《Is this really luck?》Chapter 14 embarrassing moment and a weird chill

“So she’s to the east.” (Ayame)
“Sister are you ok. Your kinda in the period where your blind.” (Sora)
Sora had his hand on his sister’s hand as she sat near the window from the headmaster’s tower. His black hair was spiky but he had his white uniform on as well he gave her a worried look. Ayame‘s long lavender hair glowed slightly in the morning sunlight.
“It’s not so bad. Just that the period for me going partially blind in certain months has become longer. Don’t worry I’ll be back to normal in no time.” (Ayame)
“Last you said that it took you 20 months in blindness before it back to normal. Sister I’m worried that one day you might wake up completely blind.” (Sora)
Ayame smiled to her 11 year old brother who held onto her hand as if she’d disappear anytime. She could hear the concern in his voice. Who wouldn’t be bothered if they kept going blind once in a while for months to years end and unable to do anything about it. Instead she had learned to wait it out over the years, she was now 15 years old. But when it first happened when she was 5 years old she’d panic so much. Now she’d grown ever use to not seeing during those odd months. It also made her more perceptive than most on things.
All these years had left her feeling weird besides not feeling at home. She had a sense she didn’t belong here but she had zero memories of that familiar feeling of wanting home. Yet here she was at school and feeling a familiar wave of energy one she could never forget but she had no name for whom it belonged to.
“Aya do you think the dragons would wage war on us again like 300 years ago.” (Sora)
“Judging from the tension in trade, maybe..... no it might just be me being paranoid just think of it as a older sister’s worries. Think nothing of it.”

“But sister your never been wrong before. Rather what’s eating away at you to make you feel so on edge.” (Sora)
“I feel a familiar scent and someone who might know some answers.” (Ayame)
“What do you mean sister didn’t we come here to the headmaster to fix your blindness problem.” (Sora)
“She said she couldn’t do much to a soul who’s been split into two halves. But she did say my other half wasn’t on this planet.” (Ayame)
Sora caressed his sister’s hand in n concern, this wasn’t the first time he was worried about her state. Rather she had stopped depending on him when she turned 7. He was after all 4 years younger than her, it frustrated him to no end that he couldn’t help his gentle sister. Ayame took her hands back when he commented on how soft it was compared to the knights. Which only made his older sister give him a wry smile. Because it was true due to her nature of liking cooking and gardening more. Also doing magic on the side of house chores.
Rachel POV
I felt a weird chill that I’ve never felt before, as if my life might be threaten. But I awkwardly am being worshipped by Rei who’s hugging me tightly. Why the heck didn’t I disguise myself back then. Ugh stupid me bring 7 year old and thinking no one will suspect a 7 year old on a assassination mission. Who the heck said a child can’t remember their childhood. Oh why does this give me the complex feeling like I am flirting. Wait this stupid game has a yuri route as well as a yaoi route. Don’t tell me I somehow triggered it somehow when I promised her I’d help her out.
Yet I can’t wave it off like nothing happened either. I’m not like some idiotic Mc in those light novels I read about either where they wave it off and end up with a few unaccounted roommates. Please tell me the heroine in this one isn’t someone who’s worst than a airhead. Actually I don’t even want someone to answer that since I myself got reincarnated. On that note I am not checking my status since it’s pointless to do so. Yes I’m at school why would I need to check it plus it’s not like I have a status alignment happening much less some sort of curse. And yep Rei is crying while hugging me still. Aren’t you embarrassed at all, your like what 15 or 16 years old I’m just a 10 year old child here.

Right I now have slobber on my right shoulder, I’m also clueless to what the capture targets are doing and I’m here in the one place my mom wants me to avoid. How do I know letters being sent to me through aunty Seven. It also made aunty Seven choke on her drink when mother explained that the king loved beauty too much. It was kinda funny to see her flip. Yep a goddess of prophecy and magic flipped out or as I called it got pissed. Let’s just say with pretty Valkyries, goddesses and other races put into that equation as Seven said who wouldn’t flip when finding out. She also told me to stay away from that pedophile.
I don’t even want to know about it at all. Rei is being soothed by me and I’m glaring at a grinning Rin who just came towards me. Oh it’s on you jerk, you left me for who knows how long this whole morning with a very emotional girl. It doesn’t mean I’m letting you off even if your immortal.
“Why are you giving me that childish look like you want to bite me back.” (Rin)
“Because I don’t know how long you stood there for watching me soothe the lady here. Oh right your not using common sense. Wait you got it from my aunt and my personality being affected by my mentality. Do tell me your not here to just watch me suffer again. Aren’t you supposed to protect me.” (Rachel)
“Well I at least made myself known once the other party was sleeping right.” (Rin)
He’s giving me that damn look as if to say look here do you want me to help you with her or not. Well she is kinda heavy on my shoulder. My eyes narrowed when I realized what he meant the idiotic boy was watching the whole sob scene in glee.
3rd person POV
Rin backed up as he saw Rachel’s eyes gleamed in the morning light. It was almost noon yet he was now regretting the fact he had provoked her. This incident made him remember that sometimes girls have a moment when they don’t want to be watch. Seeing as this is the case he picked up Rei and tried to make a run for it. But a chill went down his spine on her words.
“Say you maybe immortal but would you enjoy the acids of a snake’s stomach. Oh I know how about being bitten by drake into millions of pieces to be regenerated.” (Rachel)
Hearing her words he wanted to retort are you sure your not the devil’s incarnate put into a human body. While he left after telling her to go met the headmaster Rachel shook her head deep in thought.
‘Wait I nearly forgot about one notorious bastard that counts as a capture target. He’s the 6th prince who was exiled but owns the whole underworld of this kingdom. Jean Scar also is a a freaking cruel mafia gone wrong.’ (Rachel)
I walked a bit until I got to the headmaster’s office. Did I mention I’m skipping the details of this scene due to the embarrassing scene of being hugged by her. Though she maybe my aunt, the best description is ethereal, other worldly, weird and eccentric. Actually I do not want to go describe such a scene. All I can say is she’s someone I don’t want to meet.
