After we were more than few minutes away from his house

"Why did you deliberately set up Bess with James" Alex asked , I smiled

"Because Alex , I think that Bess likes James and James likes Bess , so I wanted to be their cupid" I answered

"You know you could be wrong" Alex suggested

"Have you ever seen Bess blush the way she did in front of James ?" I asked Alex thought back and realized

"You are right not once since I got to know her, I have never seen her blush in front of boys" Alex agreed

"There is one thing I want to ask , Alex " I said

"Yeah , go ahead and ask " Alex replied

"Is someone moving out from your house , cause I noticed the moving truck earlier?" I asked

"Yes , I am moving out of my house hence the excuse of my accident" Alex answered

" To where? " I asked

"At least let me keep this secret " Alex requested

"Come on , tell me " I asked him

He didn't concede to my request , I spent the rest of the way to home interrogating him without any success. Finally we reached in front of my house

"You won't tell me will you ?" I asked the 100th time , he rested his right hand on my left cheek

"Kate , you will be the 1st one to know where I move too, as soon as I am done moving ." He answered and kissed on the top of my forehead , no way I was going to let I end like that . I put my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss , which ended few seconds later by a smiling Alex .

" Kate promise me you will be vigilante till I finish the move , please ." He said and let go of my hand .

"I promise , Alex that I will keep myself safe." After that he left I went upstairs , I got asked a lot of questions by mom , thankfully dad was not there . I somehow evaded all of her questions and went to bed. Sleep wasn't coming to me , every time my mind would drift to Alex and I would end up grinning . This is so stupid , I am so stupid. Nonetheless , I found myself drifting to sleep.
