The Infinite Void
“Well, well, well, look who finally came back. Did you do anything interesting while you were out Havoc?” A sweet innocent voice spoke. How unfortunate that it belonged to the least innocent Goddess that I know.
“Ahh Chaos, do I have Psychosis to thank for the luck of running into you when I get back from business.” I replied not trying to hide my disdain for her. Out of everybody why did it have to be her, I would rather listen to one of Boon’s lectures on peace than be in the same place with this manipulative bitch.
“Come on Havoc don’t be like that after all what would the others say if I told them, you were sneaking out when their backs are turned?”
“Is that supposed to be a threat, Chaos?” I responded.
“No, not at all. I just think they would be interested in knowing why you went to Knariss is all. I mean you said the entire world was worthless after the Belfa Pantheon won the God war for it and the Ruinicwise Patheon was banished. You were the only one of us to support them after all.”
“That is exactly what I call a threat. I have a right to check in on dungeons that build floors in my name. Plus, what does it matter now that I supported the Ruinicwise Pantheon, we locked them up while they wait for the chance to challenge another pantheon to a God war.” Why is she bringing this up anyway? It's old news. Unless, no way there is no possible way she knows. Does she? One way to find out.
“What's the point in bringing them up Chaos? It's not like anything changed after all.”
“Deanbeak escaped and tried to go back and take Knariss by himself!" Chaos replied a little to enthusiastically if you ask me.
“So, what if Deanbeak escaped and went to Knariss I was just there and I didn’t even sense his presence.” I replied. Now let's see if Chaos lets any information slip.
Chaos had a face splitting smile when she said “That's because Anarchy killed him 10 years ago, he only told Ruin and Sorrow.”

I have never been happier that my humanoid form is an armored titan or Chaos might have seen my expression. So that's why he didn’t report when he was supposed to. This still doesn't make any sense Anarchy isn’t known for outright killing those that cross him. His typical style is to trap them in a never ending nightmare until he gets more information or forgets he has them trapped. Why would he kill Deanbeak?
As I tried to think of a possible reason why Anarchy would just up and kill another deity, even if Deanbeak was a lesser deity compared to us. There has to be something I’m missing, some piece of information that will bring this all together. I glanced over at Chaos, she looked like she might pass out from trying to hold in her laughter. Before I could even ask what, she found so funny she spoke up. “Oh, ho ho I can tell even if that armored form of yours hides your face, Havoc, you're wondering why Anarchy killed Deanbeak aren’t you. It took me some time to figure it out myself, I asked Psychosis, you remember Faun Sway and Lyrox right, the ones that struck the final blow and won the war for the Belfa Pantheon. Well Faun Sway is one of Anarchy’s daughters, and Lyrox is one of Sorrow’s sons”
I don’t get it, if memory serves both of them are pretty strong Void born. They shouldn’t have been in any danger from Deanbeak.
“Oh, Havoc I just love it when you get quiet and try to think things through like this. It's adorable, like watching a cat try and figure out why they can’t walk through plastic wrap. Since it looks like you thinking is going to take a while, I'll tell you. After he escaped Deanbeak managed to steal one of Ruin’s scythes. I’m sure you remember that those things are strong enough to kill Void born right.”
Shit shit shit that's why he was mad enough to kill him on sight. Out of everything that dumbass Deanbeak could have done he decided to steal a Reaper Scythe from Ruin. Oh well at least that explains why anarchy killed him Deanbeak did swear revenge against Faun Sway and Lyrox, and with him possessing a Reaper Scythe the threat to them was real enough to warrant death. Now to get the hell away from Chaos I’ve had enough of her to last the next 1000 years.

“Wait a minute Havoc I have two more things to tell you. One Anarchy told me to give you this note and two that he and Ruin will be busy for a while because of an incident that happened a few days ago.” Chaos said a little out of breath from catching up to me.
“Thank you for the note I guess, and what kind of incident?”
Once she caught her breath Chaos told me "Nothing major, just 97% of the Vampire race tried to betray him, he cursed them and stripped them of the majority of their powers so Ruin stepped in and stopped him from just throwing them away. They are working out a deal, I’m pretty sure she's going to become the Vampire's new God after all is said and done, while he keeps the 3% that stayed loyal to him.”
That is interesting. I wonder if I could poach some of them before the deal is struck. Well anyway that's a problem for the future. “Thank you and goodbye Chaos, hopefully the next meeting won’t be for a long long long time.” And with that I stormed off back to my section of the Infinite Void.
Once I was back within the walls of my citadel, I pulled out Anarchy’s message. Better to get this over with now before he finds me and assumes I read it.
“Yo, Havoc how's it going? I know I would normally just break into your citadel to talk to you directly but I have a little issue to address at the moment. By now I’m pretty sure Chaos has gotten on your nerves and you want nothing more than to forget about her and plan your next war right. Well too bad, I ripped some information out of Deanbeak’s soul 10 years ago and imagine my surprise when I found out you helped him escape from his cell. Now I’m sure you are probably sweating right about now but don’t worry I’m not mad at you, anymore, I killed him and returned the scythe to Ruin so no harm no foul right. That's what you want me to say right, so sorry to disappoint you but I’m still incredibly livid about that whole thing. You put my child in danger and that I will not forgive easily, you may subject your children to these types of mad challenges but not mine. That being said, I have already decided how I’m going to punish you for it. I gave Chaos permission to add two and only two types of magic to the floors dedicated to you in our dungeon on Knariss. I didn’t ask nor do I care what types she chooses to give, that's up to her. The second thing I want to say is that I removed Ogres from the selections on your floors and replaced them with a secret horde type. I’ll give you a hint they must consume the flesh of a sapient to transform and become unlocked. Well, that should be everything, oh yeah almost forgot, IF YOU EVER GO BEHIND OUR BACKS AND FREE ANYONE WE DECIDED TO CONTAIN FOR YOUR OWN STUPID REASONS. I WILL PERSONALLY ENSURE THAT IT WILL TAKE NO LESS THAN 10,000,000 YEARS BEFORE YOU ARE CAPABLE OF EVEN SETTING FOOT OUTSIDE THE INFINITE VOID, AND INTERACTING WITH YOUR FOLLOWERS OR ANY MORTAL BEING AGAIN!”
It took me three days to stop shaking with fear from his message, but it was perfectly clear i got off easy this time. I just need to keep my head down and lay low for a while. Wait he said he told Chaos she could alter my floors and he removed Ogres from the selection. Damn well nothing I can do unless I fight him over this, better just hope Chaos gives some good destructive magic and the mystery monster Anarchy replaced Ogres with is good at killing.
