Ross and an Old Man enter.

Old man

Back in my day, I’d seen some horrors you young’uns can’t imagine. Our criminals were so much tougher and yet nobody dared to do some thing like this. We respected our kings.

Ross

(Rolling his eyes).

Yeah, yeah, ok boomer. Even the sky looks mad. It’s supposed to be day yet these clouds are blocking out the sun. I wonder if it’s dark because there’s such evil in the world.

Old Man

Ross

Some wicked rad shizz has been happening. Duncan’s horses, which are swift, beautiful and the best money can by, as all nobles deserve. Suddenly went wild and broke out of their stalls. Refusing to be obedient as the should. They seemed to think they were at war with all mankind.

Old Man

I heard the horses ate each other.

Ross

I saw that with my own two eyes, it was wicked gross. Here comes Macduff.

Ross
