《Survival Story Of A Swordsman In A Post-Apocalyptic World》Chapter 11

The man steps out of the door towards the front door of the building with his swords drawn. After arriving outside. He saw that some of the trees had fallen due to the massive force earlier. This man wears a black suit as all soldiers do. He has blue hair and eyes, his features tell that he is still in his early thirties. He is tall with long arms and legs.
"Such power… where could it have possibly came from." He started running towards the source of the explosion with very fast movement courtesy of his suit that enables someone to attain superhuman capabilities the moment they put it on. The suit works by burning the monster tissues loaded inside it that act as the energy source of raw physical capabilities. However, the moment it has burnt through. It would no longer be useful and the user must get a new one.
The moment he does so though. The entire three-story building got encased in thick earth walls from bottom to top. "What the?" He exclaimed as he began to go back. The moment he arrived. It is fully encased and there's no sign of an entrance. At that moment too, he saw a tall, muscular boy at the front of the building staring at it, just a few meters away from him, wearing a suit and is carrying a large, round metallic shield on his left arm.
"A kid?" He once again exclaimed. "Who are you kid? This is a dangerous area. Go away from here. Didn't you felt the explosion earlier? Also, you're wearing a suit. Where'd you got it?"
"We have a good amount of stock of suit here, mister. So naturally, I'll get one."
"Okay then. Step aside. I have people I need to protect inside. I'll make an entrance." He focused his right blade then got covered in lightning profusely that he stabbed through the air which in turn sent a bolt of lightning towards the wall making a hole big enough for him to enter.
"Leave kid. This could become a dangerous place later." He turned around and advised. As he gets near the wall. It closed. He suddenly then knew what it means. Turning around. He saw that the boy indeed simply waved his hand and this wall came to close.
"Leave mister. This will be a dangerous place later."

"What? Why are you doing this? You're just a kid and you're attacking us? What did you do to the soldiers on the other side?"
"They're dead." He coldly replied. "Leave, mister. We have nothing against you. We won't harm you in any way if you simply leave us alone."
"I can't do that. I have somebody to protect inside that building."
"He would be dead soon anyway. Leave. You're not on the list of those that have to die today. One last chance that I'm giving you this."
"Who's making you do this?"
"Me and my twin brother. It's only us. Nobody's making us do things. We're doing this on our own will."
"If you're killing people... Then you must be mature enough to understand things I assume?"
"Yes."
"Then I'll just have to incapacitate you to end your plans. I won't kill you kid, don't worry. I'm not a bad person, I'm simply doing my job as a bodyguard."
"If you really do have such a death wish, mister. I'll give it to you. I told you that's you're last chance to back out."
The boy raised his shield and the man prepared his blades. As they dashed towards each other. The man's lightning-infused blade can't even scratch the shield even though both of them struck it directly.
Using his other hand. The boy punches the man on his stomach which sent him flying tens of meters towards the forest trees surrounding the entire place.
Surprisingly. The man touches the ground with his feet first unscathed. "What raw power…" the man exclaimed. The face of the shield then suddenly appeared in front of him as it was hurled that blocks his vision on his front.
He defended against it and shoved it aside using his right sword then suddenly behind it is the boy whose fist was ready to strike. "Damn…" he mumbled as it hits his face directly, sending him far away once again.
At the end of his trajectory, he struck a tree that halted his movement.
As he spat up some blood. He noticed that one of his teeth simply came loose and fell onto the ground. "What the hell is this kid?"
The boy then arrived before him once again. "You okay, mister? I hope you won't die easily from that."

"Of course I'm not. But… Do you have to use such dirty tactics?"
"Calling it dirty is kinda rude. It's part of my technique anyway. But tell me. If I were to stop doing that. Will you even be able to satisfy me in a battle?"
"Of course. I'm confident." The man smirked.
"Well. I'm expecting a lot." The boy replied with a sick smile with glee.
They dashed once again towards each other. This time they exchange blows. The man infused his entire body with lightning and heads-on toe to toe with the boy. While the man simply dodges attacks with superior agility, the boy simply blocks it with absolute defense.
While mid-air, the man then attacked with his lightning-infused blade that the boy hastily blocked, which in turn caused a massive slash on the earth behind the latter as an effect of its tremendous shockwave. He then used his other unoccupied weapon to stab him on the stomach but the boy blocked it with his right arm in which the blade easily penetrated through and towards its designated target although it didn't get in much deeper.
The boy yelp in pain and a pillar of earth then rose above the ground then bludgeoned the man away, leaving his other blade stuck into the boy's body. The man touched the ground safely but clearly is in pain due to the previous attack, caressing his body.
The boy slowly took out the blade from his arms grunting while doing so and plunged it onto the ground. He grasps his hands in front of him and four tall walls of earth surround the man standing a few distances away from him and completely got encased when a ceiling appeared at the top. Surrounded in the darkness illuminated faintly by lightning coursing throughout his body. He has no clue as to what the boy would eventually do next.
"What's the point of keeping me here…? Where will he appear?" The man talked to himself. Suddenly, something bursts out of the ground beneath him, towards his face. He managed to dodge it but grazed his right cheek on the process. It was his sword when he came to see it clearly after it got stuck in the ceiling above he hurriedly tried picking it up by jumping. As soon as his hand touches it. The wall on his right bursts open, another attack from an earth pillar as big as him came hurling.
He used his blade and magic to cut it into many pieces and stopped it. Behind him though, the wall breaks, and the boy appeared with his fist ready once again. As the man's facing the opposite direction in contrast to his opponent. He can't react fast enough and although he managed to turn around. He can only block the punch by using his arms and once again as it hits him, he flung away and stumbles around the ground for quite a bit but during that. He regained balance and managed to get up quickly thereafter. He quickly focused his magic on his blades and made a series of long-ranged attacks using them. Slicing and dicing the earth walls where currently the boy is in. After doing that. His arms went limp as it drops down unintentionally. "Damn… that punch of his. My arms went numb."
After the walls crumbled down. There is no sight that the boy is injured. His shield's held high with an even more serious look on his face now.
"Dammit. I can't take this boy down like this…!" He sticks the sword on the ground and held his left hand towards the sky as if reaching for something. Suddenly, the clouds turned dark, and thunder could be heard. A bolt of lightning rush down upon the man and received it through his hand.
"That's bad. But you think I'll let you gather power while I'm standing here like shit?" The boy then dashed towards him at high speed he tried punching him but dodged. The boy closed the distance once again and the two exchanged blows. Although only using one hand. The man is on equal footing surprisingly. The boy then made a feint by trying to punch but instead kicks the man on the left thigh down forcefully. The man yelps and as he's going down. He slashes the boy from his left eye, across through the bottom right of his nose slitting both and rendering the earlier useless.
The man still managed to jump away using his right leg and continued the channeling at the safe distance.
Until it was finished.
