3 days passed, It really feels nice to be on a little vacation. I still spent most of my time at the Adventurers Guild. Mostly cause I don't really have another place to rest...Maybe I should buy a house after that? Probably. I will stay in this world for I don't know how long, so I would at least have a home. But still, the problem is money. Well at my level, I should get gold rather easily. But for now, it's just relaxing...
Another day passed. This time, I went looking for an enchanting shop. My clothes were already lightly enchanted, but a professional could do much better than what I have already. I could probably learn it myself, but, I don't have the patience or the time for this. But maybe later.
When I entered the enchanting shop, I was greeted by an elf. Those ears were really obvious... What about mines you say? This is completely different! Mines are fluffier, so they are better!
-Welcome to the Ears of Enchanting, what can I do for you?
Wow, that was a lame name. I wonder who named it cause it's really a shitty name.
-I want to enchant my clothes.

She gave me a paper with all of the enchanting who were available. Magical protection, Physical protection, General protection, Durability...Auto-repairing? That was interesting. But...It cost one whole gold...Ouch. There also was statistics enchantments, for... better stats, what did you expect?
I took the Auto-Repairing enchantment, even with the price being so high, I cared about theses clothes. And I didn't want to buy another set.
I also took the Auto-Wash enchantment, for 10 silvers, who cleaned automatically my clothes. I think was a little stupid to spend this much on this but I still took it.

And finally, with some of my remaining money, I've decided to enhance the Durability and General protection of my clothes.
-Thank you. Now, give us your clothes, it will take at least 3 days to enchant all of this.
-3 days?!...Ok, I guess...
I took off my clothes, and like the stupid person that I have, I didn't think it would take this much time...So I didn't bought another set of clothes in case...So all that I have left... Are my pajamas that I kept in my inventory... It was better than being naked at least...
So, after all of this, I bought some clothes for 50 copper and wore them. They were really basic but that will do it for 3 days.
I was back at the Adventurers Guild, it was still the same than before. People were drinking, some were already drunk... Yeah. I dunno how I spent 3 days here. I'm don't really like parties and this guild is a constant party. I entered in my room and begun to sleep. I was really tired even if I didn't do much these days... I guess that my body needed some welcomed rest...
I woke up. Judging by how the Sun was high, I would guess it was at least midday... I really overslept, didn't I?
I took the stairs below and was in front of the receptionist of the Guild...
-Hello Vakfu! You look tired, are you okay?
-...Uh? Oh yeah. I just woke up so I'm not completely awake...
-I can see that. Maybe you should do a quest. It's been a while since you took one.
-...Nah. I still have 2 days to relax and do nothing.It's nice to do nothing for a while sometimes.
-That's...Pretty lazy.
-Hey! Don't judge me! Between the 3 weeks in the chariot, 3 days helping the Queen in Kemna... and 2 others weeks doing nothing more than training and running, I need some rest!

So... Another 2 day passed, I've spent most of my time at sleeping and looking around the city. Even if it was pretty... Archaic. It has his charm. It almost feels like some outdoor museum where the Middle Ages were reproduced, except it has magic and stuff in extra. So it's even better.
I also got back my normal clothes. The enchantments were here.I could see them thanks to my magic control. After I put them on, I finally got back to the guild. When I stepped in, someone spoke to me
-You must be Vakfu right? My name is Arthur! We need to talk.
What surprised me was that the one who talked to me was a Kitsune, like me.

Follow Anastasia, the unlucky physicist turned wizard, as her reality gets turned upside down and she is plunged into a world of gods, magic, swords, and adventure. Short and sweet description, anything more would be a spoiler and I detest those. Now, what you can expect from reading: This is my first time writing, or better said allowing someone else to read that mess so don’t raise your expectations too much. Still, I will try to keep the story flowing, while also devoting as much time as I can to editing. In my opinion, the story is written at a faster pace than normal with time skips here and there. I will do my best to not allow the faster pace to ruin the story by using those time skips to raise the skill of the main character. I am mainly looking for feedback while I test myself in new and unexplored waters. I did put a lot of thought into worldbuilding and the magic system, it is something that has been mulling inside my head for years before I sat down to write anything down. First and foremost I am an engineer and not a writer. I will try to do my utmost to make the world logical and consistent, but sometimes I might not express that in a way that’s clearly understood. I have a rough outline with several possible endings, but the story will change and evolve as I do. But in case I have to stop for whatever reason, the story will get an ending. It will be done even if I have to send coded messages from a bunker. I am a big fan of the Dresden Files so you can be certain that everything mentioned will in most cases be used, with a few red herrings sprinkled in the mix. But that also means I will enjoy putting the main character through the meat grinder while I eat popcorn and laugh from my evil lair. Physics, and to be more precise electromagnetism, quantum field theory, general and special relativity are very interesting topics for me that I research in my spare time. That means that the premise of the story will be using that research to bring logic to magic. Stupid I know, magic is magic, but to me, there is no reason why there shouldn’t be a concrete set of rules there. But it is still magic and that allows me to play with some things that shouldn’t normally be possible. I will focus on evolving the main character and having her react as anyone normal would, from my perspective. There will be scenes of battle, gore, and sexy times, but I will not go into too many details, counting on your imagination to fill the gaps. There will be plenty of combat, even battles ranging from a few dozen, a hundred, and thousands of participants. I could go on but there isn’t much to say that would convince anyone to read, either you thought the title was cool or you liked the poster. Or not, but after several days in photoshop, that’s the best I could do. And the title was originally Sorceress with a Ph.D. The new one makes a little less sense but I like the ring of it more for some reason. I just hope someone enjoys what I write as much as I do. An isekai genre story with a few elements from LitRPG. The overall tone will be jumping back and forth from light to dark. Expect a lot of references to anime, manga, games, etc.It is written in first-person view and will contain a side-story using a "real-life" character. Initially, the MC will be writing the story as a true journal, so the prologue and first chapters may appear a mess of things that already happened, journal entries, and afterthoughts. A few chapters in, it will change into a normal, first-person manner retelling of what happened (storywise the character "Records" what happened to him). This is a side project of mine, so I will be uploading a few chapters per month. Chapters may have a severe difference in length (albeit I will try to maintain them around 3k), but expect the overall monthly word count to be not less than 15k words.Author recommendation, if you intend to follow the story, read the new updates once a month (counting from the day the first chapter is uploaded). Content Warning: I do intend to include a few disturbing moments to emphasize the darkness of the human (and other beings) nature, so please consider that even though some chapters (especially the starting ones) are kinda like a comedy routine.
