《Heir's Fate》Chapter 14 : Eden Romanica.

After several hours of trying to communicate with the rabbit, he gave up. The playful beast kept thinking that he wanted to play with it. Of course, he played with it, how could he say no to such a playful beast?
'Huh? where the hell am I...again.'
He looked around and he couldn't see his crude pole anymore. He cursed at himself. He was too caught up in trying to make the beast understand while playing with it that he didn't realize they were straying away from his landmark.
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
The rabbit jumped around him seemingly wanting to play more, clueless of the thoughts bothering him. He let out a sigh and rode the back of the rabbit.
The rabbit noticed his sad expression. It tried to look at Rey that was riding its back, but it had no neck so it had to twist its upper body making it impossible to look at him. It shook itself so Rey get's off of its back so it could look at him.
Rey stood beside the rabbit while staggering. The shaking confused his sense of balance for a moment. The rabbit nuzzled against his body once more to cheer him up, but he just stood there with a small frown on his face.
'The shaking probably crushed the remaining crackers.'
He didn't check inside his bag, he instinctively knew they've already crumbled into pieces. He stood still for a while thinking of his crackers.
The rabbit tilted its head. It seemed like it was planning something as it looked at Rey who was spaced out thinking of something. It grabbed Rey with its massive hands and placed him on its back.
Rey was confused by the action of the rabbit so he didn't know what to do. Power filled the rabbit's muscular hind legs and it started hopping in great speeds. Rey flew backwards, but fortunately he caught its fur and held on.
He felt motion sickness. The rabbit was travelling in a fast speed and the ride wasn't comfortable as it was hopping quickly.
"Urlp..."
He stopped himself from hurling on its back. He didn't know why the rabbit suddenly placed him on its back and ran to a direction. He tried to observe the quickly passing scenery around him, it made him want to hurl even more.
He closed his eyes and tightened his grip on the rabbit's fur. He wanted to make the rabbit stop, but he couldn't. It was ignoring all his cries to stop, it was determined to reach a location.
After a few minutes the rabbit began to slow down and stopped. Rey got off its back trying his best to keep his balance. He held his knees and started to vomit on the ground. A whole torrent of grossness composed of half-digested potatos, carrots and what seemed to be soggy crackers.

"Don't you know drinking while hunting is prohibited?"
An unknown feminine voice spoke to Rey. He could see her shadow dawn on him as he kept throwing up on the ground. She was approaching him, but he failed to notice. All he was concerned about was the seemingly never ending waterfall of filth pouring out of his mouth.
"N-no, I dont drink. I got motion si—GWURGH"
He was cut mid sentence as he felt the need to hurl once more. He pointed at the rabbit in hopes that the female would understand it was the cause of his problem.
"Rough ride, huh?"
Rey nodded. A small giggle escaped from the female's mouth. He couldn't see her face as he was embarrassed to look up. He was sure he looked disgusting right now.
He opened his bag and pulled out a bottle of water to wash his face, mainly his mouth. He took a swig from the bottle and calmed his stomach. He stood up to properly greet the lady in front of him. His eyes widened as he looked towards the direction of the woman. Her eyes also widened as she gazed upon Rey's face.
Her hair was lightly curled and looked glossy, and it fell down like a waterfall. She had smooth jade-like skin with no blemishes in sight. She had long curved eye lashes and deep red lips that made one want to kiss them. Every time she moved her head, her hair flowed like water. Her figure was akin to a Greek goddess.
If one could observe Rey at the moment he looked like he was captivated by her beauty, but that was not the case. He was looking at the scene behind the female. A dome like structure similar to the city he resided in towered over them in the distance. He instinctively looked at the rabbit and forgave it for the troubles it caused him.
'Towe's Outpost'
He found it. The flower should've spat him out near this location. The null space that the settlement was in was large, comparable to a small town. It was able to house a few hundred hunters inside it. Hunters would stay inside to rest safely or trade with other hunters.
It was named after the hunter who discovered the large null space the outpost was built in. Freia Towe.
He snapped out of his thoughts, he forgot about the woman that was standing in front of him. He quickly fixed his posture and gazed at the woman.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Rey. Rey Fallenhall."
The woman looked like she was in a trance. Rey's words snapped her out of it.

"Uh....uhm...Nice to meet you too! I'm Eden. Eden Romanica."
She stuttered as she spoke. Her face was bright red from embarrassment. The greeting was awkward for her, she didn't know what to say after exchanging names.
Satisfied with the greeting, Rey left Eden who was lost in thought and walked towards the rabbit. He caressed its fur and gestured that he wanted to play. It's ears perked up and it dropped down and laid on its back.
Rey started to vigorously rub its fur. Happy chirping noises escaped its mouth as it enjoyed his intense belly rubs. Eden was looking at the sight it front of her. The warm atmosphere around them made her smile.
"I need to enter the settlement now, stay safe will you?"
The rabbit seemed to properly understand it this time. Its face looked forlorn. At first it hesitated in parting with Rey, but it soon decided to run off in the distance while looking back at him.
Rey waved his goodbye. He would miss the playful rabbit. Now that the rabbit was gone he felt a bit lonely.
"Was that Odd Rabbit yours?"
"Ah, no. It was just a fateful encounter."
He looked towards the direction the rabbit left and a faint smile appeared on his face.
"Ms. Eden."
"Yes?"
"Did you come from Towe's Outpost?"
Rey pointed at the dome covered outpost in the distance.
"No I didn't. When I entered this floor the flower entrance spat me out in a location I didn't know. I was lost and left wandering for a few hours until I saw a huge dust trail form in the distance, which led me to you and the odd rabbit. "
Rey nodded as he listened to Eden's story. He felt her pain, she must have been alone. He was lucky he met the rabbit.
'So It wasn't only me.'
Rey mumbled inwardly. He found it weird that the flower spat him and Eden out far from the outpost. He wondered what happened to the flower near the outpost. He decided to investigate later.
"I see. I was also in the same situation, thankfully the odd rabbit led me here."
Rey scratched the back of his head. He didn't tell her how it took him several hours to make the rabbit lead him here.
"I'm also thankful for the rabbit. If it didn't create that dust trail, I don't know how long I'll be roaming the Savannah."
Rey chuckled in response. Her face was filled with respect towards the rabbit, he couldn't help but laugh a little. If the rabbit was here right now It would shamelessly beg Eden to rub its belly.
"Why are you laughing?"
Eden pouted as she puffed her cheeks. Rey flinched because of the question. He looked at her pouting face and his laughter broke out once more. He found Eden's expression cute, it reminded him of a squirrel.
"Nothing. Noth—PFFT."
As he was speaking Eden raised her hand threateningly to make him stop laughing, but this ended up backfiring and made him laugh even more. In Rey's mind she looked like an angry squirrel and he couldn't erase the thought from his brain.
"Answer. Me."
Rey instinctively stopped laughing. He could feel malice rising from Eden as she stood still gazing at him. Eden who had an expression akin to an angry squirrel now had a different one. She was smiling at Rey with her eyes closed.
'Uh oh.'
Rey gulped. He didn't mean to tease Eden, he just really found her expression cute and funny.
"Answer. Me."
The bracelets present under her sleeves started to crumble and reform. She was being covered by a faint light and a weapon was slowly forming in her hand.
'Why would she pull a weapon out? Is she crazy?'
Rey took a deep breath and calmed his mind. The person in front of him is probably just teasing him too.
"No answer? Guess I'll have to kil—"
"It's because I found you cute, okay? That's why it's funny."
"Huh?"
The faint glow that covered her slowly faded. The weapon didn't fully form and reformed back into a bracelet hidden under her sleeve. The answer surprised her. She wanted to threaten him into answering, she wasn't actually serious in trying to hurt him.
"I said I found you cute. Don't make me repeat again."
Rey was annoyed. He didn't want to say it, but he had to speak the truth. There's a chance that she might actually attack him. He could never be too safe.
"O-Oh."
Eden quickly turned around and faced the outpost in the distance. Her face was flushed, she was embarrassed that she got angry over something so trivial.
"L-Lets head to the outpost, shall we?"
"Sure...?"
Rey was confused, there was a sudden turn in her personality. He decided to ignore it, he was fine as long as she wasn't trying to kill him.

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.

New Escape
In a world not that unlike the present exists a fantastic technology to transfer one's consciousness into a game. A new frontier for video games has been opened, and my first experience in this world is an rpg. An escape from monotony and school has led me to experience a brand new world.(I originally lost my motivation for this story and kinda wanted to kill it, but I brought it into this world so I will fix it. I'll probably re-write the first chapters and include a more compelling story. Didn't really write the story for people to read in the first place and after I put it on here I stopped caring, but I am changed!(not too much but just a little))
