《History's Strongest Disciple Fanfiction》40 Back in Time

I opened my eyes to find myself in a room, afterlife sure is strange.
I looked around and saw Kano, the ponytail guy lying in bed right next to mine, he looked really young and full of life. His hand had some bullet wounds, which made me feel a rather strange dejavu.
Is this some sort sick version of hell, well I did kill people, thus it isn't impossible.
When I however saw a young Kisara enter with a basket of fruits, I was unable to understand what was going on. I begun to inspect my own body and soul, the coultivation manuals were still inbeded into my mind, but I had no coultivation to speak of.
I felt weird, I of course hoped something like returning back in time had happened, but everybody knows that's impossible, it would be more believable if they were demons in disguise or an illusion, replaying a fragment of my memory or something.
For the time being I decided to observe what was going on, the "Kisara" approached me and kissed me on the cheak, waiting for some response or something. I didn't understand the situation at all.
-What's up Tiger, you seem lost
-Who are you?
-The doctor said nothing about memory loss, that Quack, I'll have a few words with him later
-Are you a demon?
-What did you call me! Do you want me to show you hell! wait that didn't sound right?
-What's going on, I know I died, so how am I here?
-What are you talking about, you saved that man's life and saved the day, the tournament is over and in a few weeks we will be returning to school
-Is that so, then stay with me for this week, can you do that?
-Well I do have some kittens waiting at home, but whatever, if you want me to stay so much, why should I say no
-Kitten, when did things start to go wrong?
-Don't call me Kitten, at least not in front of strangers...
-Kitten, am I a bad person?
-You're sort of a selfish Dick, but I wouldn't call you evil
-Then why are we in hell, or is this paradise that allows you to relive the best moments of your life, but that wouldn't make sense, because the best moment of my life was when I met you
-That's it, I'm calling the doctor, it seems you're suffering from some sort of mental break down or something
-Wait, before you go, can you peal this apple for me?
-You...fine!
I stayed with Kisara the whole day, the personel of the hospital wanted to chase Kisara out, since visit time was over, but I insisted, by threatening to kill everyone, myself included. Ponytail Kano looked at Kisara sleeping in my bed, while I looked over her, he seemed really jealous of our relationship, but I don't care, I still think this is some kind of Illusion.
The next day Kisara woke up somewhat distressed.
-Did you stay up all night, your eyes look bloodshot, you should rest
-Is that how this illusion will end
Advertisement
-Illusion?
-When I close my eyes, everything will disappear and I will have to relive this moment again and again, or will I be sent to another moment, to reflect on what I could have but lost because of my selfishness and bad character
-Tiger, you know I won't leave you, after all you got in this situation entirely because of me, you think I don't know you care nothing about Miu and Kenichi, but you still saved them because they're my friends, I'm not stupid, people won't change just because we want them to, one good action doesn't make you a good person, but a wrong move doesn't doom you to hell, people learn from their mistakes, now cheer up! and Rest!
I genuinely cried, I know it's childish, but these words touched my heart, I don't know if the being that told them is a demon or an angel, but I hoped these moments would last longer.
I closed my eyes and went to sleep, expecting to be transported to another point in time or something similar. Lessons are to be learned and I think I just learned mine.
I woke up in the same bed, but Kisara was nowhere to be found, Ponytail Kano was still lying in bed, it seems that I had went back in time again, probably a time loop or something.
Kisara entered the room, not long after, but something was different, there was no fruit basket this time around.
-I went to the toilet for a minute, I hope you weren't too scared of losing me forever...hehe
-I...
-I knew it, you've been acting strang since yesterday, just tell me what's up and don't spout those amnesia bs, I know your head's fine, all you've got is overstrained muscles
-I lived for 130 years and have come back from the future, where I was murdered by a madman whom tried to destroy the whole earth, saying that everything he did was my fault
-Sounds a lot like you, you probably stood at the sidelines like always and did nothing to help
-Come on, on whose side are you?
-On yours, that's why you have to help people that need help and not stand on the sidelines, because the good guys always win in the end
-Sure, they do, in the end...
-You didn't sound too enthousiastic, now say it with me "Shin...Paku!"
I just couldn't stay sad with her around, the girl was so cheerfull and naive, that I just couldn't not love her.
She begun slapping me for not repeating that stupid Shinpaku Greeting, that's so cute, Ouch!
She bit me, I should bite back, we ended up kissing.
"Get a Room!"
Ponytail Kano interupted us, reminding us of his annoying existance.
-Kitten, if there's nothing wrong with me, lets go home
-But the doctors won't let us
-We can always escape
-Well we can't use the windows since it's the 4th floor, and you don't have a change of clothes, I could go get you clothes, do you need anything else?
-Let me think, I have a really good Idea, bring me the items on this list and I'll show you something really interesting

-Isn't this just some paper and inks? are you going to write me a poem?
-You'll see when you bring them to me
-You're getting more and more weird
It didn't even take her an hour to return with the materials I asked, well I was gonna make a few talismans, but it was still fun.
"Hey let me also make one, your talismans look too fake, here is how real ones should look like"
I seriously wanted to laugh, calling the real article fake and then making a bunch of trash to show me, this was really funny.
-So what's the plan, do we sell these as real talismans or something?
-Wait until the Ink dries, then we are leaving, anyone that tries to stop us, you put a talisman on their back
-I don't think anyone will believe that our talismans are real
-Why not, I'm sure they look genuine, after all you made them with me
-Mine are perfect, but yours...tchk, they don't cut it
-Then how about sticking mine on their backs and use yours as deterense, that way there will be no problem at all
"Hahaha"
Stupid Ponytail begun to laugh with our plan, of course he would, after all this wasn't a normal hospital, it was a holding facility for the secret services, if you could trick them with a bunch of paper, then Yami would've already been rulers of the world.
-See even the Evil guy laughs at your plan!
-What does he know, he got defeated by Kenichi, whom you can beat any time you like
-Wait, that doesn't counts, Kenichi didn't even fight back
-So what, you still beat his ass
-That, that's different
-So you're saying you're weaker than Kenichi?
-I, I don't know, the bastard won't even fight, If what I had with him was a fight, then I've had more serious fights with a punchbag
"Hahaha"
That bastard Ponytail is making fun of us, well it doesn't matter, I'm leaving and he's staying.
"Wait!"
He shouted as we were about to leave.
"Could you wait for a few days, I want to see your escape first hand, but I'm not well enough yet, it's just two or three days, also could the beauty bring a change for me as well, I'm sick of these hospital clothes"
I wanted to go over and punch him, for flirting with my girl in front of my eyes, but my hand muscles were sore from making the talismans, maybe a few more days of rest would do some good.
Kisara left, returning with some clothes and snacks, so what if the hospital didn't allow for snacks, it wasn't as if we were down with the flu or something and also I refused to eat anything given to me by those people, It's highly likely there will be some sort of drug inside.
A nurse came to warn us not to bring junk food into the hospital, I shouted for her to get out, she seemed distressed and went to the doctor to complain.
The same evening, they wanted to chase Kisara out, I stood in front of her and told them that if they touched even a hair on her head, I would make them hope they were dead.
Normaly people don't listen to such threats, especialy when they come out of the mouths of teenagers, but those guys weren't regular people, they were secret agents disguised as doctors and nurses, they knew full well how powerfull martial artists could be and they already knew that Kisara was one of those freaks, while Kano and I were too weak to be a real threat at the moment, but once we recover even a hundred of them wouldn't be able to stop us.
"If you don't stay back We will curse you!"
Kisara said while holding her paper talisman, if that person was part of the martial arts world, he would have probably begun to laugh, but for regular people, the world of martial artists was too mysterious. Those people were genuinely afraid of her fake talismans, probably had seen too many movies.
This however was a great chance to see if my plan could work.
"Kisara attach one of my talismans on his back as he turns around"
Kisara didn't think much of it and as the man turned around to leave, she sticked one of my talismans on him, there was no glue on that paper or anything, but she saw the talisman stick onto his clothes as if it had a will of its own.
The doctor fell to the ground as if he was a ragdoll, the nurse that was with him tried to take the talisman off, but the thing wouldn't come off, as if it was possessed by an evil spirit.
The doctor screamed and convulged in pain, the nurse shouted to me, pleading us to stop this, I told Kisara to help me get closer and as I touched the talisman, it burned and turned to dust. The doctor had fainted and their nightmare had ended.
Little did they know that this talisman had two purposes, it sapped the life out of beings and gave it to me, with only one talisman used, I had recovered enough to be able to walk on my own. Of course there was the added problem of time perception, but I can make seals that can solve it, all I need to do is reach foundation establishment and all my problems are over.
Tonight Kisara once more slept like an angel, I stood guard all night and for a good reason, because there was someone that came to look what was going inside. He even wore night vision googles to do so, since the lights were off.
Probably seeing me awake scared him off, but I knew full well that these people were scum and not worth assossiating with.
What will follow will probably not be worth anyone's time, as at this point there's nobody able to oppose me, even the elder is no longer a threat.

... And My Skillet
A long time ago, a child was born under the great blue sky. Many a Dwarf grumbled at the auspicious event, tugging furtively at their beards at this ill omen. A year later as the expedition had begun digging into the virgin hills of their new home, the grumbling of the doughty mountain people rose to a disbelieving furor when the yearling passed over the ritual offerings that would determine his lot in life. Instead, the as of yet unnamed child crawled over to a skillet fresh out of the fire and begun picking at the rock bread, unconcerned with the heat. Shouts turned into laughter, frowns lifted into craggy smiles. Upon placing a handful of the bread into his mouth, the infant’s face grew so grim and stony not even the eldest of the present Dwarves could match him. There was a durable ore within this babe, of that the Lore Keeper was sure. Yumly Ironhand was thus named, the beginning of his great tale immortalized on the rune walls of his clan’s history. “It’s pronounced Yoom Lee and no, rock bread isn’t a misnomer.”
