Dragon’s Domain’s Side
Vyviir the Ancient, The Oldest And Most Powerful Dragon
Description: “Tread not into the mountains and caves, nor into the lands in which the draconians dwell, for you would tread upon the lands owned by one with the power to scorch the world a hundred times over. To risk the wrath of that One and his ilk is to face oblivion, or a fate worse than that by far..”
So goes an old lesson spoken to all who live within the basin that lays surrounded by the feet of the Dragonspire Mountain Range, and those with sense obey the cautious, fearful words of their elders. These are lands they are not the owners of, after all. They are permitted to live here, seemingly independent but always beholden to the capricious whims of the dragons who rule the lands around them.
Some would seek to fight back, but those that do find themselves dead, or worse, turned into more treasure to fill the hordes of the massive dragons. But there is always a bigger fish, no? And the Dragons came from somewhere.
Vyviir the Ancient was the first, and it is quite possible that he will be the last of his kind. All those pure dragons that live were born from him, either by his own will or by his union with other beings. After generations of heavily regulated breeding, his kind that survive to this day are about as pure blood-wise as he himself, though none are as old nor as powerful as he himself.
All those in these lands belong to him, for they are naught but more possessions, more toys for him to play with when he grows bored, and naught besides but more pieces of treasure to be added to the horde that his kin create, not merely for themselves but also for their venerable Father.
His breath is oblivion, his will is beyond that of stars, and his patience can exceed that of stone. And yet, for ages he has lain beneath the mountains, waiting for someone to return from the nothingness that he knows cannot keep him contained for long. Despite what that being wants, Vyviir is crafty and so are his kin.

Vyviir will get what he wants, whether his Lord and Master wants it or not. After all, what harm is there in establishing a relationship between his Master and his Heir, especially when it is unlikely that his Master knows the ins and outs of modern Draconic Courtship?
And what his Master will have, after that deal has been done, will belong to his Heir, and then, by proxy, to he himself as well. With just a few actions and a few words, the whole of the Alliance will belong to him, and with it, the whole of the New World. The odd thing is, though, while this ambition is grand, his behavior as of late has escalated to an absurd degree.
Vyviir was ambitious before, but now it is as if a whole new personality has come to the front, as he has seemingly changed, and maybe not for the better.

Monarkea the Dragon-Lord, The Firstborn of The Ancient and His Heir
Description: “Though the Ancient slumbers, his Heir still rules in his place. To think that the Dragon-Lord cannot hear you plot against her reign is beyond foolish, and downright suicidal. And, unlike her Father, the Dragon-Lord has little patience for those who seek to destabilize her Father’s realm. If you wish to live, play the role that you are given as best as you can, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll live to be let loose from this land.”
Monarkea is everything her father is and more, but all of it is altered as she was from the mold. Where her father can watch and wait for millennia as his pawns and pieces take their places, Monarkea seeks to see the puppets dance sooner rather than later. While her father’s wrath is great, it is measured and selective. Monarkea on the other hand is a true Western Dragon, and is cruel, capricious, callous, heartless, and utterly merciless while possessing a scope of pettiness and vindictiveness that would make even the worst of tyrants and despots look tame.
But while she routinely razes the lands occupied by those within the basin, wiping the slate clean again and again in the fires of war and slaughter, she always uses her power to restore that which was erased back to its previous state. She may let them keep their memories, or she may make them forget all about the past few weeks or months that led up to their eradication, but without them, she would have to turn her avaricious and malicious gaze elsewhere, and there are already powers beyond her borders that, if allied together, cold easily bring her down.

And so, she makes the puppets dance eternally, to keep her entertained, fed, and supplied with endless treasure. She has learned from her father that a new prize, the greatest, most valuable, most precious, and wonderful of all possible treasures, has made its way to the New World, and better still, to her kingdom of draconic tyranny.
She has no illusions of her ability to keep her Lord at her side forever and ever, but while she knows he would be against a union, she has ways of getting him into her horde forever, even if he doesn’t know it at the time, or even ever after. He will no doubt wander away, but she will have hers, and even when he does leave, he will belong to her ad infinitum, along with all the priceless things he owns.
Or, rather, that she will soon own. And as for her father’s ambition to rule the Alliance and then the whole of the New World? She cares not for that. Vaile is the only prize worth her attention, and what would be the point in owning the whole world, anyway?
She’s already the God of this sandbox, and she has had yet to find a reason to want to expand its borders.

“Chosen Hero’s” Side
Axis Wode, The So-Called ‘Dragon Bane’ Who Seeks Glory Unimaginable
Description: When one thinks of the term ‘Hero’, they usually picture some brave, noble person, usually a male, in typical shining knight armor with a sword in one hand and a fair maiden (or more, if we are in a certain genre) in the other.
But that kind of Hero is dumb and boring, and has been done a thousand, thousand times, and nobody wants to deal with someone denser than a neutron star when it comes to love, now do they? Such protagonists are overdone and utterly pathetic, nothing more than empty vessels for others to fill with themselves.
Axis Wode, however, is every single one of these things and more. He is, without a doubt, the blandest, boring, generic ‘Hero’ you could ever imagine, with the most creative thing about him being his name.
This, of course, is by design. He is a bland, generic person that everyone can’t help but love for no discernable reason, around whom the world rallies despite the fact that he has less personality than a lump of unmolded clay.
But who would create such a generic, cookie-cutter ‘Hero’ with such power? Why the ‘Goddess’ of course! It was his destiny that he rise and face oblivion, after all! That was what the voice in the light told him when he was in church one day, so it must be true!
Besides, he has the unnatural ability to get everyone around to work with him despite his personality being less flavorful than a stale piece of hardtack cracker! Surely he can’t be leading everyone into certain doom like the other former Heroes had. They failed and the Goddess had to reset things because they were… well, they were exactly like him for the most part, but that means nothing!
He has to win this and defeat the Dragon-Lord and save his girlfriend named Monarcia, who is certainly not Monarkea the Dragon-Lord in disguise! After all, he’s the greatest, so of course he would know if he was being led on by an evil super dragon!

The Saga of Armageddon: The Call of Crows
Bjorn Stormtamer's world has been turned upside down in more ways than one. His shipmates have left him for dead on an island for quarantining victims of a disease that he now has. His partner in battle despises him, his family thinks he's dead and everyone else thinks it was good riddance. Moreover, the world is under attack by a virulent plague that kills with light and an empire from the east whose intentions are unknown but whose methods are merciless and bloodthirsty. Little does he know that the world itself is nearly on the brink of cosmic collapse. But when a bold, charismatic woman from another nation seeks him out, Bjorn discovers that the plague he has was not a plague at all, but a trial. A trial to determine who is worthy to wield the power of gods in order to give humanity a fighting chance against the winds of fate. This novel was written 2 years ago and isn't exactly my best work. I'm still improving my skills, but I encourage you to enjoy it for what it's worth. ALSO, the whole plague thing was written about before the COVID pandemic. The plague is fake and actually magic in the story, but that has NOTHING to do with real world events. I am under NO CIRCUMSTANCE trying to make ANY kind of statement with it. Please just enjoy the story and stay safe.
