As I become more accustomed to the sensation, I can feel the familiar texture of.......a tongue? But the sensation feels so good, that I instinctively begin to thrust.
“Oh, god,” I moan, “You're so amazing. Keep going.” I sit up a little to get a bit more comfortable. I wipe the sleep out of my eyes and look down to see who is servicing me so well. I am shocked to see a head of pink hair bobbing up and down on me. Wait, pink?
I pull away frantically, only for the girl to grab my hips and continue. “Woah, hold on there! I like what you're doing and everything, but my girlfriends are gonna be super pissed if they see you in here doing that!”
The girl doesn't miss a beat and manages to muffle her words while continuing. “It's okay, master, they already know I'm here. In fact, it was their idea for me to do this for you.”
I'm a little confused, but now that I hear her her voice and recognize the accent from the word “master,” I know in fact that this is Sofie. Wait, Sofie?
I pull Sofie off of me mid-climax. I inadvertently spray all over her face.
“Sofie, you're okay! Oh my god, I'm so sorry!” I say apologetically.
Sofie takes a part of her negligee and wipes her face. “Oui, master, thanks to you and Jeni. Between your blood and her healing spell, I feel a whole lot better. Thank you for saving my life.”
I grab Sofie and bring her in close to me in a tight embrace. “You're welcome.” I sense something different about her, so I hold her back a little bit and stare at her face.
Sofie tilts her head to one side quizzically. “Master, is something wrong?”
“Yes,” I say. “I sense a change in your aura. Did my blood do this to you?”
Sofie smiles devilishly. “Oh, so you did notice. Oui, your blood has enhanced my senses. It's also strengthened the psychic bond between us.”
“Wow,” I say surprisingly, “I'll have to remember that.”
Suddenly, I remember that I need to ask Sofie a question.
“Sofie, how long was I out for?”
“It's been two days.” Sofie responds.
Still exhausted, I stretch back out in bed. I pat the spot next to me.
“Come, my servant, lie with me.”
“Oui, my master.”
Sofie strips off her negligee and curls up next to me. Her tiny four-foot, five-inch frame and A-cup breasts feel amazing in my arms. As we drift off to sleep, the last thing I hear from her is, “Master, my life is yours, now and forever.”
