《One can only laugh in the face of destiny》4 - Frank's Destiny

“I am The God of Destiny Frank and it is time for you to accept your Destiny.”
“....................” Frank’s mind blanked not knowing what to say.
“Speak in your mind and I can hear you Frank hurry now I do not have long.”
“How do I know your really the god of destiny?”
An inordinate amount of power swept over Frank bringing him to his knees only supporting himself by the hand of his sword.
“You can only have faith that I am, besides why would I lie I could destroy this planet with a Cough if I wanted.”
Frank, barely holding on, searched his mind for some way he could test this so-called God.
“Fine let's say you're the God of Destiny. Why are you here? Was this ritual really your doing?”
The power vanished from around Frank as he knelt on one knee conversing with the God of Destiny in his mind. Off to the side King Anthon the 13th of his name was quite concerned for his loyal knight having felt the immense power surge in the Spire 4 times now.
The God of Destiny finally Spoke to Frank, “ I have come to stop you all from killing one another. As soon as the hero was summoned one of you fools tried to attack him and had his head knocked off, and then you all were about to attack him again. You especially should have known better given your Grandfathers teachings on my power. This ritual was given to the ancient ones to tie a summoned one's destiny to the races that needed saving.. If you killed him you all would have died as well in fact this entire world would have been lost you fools. So here I am to put an end to this mess and guide you idiots in the right direction.”

Frank thought over the last few minutes and came to understand that this most likely was a God how else would he know of the things his Grandfather told him about such rituals he had never spoken of them even to the King.
“This just can’t be the hero can it? It is a fucking donkey, it can’t even hold a sword. How is it even supposed to protect us?” Frank asked.
“For starters every hero is given certain powers, one of which you just saw used in person. I assume you understand how strong the hero is as you’ve just seen how he straight up destroyed that idiot's head.” Replied The God of Destiny
“That doesn't explain how he is going to fight the hordes of demons, the undead, giant spiders, the riders of kane, and other horrors we are to face! He can’t kick them all to death especially if they group up on him” Frank was puzzled at where to begin with this mess.
“That is actually why I am talking to you Frank, Dave has always been a rather devout follower but he seemed to have forgotten to use a key ingredient in this ritual and it sort of… should we say hindered the Hero’s gifts and synchronization with himself in the summon. So the hero can not speak to the races of this world as freely as his own. Not that donkeys have much to say to one another mind you. Regardless this hero is rather unique of all the Destinies I oversee, this is the most shall we say interesting. Without staying here too long to explain the ins and outs of fate let's just say he is rather free of certain controls more so than usual. So free in fact that he is quite likely not to help you at all especially after this unfortunate meeting. Donkeys are quite stubborn beings.”

“Your THE GOD OF DESTINY first you give us a donkey as a hero, now you're telling me it doesn't want to be a hero? What the hell kind of shit is that?!” Frank replied, getting more annoyed each second over the situation.
“Calm down Frank that's why I have chosen to speak to you. Usually the hero is given the ability to speak and receives a tribute from each of the races of the world that imbues the Hero with their gifts. As our hero is lacking these gifts he is rather less hero-like. So he must go to each of the races and receive the gifts in order to gain the power to be the hero he is destined to be.”
“What does that have to do with me?” Frank asked, feeling something bad was about to happen.
“That my dear boy is precisely the question you should be asking. Now the hero is stubborn, and when I say stubborn I mean STUBBORN. I was almost forced to destroy his soul to get him to accept that he is the hero and should help you. That being said, since this is such a unique situation I have decided to step in and support our young hero as he will not be able to do this atleast not alone. That is where you come in, Frank.”
Frank felt in his heart of hearts that he was going to hate what happened next.
“So you see Frank you are going to be the Hero’s helper, I am going to tie your destiny a little tighter with the Hero’s so you two can communicate. You will take him on the journey to gather the tributes and fight alongside him.”
“No no no no no no absolutely not I do not want to be tied together with a fucking Donkey! I am a knight of the king. I am meant to be on the battlefield commanding and fighting with the army, not some freaking animal!” Frank
“Too late Frank, not that you had a choice anyways it's your Destiny.”
“Fuck you!!!!” Frank tried to yell towards the God of Destiny.
“Oh before I forget you should learn the hero’s name instead of calling him Donkey or IT otherwise you might end up like the guy splattered over there.” Warned The God of Destiny.
Power converged between Frank and Clive an invisible link tieing them together.

Reincarnation Station: Death, Cake and Friendship
All Fred wants is a chance to sing and dance on Broadway. This dream is looking increasingly unlikely, as he dies on the second page. Reincarnation Station is a tale of dubious taste and even more dubious humour. An absurdist exploration of death, dungeons, and dance coupled with mind-bending philosophical questions such as whether or not a jaffa cake is really a cake or just a pretentious biscuit. Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)
