《Warped World: The Nether Dungeon》Chapter 3 Information and Headaches

“Alright moment of truth, Umbra, how do I start exactly? The tutorial was not helpful in this regard.”
Umbra smiled at me and said “oh it's not supposed to be helpful that's what dungeon fairies are for. We are trained for years with the knowledge to best assist our dungeon with growth and development!”
“Then what's the point of the tutorial?”
“Its only purpose is to make sure you summon your fairy, although it's still an asshole considering how it treats new dungeons.”
She shrugged while she told me that. Really the tutorials only purpose is to make sure dungeons summon fairies to help them, that seems like a waste of time, or someone really wanted to fuck with new dungeons. Oh well onto more important matters. “So how do we start Umbra?
“Say or think the phrase (Create Dungeon) to begin, and we will go from there.”
(Create Dungeon)

“Okay Umbra, I’m confused. I thought that I would just pick something simple like a monster and start making my dungeon. What the fuck is this shit I’m looking at!”
“You did read the message, right? You swear a binding oath to one of the Nether Gods and then they give you some choices to start your dungeon as well as allow you to pick one of the domains that belong to them to enhance it and add other special effects. They don’t do hand holding and tell you what they offer, the freedom of choice without outside temptation is important to them. When you pick one of them then you get to know your real options.”

Umbra explained how the Nether Court Gods operate but it's still frustrating. I mean how am I supposed to know if I made a good choice if the only information, they give is their name and title.
Umbra looked really uncomfortable, her wings drooped, and her smile faded before she sighed again. “Alaric, know that once you declare who you will follow first it can’t be taken back. Whoever you think or say first is whose power you will have to rely on for a while. So, make sure you're ready, there is no turning back from this choice. By the Law of Choice, I can’t interfere with your pick by sharing my knowledge but after you pick, I can advise you based on what I know.”
Alright so I have to choose who to bind myself and my dungeon to without any foresight. Okay should be easy enough, I just don’t want to let Umbra down she seems really nice, pick one and start building. “I choose Havoc Matron of Devastation as the first Nether God.”
Thus, it was spoken thus it shall be. What is given in faith cannot be taken back without paying a terrible cost.
For Choosing Havoc Matron of Devastation, she allows you to pick one of the following:
The Horde: Bound by blood, relentless outcasts. Strengths: Choice of either The Savage Horde or The Cold Blooded Horde, Good variety of races and classes. Weakness: Slow buildup of powerful classes, infighting if no strong leaders exist.
Bruteras Raiders: Masters of assault, vicious warriors. Strengths: Havoc’s chosen people. Weakness: Will turn on each other if there are no enemies.
When you have made your choice choose the following Passive will take effect of all floors dedicated to Havoc:
Rage Fueled Supremacy- Once a month the monsters on floors dedicated to Havoc will fall into a rage fueled frenzy in which they will attack invaders and other dungeon monsters to prove themselves in battle, Unlocks special classes for monsters on these floors, Only way to acquire Boss monsters on Havoc floors.

“Umbra you’re seeing this right, can you explain now?”
“Yes, I can.” Umbra said, clearly happier now that my choice is made. “Havoc is the Nether God of War in case it wasn’t obvious. As such she loves combat more than anything. This translates to a higher success rate for combatants at an earlier stage then the others. Another difference is that Havoc focused dungeons are all affected by Rage Fueled Supremacy and cannot make boss monsters; they must earn that position by killing invaders or other monsters on the floor. This results in smarter bosses focused on using the skills they develop.”
“So what you mean is these types of monsters are kind of jack of all trades when summoned, but specialize as they fight?” I asked another maybe obvious question.
“Yes” Umbra replied and now she is smiling so much. She really loves advising and answering questions. I mean they seem to be improving her mood. “Havoc’s forces gain classes easier than any other Nether Gods does. This makes them diverse and perfect for almost any situation.”
“Nice so what would you say is the better option between The Horde and The Bruteras Raiders then or is there no tangible difference?”
Umbra got really quiet, and I could tell she was thinking. She even landed back on the floor, then she told me. “The only real difference between them is that The Bruteras Raiders serve Havoc exclusively and won’t synergize with the powers and passives of the other Nether Gods while The Horde would. Its power in the short term versus power in the long term. I’d recommend The Horde to take advantage of any possible synergies that may exist even if The Bruteras Raiders would be stronger in the start.” She flew up and landed next to my core smiling.
Oh, now I’m starting to get excited again. While the combination might not be that large, they focus what my creatures will do and become better at. Still one thing is starting to nag at me, aw I see it now my Name of Power would synchronize great with Rage Fueled Supremacy and The Horde. I should confirm my theory with Umbra first. I Hope I’m right.
“Hey Umbra! I just had a thought, wouldn't my Name of Power and Rage Fueled Supremacy synchronize well together and fit in perfectly with The Horde choice?”
“You are correct my mighty core. Your Name of Power strengthens your lands and monsters making them better as they grow. Combined with Rage Fueled Supremacy you would end up with powerful intelligent bosses and mini-boss monsters. Also, The Horde has a special effect. If chosen you may choose to embrace the Cold Blooded Horde, reptile-like monsters, or the Savage Horde, mammal-like monsters.”
Alright now we're getting somewhere, so I now know what I want, and this will be awesome. “Select The Horde”
After choosing the Horde I was greeted by another choice just like Umbra said I would.
Savage Horde | Cold Blooded Horde, Please Select Horde Focus
“Select (Savage Horde)”
Once my choice was made a warm fuzzy feeling like a giant hug covered my entire core and slowly dissipated over a few seconds.
