"Jack over here!" Someone yelled as Jack walked into the underground fight club. Jack started looking around to find the orgin of the voice that called out to him, but Jack couldn't find it and soon noticed someone. Jack saw a figure staring at him from across the room, without hesitation he retured the gaze and started walking towards the individual. As Jack got closer to the figure, both of them reached behind them to grab whatever weapons they carried. But before Jack could confront the figure, a hand was on his chest holding him back and the stranger. "Jack I was calling you since you came in, didn't realize you wanted to pick your own fight. Jack I want you to meet John, John I want you t-" Before Tyson could finish speaking John stood up and got up close to Jack's face. "So you're the one that's responsible for what happed in Caracuss." John said with a neutral face and a monotone voice. "You know you're on everybody's shit list right?" John said as he placed his hand on the side of his hip. Jack noticed John's movment and made a fist as tight as he could and moved his torso so that way it would be easier to land a punch and avoid taking any unwanted hits.
"Relax hotshot."John said as he reached into his back pocket to pull out a green chip. Jack simply stared in disbelief. He could't believe that he's finally meeting someone that's richer than the top one percent. "How the hell did you remove your chip off the back of your hand?" Jack blurted out before he gather his thoughts. "Having money and power can help you get whatever you desire." John said he held out his hand to offer Jack the oppurtunity to look at his chip. Jack simply stared at the chip and then back to John.

"Whatever" Jack said in a cold voice and turned to look at Tyson. "Who's ass am I going to have too kick to get you in on this job?" Jack said whilst shoving Tyson's arm away from him. "You've got a job that needs help?" John said before Tyson could respond. "Yeah, but I don't need your help, I need Tyson's." Jack said with a raised voice and scowl on his face. "Guy's cool it!" Tyson said as he once again got in between both of them. "Jack, he could finance what we need so that way we won't have to steal anything and not bring any heat to us." Tyson said a quietly as he could but loud enough for Jack to hear.
"Fine, if you want to be part of this job, you will need to carry your own weight. The last thing we need is some egomaniac to ruin this whole thing." Jack said with a threating voice. "I can keep up if that's what you're worried about." John said as he looked Jack right in the eye's. " Don't think for a second that I will save your ass, if you fall behind, you will be left behind." Jack said with a strange but calm voice. "Here take this." Jack held out his hand and in it was his plane ticket. "Go to Missiouri and go to this location. it's a safehouse and out meeting point before we do this job." Jack said and turned around to walk away from Tyson and John.
As Jack got closer to the ring, he looked up above the ring and saw two seprate name tags being randomized. Tyson soon caught up to Jack and asked Jack what that whole interaction was about couple minutes ago. "John is an unknown element, I don't like brining on people that I don't know." Jack said as he watched the name tags flicker a breakneck speed. "He can finance what we need and potentially make the job easier."Tyson said as he joined Jack to look up at the flickering name's that are changing every milisecond. " Trust him or not, we need him." Tyson said. "To have somebody richer than the one percent backing you up on this job is unheard of." Tyson said. Jack decided to ignore what Tyson said and took a deep breath. "So who's my fight?" Jack said in a monotone voice. "Devin" Tyson responded. "If you want my help, I want to know you can atleast handle fighting your own devil." Tyson said as he folded his arms and allowed a smirk to grow on his face.

"If you want an easier fight let me know, I can fix the fight in your favor." Tyson said with grin and a condescending tone. "I got this" Jack said before he left Tyson alone and to step up to the gate of the ring. "Hey what's wrong with you stupid" one of the crewmember's said. "You're not on the roster for this hour." Another crewmember said. "Relax guy's" Tyson said with a laid back tone. "He's our main event tonight. Jack versus Devin." Tyson said? "If these to gentlemen want to step into the ring to knock each other out early, why should we stop them." Tyson said with a serious face. "Alright boss" a crewmember said before climbing up onto the edge of a platform to open the gate the led into the area. "You're going to need all the luck you have tonight." Tyson said before walking away from the cage and over to the bar. Jack simply once again ignored what Tyson said and started disrobing himself until he was just wearing his briefs.
"You ready?" the referee said to Jack. Jack simply adapted to a fight stance and the referee soon asked his opponet that same thing. Devin soon brought his arms up and Jack noticed that he had put on quite some mussle. "Shit, Tyson wasen't joking. I will need to be lucky." Jack thought to himself. Next thing Jack knew was the bell had rung and Devin was running right towards Jack with the intent to kill.

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y
