《Chakra Spider》Chapter 20

Watching them leave, Gwen wanted to call out to Peter but held back as she didn't Jess to attack again. Now they were stuck inside an unknown place until the owners came back from their business.
Jess gave her a smirk before leaving but she didn't understand what it meant but it must have been a challenge of some kind.
Turning to the other girl called Cindy as she remembered the introduction and the screams of pleasure. That brought back a pleasurable tingle and tiredness.
Her body was completely exhausted from this wild time and needed food to recover.
'Damn, it's starting to hurt. Come back quickly Peter.' Gwen thought as her stomach growled and she wasn't the only one.
"He isn't coming back anytime soon."
Gwen and Cindy heard the voice and looked around to find a cute little spider sitting on top of the table. Their senses had led them to spot it.
"Who are you?" Gwen asked cautiously
"You can call me Yami. I am the source of Peter's power and the connection between you three or else you might have ended up in a worse situation. Take Peter out of the equation and you would have been enjoying a girl on girl action in public." Yami replied and gave a short chuckle. Her appearance was cute and her voice was very charming that even being a girl, Gwen wanted to hear it more.
"You are the immortal?"
"Why do you look so cute?" Cindy asked and Gwen looked at her with shock
"I like cute things, got a problem with that." Yami replied without taking any offence as she enjoyed their expressions and emotions.
"Nah, I am cool with it."
"Yes, I am Immortal but that is my father whom Peter spoke about. Now I wouldn't need to appear here but you need my help. You can't stay away from your family for days and I am not going to follow you around so I will give you the basic skills to control your body strength. This will allow you to continue your normal life and you can think over the decision of joining us again." Yami said as she sent the information into their heads and they felt the change clearly as the body finally felt like it was theirs.

"Being a hero means, you will have to leave whenever something comes up. It can be your loved ones birthday, funeral, wedding or whatever. It can be your important break and opportunity. You could die at any moment for strangers. You will not get rewarded in any way.
You could endanger your loved ones and suffer a fate worse than death. That is what a life of a hero means." Yami continued and showed them images of gruesome ends.
She wanted strong partners by his side not some bitches that would cause more trouble than they are worth.
Of course she knew their counter parts but those girls had lived through a different life. Spider Gwen was a completely different girl and Silk had been stuck in a bunker for a long time.
Looking at the sickening scenes scared them and almost made them throw up.
Her words finally reminded them of the things they had ignored while under the affect of the connection.
Their lives would be greatly affected. They would have to sacrifice it for total strangers. Their families could be put in danger.
"That is not enough to scare me away. We are in danger of dying every day as nobody knows when death will come for them. Healthy people can die in their sleep without any indication. Villains attack can happen unexpectedly, destroying city blocks. How are we actually safer by not fighting? We are technically only alive by chance and can die by chance.
By fighting as heroes we can actually prevent such things from happening and destroying our lives. Unlike our weak old selves, now we have the chance to actually make a difference.
My father is a great cop. He would understand why I took this path so I will tell him honestly and put my trust in Peter as he must have something planned for this situation." Gwen calmed herself and gave her answer to Yami.

Hearing those words, Cindy's mind operated fast and understood her points but her parents were never going to let her do this.
For her it would have to be a secret.
Even if she understood the point it was scary. She could die any time every day but here she would be jumping towards it.
"I am impressed by your courage Gwen and you made the right choice. This is your basic suit for now and you can try improving it with Peter's help." Yami gave her Spider Gwen's suit and also gave her the storage seal.
"I need more time to think about it." Cindy muttered
"You will be hunted sooner or later by people that hunt spiders so you will need Peter's training. Many events are being set up and will cause massive death, are you fine with risking your normal life?" Yami gave them the final warning and gave the suit to Cindy as well along with the seal before disappearing.
They had no reason to believe she was lying to them so the girls took it seriously. Cindy wasn't interested in fighting for others but found the idea of hero's fun.
"You can just train and return back to your normal life. We will protect you." Gwen said as she walked closer and held her hand.
"No, I will think it over while we are training and let's see what our leader/master has to say." Cindy shook her head and gave a small smile as she got up.
"You can trust Peter, he is a very smart guy and he is very kind so he won't forget about your wellbeing."
"I will take your words for now. Let's get something to eat since they aren't coming back." Cindy said and just then they heard Jess scream in extreme pleasure.
'Did I also make such a noise?' Both girls thought and felt embarrassed.
'So this was the reason for her smirk. She wants to show Peter that she is better. What foolishness? We are still better suit especially now since the only advantage she had is gone.' Gwen smiled confidently as she thought about Jess.
To Gwen, Jess was playing a rigged game. Peter didn't love her since he never said those words, meaning he didn't love her.
He was also attracted to her beauty and intelligence so it was just a matter of time that he would break up with Jess for her, if she continued to push.
"Let's go, they are definitely not coming out anytime soon." Gwen said as she turned to Cindy and walked towards the kitchen according the data given to them by Yami.

A King in the Clouds
Tanlar. A cruel, repulsive, and foul word. It meant untitled, officially, but it also meant ungifted, unable, unworthy, unnecessary, unhuman. It was more a curse than a term, a badge only the damned and condemned wore. To be a tanlar was to know your life, your entire being, was insignificant. Once Kaizer had resigned himself to such a fate, but those times had passed. He may have been untitled, but he was anything but untalented. He refused to scrape by at the bottom of society. Those who stood above him could sneer all they liked, but he wouldn’t suffer being stepped on for long. He’d be better, much better. But of course he would be. ‘Fate’ demanded it so. [Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] What To Expect: The story of a boy becoming a man becoming a king + everything that entails. Largely gamelit, but later arcs could be called litrpg. Also schemes. A lot of schemes. I do love some good ol' fantasy politics and intrigue. Minimum Word Count a Week: TBA after Writathon Release Time(s): Daily for as long as I can/until the end of the Writathon. I also write The Deathseeker [Returning Dec 5th]
