( Hey NOIS fans. Sorry this took so long I had a lot of school work to take care of. Now that school is coming to an end I will have more time to devote to NOIS here. However I am glad to see my daily views rise to about 180 views daily. As a treat If I can make it 200 daily views I can answer the question on how I came up with this team. Until then Please enjoy this chapter.)
Onyx had rushed to the training grounds near the edge of school property. When he arrived he had found that it was in shreds. The training equipment was all over the place and covered in claw marks. Upon further investigation he found in the gate that separated the school training grounds from the Emerald forest had a huge hole in it. As soon as he saw the hole in the gate Onyx rushed to the broken gate and noticed on the forest side he could barely make out a long silver pole sticking out of the ground. He immediately recognized it as Omni, Bastian’s spear.
Onyx wasted no time getting his scroll out and texted a message to the other two telling them what he saw and that he was going into the forest to find the disarmed giant. As soon as the message had been sent he grabbed the spear and ran into the forest following the carnage of broken branches. A few moments of walking in the dark green forest he finally came to the end of the broken branch path. He looked around hoping to see his friend but all he could see was the large overbearing trees. Suddenly he heard a snap in section of forest behind him.
“Bastian,” he said aloud. Instead of his friend onyx saw large glowing yellow eyes and a deep monstrous growl. “Okay maybe not,” all of a sudden a flash of black and white lunged at him onyx dodged with ease. Once he regained his stance he noticed the grimm that attacked him was a Beowulf. “Huh, the one time I don’t bring my weapon,” Onyx said as the massive beast tried to strike him. “I guess I’ll just borrow this one.” Onyx then tried to transform Omni to its bow form to fight the Beowulf. Once the spear transformed he pulled the bow string back to make an arrow, however he quickly found out why the spear was ditched… it was out of dust ammo. “Okay I’ll have to fight this caveman style… at least there’s only one.” Immediately after he said that a huge group or the Beowulves appeared. “Never mind.”

Onyx lunged with the spear at one killing it. He then found himself surrounded by the Grimm. Before they could attack a flash of Blue and white came knocking the Beowulves over. Onyx looked up and found he was staring at what he thought was albino Ursa grimm. Before he could react the Ursa just started attacking the Beowulves leaving Onyx alone. Onyx decided to not look a gift horse in the mouth and started attacking the Beowulves that the massive bear creature missed. For a while the two managed to hold their own however after a bit though they became very overwhelmed by the massive waves of beasts attacking them. Onyx felt the spear getting heavier; he wasn’t used to using a weapon that wasn’t attached to his arms.
Then when he least expected it he slipped and a Bunch of Beowulves leapt at him. Their claws were just scraping him when a huge red blast came and demolished the grimm monsters. Onyx looked up to see a fully armed Ivan and Noir coming to his aid. By this point there were an only handful of grimm left and Noir swiftly took care of all of them slashing and stabbing all the normal colored grim. By the time he finished his swordplay the only grimm standing was the oddly colored Ursa.
“Are you two alright?” Noir asked Onyx and the Ursa.
“Yeah but why’d you spare the Ursa?” Onyx inquired nervously. The Ursa then started to grow smaller and no longer glowing. Once the transformation had been completed where the Ursa was standing was Bastian who looked just as exhausted as Onyx. “Bastian?”
“Yeah, my semblance is I can turn into different Grimm,” Bastian said in response to his friends curiosity.
“That’s an odd ability,” Ivan said after finally catching up to the other three.

“Whatever wolf boy,” Bastian said.
“Before another fight ensues, Bastian,” Noir began “Bastian earlier I wasn’t trying to cause a problem or infringe on your privacy, I just think maybe you should tone down the violence and save it for well the grimm. Deal?” Noir then extended his hand. Bastian stared for awhile. Then Bastian shook his friend’s hand. “Good, Now what happened?”
“Well to start I came to the training ground to hone my skills. I have been doing this since I lost to Pyrrha Nikos. Right in the middle of training I got attacked by a bunch of Beowulves who came through the gate after dealing with them I saw a shady figure run away. I shot my last dust arrows but missed him. Afterwards, I transformed and started following him. I ended up losing him and then noticed Onyx trying to fight the Beowulf pack by himself and the rest should be a bit self explanatory.”
“Well I think it would be best not to keep going. Let’s head back and get to bed,” Noir suggested. The other three boys nodded in agreement and started heading back. They had just started walking away when Ivan heard something buzzing.
“Get down,” the faunus yelled as he tackled Noir to the ground before a buzz saw blade cut him. The four boys then saw the buzz saw swerve up and attach itself to a handgun held by a sinister looking man in a tree.
“It seems a target just comes to me,” the man said wickedly. “ Oh how lucky I am.”

Numbers Continually Going Upward
The world has very politely ended in the most webfiction way possible. Everyone is now leveling up in various things. Problems are arising. Some or all of those problems may be based around how to have a community barbeque when the nearest cow has been teleported to a few thousand miles away, along with the nearest supermarket. Join our protagoinst as he attempts to be a cool person, while everything falls apart. _____It turns out that any attempt to write a parody of the litrpg genre through overuse of the concept of leveling up inevitably fails when it turns out that *that is what the genre is based on*. Still, this was a fun little candy project of mine, and I might write more of it.

The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist. Book 2... has now begun! Updates Monday and Thursday
