 Veran couldn't help but sigh in disguise as he draw through the dust and spiderwebs that had accumulated through the years that Varun and his master have been living there.

Opening the doors to the portal room Verun whatched with bated breath as he waited for the visitors to come through.

Bzzt bzzt

Varun watched with awe as 6 humanoid forms tumbled through the portal.

Varun cleared his throat and prepared to welcum the visitors to his masters castle.

 But before he could do so the all visitors collapse apparently too exhausted by the journey that they were nearly knocked unconscious upon arriving.

In the library Xern waited impatiently for the mortals to arrive.

Xern - ( when are they going to get here I'm tired of posing)

AN - yeah he's actually trying to impress them not so much make a good impression hey I had a hard time thinking up names should I change them?

And Veran isn't actually a monkey just FYI -

2 hours later finally no longer willing to wait

Xern storm from the library as of the wrath of God was behind him preparing to give the monkey a piece of his mind and questioned him about why he kept him waiting and where the supposed mortals were supposed to be.

Xeran * squish* huh? I stepped on spider?

Takes a look around " ugh this entire place is coverd in spider webs and who knows what

Else I feel dirty just standing here."

I should proadbly cast a cleaning spell to freshen up this place but then again I want to find veran eh I'll do the cleaning spell first.

Muttering to himself (this is what happens when you sleep for a few hundred years)

Clapping hands together Xeran sent out a wave of magic that spread throughout the castle that gained power as it went rebounding throughout the castle into every nook and cranky destroying the dirt and grit that had accumulated in the last few hundred years
