'Krekk'!!

I opened the small window inside my room. This morning sure is a bit brighter than usual. I'm sure today is a good day!

Or so i thought..

In front of the door, there is Lucia, standing while knocking the door repeatedly. I wonder what her business here. As i close the small window, i walk to the sink while ignoring her knocking.

'Slam'!

...

As i was brushing my teeth, i heard a really big sounds from the door. When i turned my back.. I can see that Lucia is glaring at me like she is on fire. And the door..

...

Its goddamn broke! They were split in half!

"Kurozaki-dono, why you won't open the door? I have been knocking it since 6 am."

...

Kurozaki-dono? Eh? She told me those words as she speaks in a strangely soft voice. Although her voice didn't match her current face.

"Wait, what did you just called me? Since when you were being so polite?"

"..."

And now she didn't answer my question. Something's wrong here. There is no way that this cat maid is this nice. Especially toward me.

I need to do something. Maybe she got brainwashed by someone. I should try to check on her condition.

"Whats wrong with you, Lucia?"

...No respond.

It seems i have no choice here. I raise my hand to my left ear, as i was about to call someone. She seems puzzled by my sudden behavior. And then..

"Hello, Earth to Lucia? Earth to Lucia? Are you still here?"

"S...Shut your trap!! And what the hell is Earth to Lucia?!"

...

She has turn to normal. Good. I nod while observing her normal rage mode. She seems enraged than usual. Her soft mode has peeled off.

"What the hell is wrong with you?! I was trying my best not to get angry at you."

"Actually, that's my question. What happen to you? I thought you are someone else for a second.."

"Thank you so much for thinking that i always angry!"

"What? I wasn't wrong, right? Even you think that you're an angry cat yourself. Wait, angry cat isn't a bad nickname.."

"Damn you Kurozaki!!"

I laugh. She shouted at me in a rather loud voice. It hurts my ears when she does that. She seems confused with my sudden behavior. Looks like she even see herself as a grumpy cat that always angry..

After i stopped laughing, which is about a few minutes ago, Lucia look down while standing in a shy position. I wonder why is she even come here for?

Everyday, she will always come to my room to wake me up, and then ignore me until i open the door.

Today sure is different.

"Kurozaki-dono.. i want to apologize to you for the yesterday matter."

She seems reluctant at first, but she seems relieved as she finished her words. I just brush it off with a faint smile.

"Don't sweat it. I don't really mind. Actually, i was the one who get mad at you. I'm the one who should feel sorry."

I bow at her. I remember everything happened last night. There is no way that i would forget that.

I know.. pretending to forget isn't a good idea. From the bottom of my heart, I was hoping that this maid forget it.

"Please raise your head, Kurozaki-dono. Its my fault for saying all those bad things to you without knowing anything. We aren't in a bad relationship now, right?"

I raise my head. And then, Lucia seems sparkling more than ever.

Whoa.. who the hell is this woman? Am i really talking to a same person? While i question myself inside my head, she start to say

something that i wish i didn't hear..

"Actually, i asked Miyuki-dono about.. your past."

"Huh?"

"She told me that you have lost your family since child. I have no idea that you have gone through the same thing like me."

"So, you feel sympathy to me after hearing my past? That's why you want to be nice with me?"

She nodded.

"Sorry, Lucia. I don't want you to be nice to me just because of my past."

"No, i didn't mean to--"

"Just forget it already!"

"..."

... What have i done?!

Losing control of my sudden anger, i lashed at her. Damn it! Me and my sudden bad temper.

"S-sorry, Lucia. I didn't mean to.."

"Its okay. I know how you feel. My parent was murdered by demons from underworld. The mastermind was a human. That's

why, i.."

"Lucia.."

She averted her eyes from mine. It seems that she didn't want to talk more about it. Judging by her face, i know that i shouldn't

ask her for more detail.

"But you know what? Its funny that you hate me just because i'm a human. Maybe you should throw away that kind of attitude."

Lucia seems shocked with what i just said. Well, she may have a trauma with human race. I don't blame her for that. But, she

really need to stop with that kind of attitude. Not all humans has a parent like she said.

Lucia look down, and her attitude seems different that her usual one. Not that i hate it.

"Alright. I will try my best. But don't get me wrong. I still hate humans no matter what."

"Wait, which one is it? Is it a yes or no?"

"Oh shut up."

And then, we started to laugh. After that, Lucia have make a promise that she will stop hating on all human. Now, we have no

problem and both of us have known about each of our past. I guess this case has been solved.

.

"I'm sorry, Aki-kun!"

Miyuki started to bow to me inside this carriage. Even Meiko seems to be surprised by her behavior. Oh god, this is awkward.

"Ara.. what have you done, Akari?"

"I.. i told Lucia-san about Aki-kun's past.. I'm sorry!"

She keep bowing at me. If i don't stop this, she won't stop bowing. I try to raise her head while smiling. She does seems to be

scared at me.

"There is no need to worry about it. I won't get mad at you for anything like that."

"But.."

"Don't worry about that."

"But.."

"Ahem ahem."

Meiko stop our non-ending conversation. If she didn't stop Miyuki, there won't be an end to this. I should thank Meiko for that.

"It seems that there is something happen between you and Lucia. I wonder what is it?"

"..."

None of us speak a word. Its not that i don't want to say about Lucia's bad attitude. Its just that i have no idea what to tell to this

princess here. It would just add a burden on her, that's why.

However, she keep staring at both of us, waiting for our answers. And then..

"Aki-kun.. and Lucia-san.. was fighting each other. And.."

And, Miyuki explain to Meiko about why is that happened, and so on. After Meiko heard those explanation, she nod, as she always

knew it from the started.

"I see.. That's to be expected."

"Wait, don't tell me that you know this would happen!"

I shouted at Meiko. She didn't seem to be disturbed by that. And then, her face's changed.

"Lucia has always hate humans since child. She won't talk to anyone who is related to human. However, deep within her heart, she always wish that a person like her will appear before her. And that person will stop her from hating humans. And gladly, you're that person, Kurozaki."

Eh? What?

Not only we were surprised by what what Meiko just said. We also were surprised by Meiko's true intention to assigned Lucia to be my maid.

All of a sudden, Meiko seems to be smiling sweetly. It is as she is relieved that her friend is saved by anger and hatred.

Anger and hatred.. they're really a powerful emotions that no one can control it once they reach the limit. Some people can hold anger quite long, and some can't. Everyone has gone through that phase, and of course, that is including me.

Well, it's good to see Lucia's new personality, so i guess it isn't half bad for once.

As i smiled timidly, Meiko started to laugh.

"Hahaha."

"Why are you laughing?"

Both of us stare at Meiko confusedly as she suddenly laughed out of nowhere. We looked at each other, trying to figure out what is wrong with Meiko. And then, she stop laughing.

"I see. You aren't half bad, Kurozaki. I think i can entrust you with this."

"What do you mean by that?"

"After the festival ended, you will know why i said that."

As Meiko finished those words, she continue to stare at the small window inside the carriage. Since the conversation seems to die off, our carriage have arrive into the school, just in time.

"What are we going to do in this festival?"

A boy with blonde hair started to mumbled.

'Sigh'~

Everyone inside the class started to sighed rhythmically. This morning, there is no class. It's because teachers are having a meeting for the upcoming festival. All class must discuss what to do in this festival.

'Sigh'

I started to sigh again. I don't want to take part in anything. Anything is fine with me. I don't even care anymore. I just want to

win and get back my necklace.

"Hey class rep, how about a maid cafe?"

A guy with slightly fat, raised his hand while smiling. Class representative respond to his suggestion.

"What is that?"

"A cafe where girls cosplaying as a maid.."

"Rejected!"

"Noo~"

"Now we can't see Miyuki-sama in her maid outfit!!"

...

Who are you calling Miyuki-sama? And where the hell did the maid cafe come from? A convenience plot again?

While some of our classmates who is Miyuki 'fans' started to weeping, Judai raise his hand. All eyes are looking at him. We are all expecting something from Judai. Although, i don't really care much for his opinion..

"How about we wrote down what we want to do for the festival? Its much easier than asking for class rep's decision."

"Well, i guess you're right. Let's do that."

Wait, did Judai just said something useful for once? This is new. I thought he would said something like

-"Let's get all girls wearing only underwears and say nyan!.."-

..or something along those lines. That's what he always do inside the class. It seems that some of our classmates are praising Judai for his brilliant 'idea'.

After that, we were ordered to write what we want to do for festival inside a paper. Each of us can only write one. We must put them inside the box in front of the class after we finish writing it. Class representative will pick randomly inside the box. Anything

that the class representative pick will be the activity we do for the festival.

While i was thinking about what to write, Judai came to my desk and whisper something to me.

"Bro, i think we should write maid cafe."

"Why would i have to do that?"

"Don't you want to see girls in maid outfit? I bet they will look so cute together~"

Judai's face is sparkling. Uhh... He does seem enthusiastic when talking about this, huh?

"Err.. i'm not really interested in this.."

"Wait, are you one of those closet perverts? Bro, don't be shy. No one will know who wrote it. Some guys in our class has agreed

with this, so there is nothing to worry about."

"Judai, i'm not even a pervert--."

"If you want to talk about pervert things, do it on your seats, Meikuri-san, Kurozaki."

"Maya.."

Maya butt into our conversation before i can finish my words. Well, i can't actually blame her. He wasn't really whispering. He was

talking those things as he was talking to a friend in a table. I bet she find us irritating. And then...

"Hey.. don't call me Meikuri!"

Judai begin to shout at Maya.

Eh?

Judai's expression begin to changed. He look super serious right now. I wonder what is wrong with him.

"Judai?"

"Do you have a problem with that, Mei-e-ku-ri?"

"I told you not to call me that, Maya-chan!"

Ahh.. and now they're arguing. And its over a silly thing like name.. No one is trying to stop their fight. Instead, they're trying to ignore these arguments. Then, slowly, Miyuki came to our desk and..

"Stop it, both of you!"

She stop both of them with her hand by pushing them away from each other. Both of them were stuttered. As a former class representative, Miyuki must feel that she has to stop them at any cost. She really is passionate when it comes to this, huh?

After Miyuki stopping them, I can hear some of my classmates is cheering for Miyuki. What the hell? You guys aren't even trying to stop them. Wait, i didn't do anything either.

...Whatever.

After the situation has started to calm down, Miyuki try to ask them the cause of their fight. They didn't said anything. And then, our class representative approach toward us. He seems angry.

"Both of you!! You have disturbed the whole class. And the whole reason is because of a family name?!"

Judai seems pissed at class representative's words. It is as those words has pierce through his heart. This Judai seems different than any Judai i have ever see before. And then, class representative continue.

"Judy, i know how much you have a problem with your family name. But, that's not an excuse to pick a fight. Luckily, Akari-san has stop you from punching Harley-san."

"..."

Family's name? Judai have a problem with them? Why did he feel like that?

Now that i think of it, no one has called him with his family name. They only called him Judy and both Miyuki and me called him Judai. It seem no one has ever tried to called him with his family name. Maybe, there is specific reason for it. It seems everyone has know it all along. They also never to get so closed to Judai. It is as they're scared at him. And about that 'punch' thing.. it seems that he has issues before i arrived in this world and--

"Aki-kun? What's wrong?"

As i was too absorbed in my thinking about Judai, Miyuki realized that and tried to snap me out. I should be grateful to Miyuki. If i keep thinking too much, i won't even realize what is happening around me.

"I'm okay. Thanks for worrying me, Miyuki."

Miyuki smile at me after hearing my answer. Her feeling didn't change a bit, huh?

As i was captivated by Miyuki's smile, Maya just sit at the chair. She seems to be ignoring Judai's previous arguments. It is as that argument had never happened in the first place. She didn't even apologize to Judai. Judai didn't seem to mind about it.

Almost all of my classmates are glaring at Maya with anger. Well, given that her kind of rude attitude, anyone would get pissed off.

"That's enough. Everyone, go back to your seats and write your opinions."

"Okay~"

Everyone answered the class representative's shouts rhythmically and go back to their own seats. Luckily there won't be no more issue. Even Judai go back to his seat without saying anything. He doesn't seem to be in a mood to make a joke, i guess. I saw

Miyuki is convincing Judai when he got back to his seat.

Since i don't know what to write, i guess i will write 'maid cafe'. It won't be so bad if i can see Miyuki in a maid outfit. I bet she'll be pretty cute in that outfit..

'Blush'

What am i thinking about? Is this what Judai called a 'closet pervert'?

Nah, i think i just thinking way too much.

Since that fight just over, Maya seems depressed more than usual. Not only that, her hand didn't seem to be moving. She might be thinking about a lot of things. I guess i'll try to talk to her.

"Maya-san, what do you write?"

"..."

No respond. It is as she didn't hear my voice at all. I guess should try to get her attention.

"Maya-san~ Are you okay?~"

I said that while waving my hand in front of her face. She didn't seem to be responding.

Error 404... Maya's consciousness not found...

Sorry.. This has to be done. She does seem to be some sort of computer who is losing one of its database. I wonder what is going

on inside her head.

While i was waving my hand at her face, she seems to has come to her senses and slap my hand in surprised.

Phew, luckily. I though she won't wake up.

Maya is glaring at me, like i was doing something suspicious. What's with that look?

"What do you want, Kurozaki?"

"I just want to ask you about what are writing for the class festival, that's all."

Maya still glaring at me. I don't know what is her problem. Luckily, Lucia started to apologize to me. Now i have to deal with Maya

here. After that, she leave a sigh.

"Nothing really. I don't really care."

"Maya-san..."

"It's about your necklace, right? You won't get them back, no matter how much do you struggle."

Looks like she is trying to get on my nerve. But i shouldn't get angry for now. Or Lucia's incident will occur once again.

"Maya, look. I'm not trying to to be rude or anything. I just trying to be nice to you."

"What will you gain if you get on my good side? And please put a honorific."

This girl...

"I don't want anything from you. I just trying to be nice with you, like i said before, Maya-san."

I said those words with a rather rude sounding. I don't even know how peoples can stand her attitude. Nothing changes. She still

glare at me like usual.

This girl can't be saved anymore. She is just as stubborn as Lucia! If this is a game, she will be a final boss kinda type.

"I don't sense any honesty in your words. And i don't want to deal with your problems. You do your business, i'll do mine."

After Maya throw those words, she continue to ignore me. She pretend like this conversation has never happened in the first place.

...

Oh well, i think i should forget about Maya for now. I walk toward the box on the front and put the paper inside the box, since i have finish writing it up.

After that, time's up. Looks like everyone has write their opinions. Class representative started to put his hand inside the box. After

a minute, he grabbed a paper.

He unfold the paper and stare at it. His face starting to turn blue. I guess this isn't a good news.

'Sigh'~

He started to sighed and stare at us at a rather unsatisfied face. And then, he begin to speak.

"Looks like we will be doing a drama. A love story drama."

...

"Ehh?!!"

I have a trouble when thinking for what activity they will be doing.

(And recently i was addicted to Vocaloids.)

I will also draw the cover for the novel page.

And i will be rarely updating this novel (at least until my Vocaloids hype gone)
