Anna stretched her body as they left the arena, “The rest of the tournament is going to be held next weekend. So, we have a week to work on our teamwork. But tonight, we should get some sleep, we still have school tomorrow.” Vincent was excited for the next battle but he was a little depressed, “Man, why does the next round have to be next week?” Justin answered Vincent’s question, “Because they don’t want the tournament to get in the way of our education. Well, they can only do this for the city qualifiers. The further you go into the tournament, the more matches we’d have to play in a single day. It’s a logistics thing. At that level, the tournament organizers would have to provide us with accommodations.” Vincent nods reluctantly.
The following day, classes had just finished and Justin and Vincent went to the club room. Along the way, they ran into Anna, she was carrying a stack of books and papers, “Hey guys, I can’t make it to the club right now. I have to help my teacher at the moment. So why don’t you guys get started and train while I help Miss Ryan with a couple of things. I’ll drop by the club later, then we’ll practice our teamwork, okay?” Both Vincent and Justin nodded, “Sure, in the meantime, we’ll work on a two-person combination strategy.”
Justin then led Vincent towards the club room, “Alright amateur, I’ll show you a few of my moves and you follow my lead. Since Anna won’t be here for a while, I’ll be the team leader.” Vincent argued, “Why do you get to be the leader? I think I deserve a shot at being captain.” Justin snorts. When Justin and Vincent entered the club room, someone was already there. He was going through the card album.
Frank had been released from the hospital over the weekend. The doctor told him that he could not start classes yet, he had to wait a few days. But when he asked, “Hey, doc, I know I’m not allowed to attend classes yet or do any sports but what about games?” His doctor asks, “You mean video games?” Frank was quiet for a few seconds before giving an awkward answer, “Sure, let’s go with that.” The doctor looked at Frank’s medical records on his tablet, “If it's just video games, then I guess it is okay. Just don’t push yourself. It’s just a video game so don’t overdo it.”

Frank placed his hands together as if to offer a prayer and he muttered as he looked at the ceiling, “Thank you.” It had been a day since he was discharged from the hospital. And the first thing he did after getting his freedom from being stuck in a hospital room for the past few weeks, was to visit his club room. When he got to the club room, he reminisce about the time he had spent playing with his team. Sadly, most of them had graduated and all that was left of the club were himself and Anna.
Arriving at the club room, Frank watched the most recent battles the club had conducted. He watched how Justin and Vincent saved JoJo. He also saw the battle Anna and Vincent had against Danny. As he watched the matches, Frank took notes on the performance of his team, “Individually, Justin and Vincent are not bad. But since this was recorded some time ago, I expect them to have improved their performance. Their battle in the qualifiers was not bad but they lack coordination.” After jotting down his opinion, Frank picked up the club’s card album to look for any new cards. While he was doing so, he heard the doorknob being turned. Then Justin and Vincent came in.
Seeing the new arrivals, Frank held out his hand, “Hi”. When Justin and Vincent saw the unknown newcomer, Justin reluctantly shakes the man’s hand, “Hi”. Justin found this new person to be suspicious. Because he remembered that the club room was supposed to be locked, but there was someone in there. And when he opened the door, he found that it was already unlocked. Vincent also shook Frank’s hand and he asks, “Who are you? And how did you get in here?” Shaking their hands, Frank introduced himself, “Vincent and Justin right? Hi, I’m Frank” Justin and Vincent were both suspicious of the newcomer, “Frank, right? Why don’t you tell us how you got in here? Before we call security.”

Frank just laughed at their threat. Frank then gave them a suggestion after an idea popped into his head, "Don’t these two know about me? Maybe I can have some fun with this." “How about this, I’ll face the two of you in a battle. And if you manage to beat me, I'll skedaddle.” Then Justin asks, “And what if you win?” Frank grinned evilly, “Well, I get to do whatever I want and you two have to do what I say. How about that.” Justin was contemplating but Vincent immediately answered, “We’ll accept your terms.” Justin hits Vincent on the back of his head, Vincent scowled at Justin, “What the heck was that for?” Justin glared at Vincent, “You idiot. The terms were primarily in his favor, why would you agree to it.” Vincent replies, “Because I want to battle, and besides, we already won two battles in the tournament, I think we can take this guy, no problem.” Frank could hear their discussion and he scoffed and muttered, “You’re letting the victories get to your head. Looks like it’s my responsibility to bring you down a notch.”
All three of them entered the cockpit pods. The mechanical voice spoke, “Initiating display. Field selected: Forest.” Frank placed his base reader on the panel and his information was displayed. Then, a holographic werewolf appeared above the panel. It had two bits attached to the side of each shoulder and it held a sniper rifle in its hands. The wolf also had a large cannon on its back and it pointed upwards. The wolf appeared in the launch tunnel and the blue lights had turned red. Frank said, “Frank Evans, Predator, hunting down the target!” Frank’s Predator was catapulted into the battlefield. Upon entering the battlefield, Frank immediately took cover. He dived into the forest and crawled on the ground, as he hid under the thicket of trees.
Vincent and Justin both arrived on the battlefield and searched for their opponent but Frank was nowhere to be seen. Justin was unable to detect Frank on his radar. Both of them stood on a cliff overlooking a valley filled with vibrant green trees and a river running right through it. Justin then gave his order, “You stay here and watch for any suspicious activity, while I fly overhead and scan the perimeter.” A while after Justin took off, Vincent left his post, “Why do I have to listen to you? You’re not the captain, and you’ve been badmouthing me all this time. So, I’ll just stick to my own thing.” Vincent dashed his Jakqoo V across the cliffside, unaware that a pair of red eyes were observing him from behind the trees. Inside his cockpit, Frank sneered. “Unless you have a clear strategy, you shouldn’t have split up. It looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me.”
