《Fire Magician.》Lone Survivor#Chapter VII

Under any other circumstance, he would chose Vanessa over Alan due to her beauty and useful skill. But unfortunately, Vanessa was already taken into the special position of a healer acknowledge by Henry.
Hard to take her into his side.
She would heal those too injured to fight, positioned, in the center of the formation for protection. Those Rangers that are useless in battle would bring her the injured students to her so she could heal them, bringing them back into the fight.
Ain't that of a good strategy.
The problem with that plan is that first of all, taking a body is not that easy, let's take into account that it's going to proceed in the midst of the battle when you can't stay idle if you want to live. Second, they're not professional, actually, it's a first for everyone in this pack of students, mistakes are prone to be done. Third, Vanessa Mana pool ain't that big, kinda a bit smaller than his, which means that three or four injured students would be enough to tire her out.
Maybe more, or maybe less. He doesn't know the actual consumption of her skill, and the variables, that could make her Mana consumption be greater or lesser.
Anyways, enough talking about Vanessa.
Alan apparently wasn't deemed that necessary or that prioritized. Henry just told him to defend those that he could and that would be positioned close to Vanessa for greater protection.
So protecting him, Carlos and Fredo, over other student's wouldn't be that suspicious.
The problem is that he doesn't know anything about Alan, he doesn't know the way to talk to him, friendly? neutral? aggressive? Obviously friendly would be the best way, but getting too overly friendly could make it easier for Alan to reject him. Now, if Alan attitude, is meek then it should be easier forcing him to join by approaching an aggressive way. Now, if Alan is somebody that doesn't show emotions, then a neutral tone would be ideal, being overly aggressive or overly friendly wouldn't be good for someone that doesn't care about that.
"1 MINUTE! PREPARE!" Henry's voice resounded as more people gathered around him ready to receive instructions, Alan, among them.

Oh well, no plan is perfect. First, let's go with friendly talk, but not too over-friendly.
He began rapidly walking towards Alan, Carlos behind him. Once behind the Magician, he placed his hand over Alan's right shoulder and started.
"Hey, Alan! Care hearing me a bit?"
Alan's black eyes turned to him, observing him with a confused look "¿What do you want? ¿Also who are you?" He's not meek, neither neutral/emotionless blondie concluded.
Aggressive talk won't do, it would bring more problems than anything else. A friendly way should be.
"Kinda just call me Cesar. ¿What I want? Well... ya know? This whole thing could go horribly wrong pretty fast ya know? So been thinking about a counter-measure for that situation"
"And that is..."
"A collab- Of course!"
"Huh..."
"Just thought about integrating you into our group, ya know, ur skill is pretty useful. So... if things, for some reason go south, we could regroup into the back of the formation slowly retreating defending each other, what'cha think?"
At those words, Alan only plastered visible confusion over his face "Huh... Dude, I don't know you. I've got friends ya know? I'd rather stay with em than you and..." at those words, Cesar froze for a moment.
Friends.
Right.
Something he barely has and didn't take into account. ¿Why joining someone else, when you have your own group of friends?
Regardless of his mistake, he must continue, no backing off.
But before he could continue, Carlos, that had been the whole time silently watching the scene developing with a goofy smile, proceed on with the talk.
"I'm Carlos!" he shouted.
"Huh... kay. Anyways, if that's all-"
"Hey, Cmon, and what'd about it if ya have friends?! Let's just merge everyone and shit on, ¿Right!" the brute said enthusiastically with his goofy smile "We just grouping if shit goes shit, Oka!"
"Huh... Okay?"
"And hey! Don'tcha have a Melee dude in your group? I and him could fight like pals over dere defending each other ya know! And ya could support us with your Barrier shit don't ya think so?!"

"Huh... Actually yeah, I've got two friends that got classified into Melee. It would be great if you could help them fight. We... ain't that accustomed fighting you know?"
Carlos grin got bigger and proceeded with the talk earning an easied smile from Alan, the situation was going smoothly.
He shut it off and watched as the scene developed between both fellow classmates. Alan was easing off with Carlos, something which was great. Soon enough Carlos and 'Cesar' met up with the friends of Alan.
2 Melee's and 1 Ranger. None of them seemed out of the ordinary nor were their skills. The two Melees were named as Victor and Jhon, 'Strong kick TIER I' and 'Push TIER I' respectively. The Ranger with the skill 'Accurate shoot TIER I' It seemed as he would be part of Vanessa group, dragging injured student's to her.
Before they could get to know each other more thoroughly Henry shouted.
"EVERYONE! TO YOUR RESPECTIVE POSITIONS. I'M GONNA REPEAT THE FORMATION. MELEE FIGHTERS AT THE FRONT, RANGERS AT THE MIDDLE AND FINALLY MAGES AT THE BACK!"
The positions were... stupid. Why you may ask. Well, because someone like him, with a wide range skill, won't be able to use his skill it in its full potential if that means roasting every student that is in front of him. Not only him but Igor, someone other people name that he doesn't remember, but had a root spike skill, that if used in the back, would undoubtedly impale more than 1 student, and Lighting zap dude would most than certain electrocute some fellow student instead of a vile Goblin or Werewolf.
The Rangers, after scouting, should be positioned in the back to guard the rear. The Mages in the center of the formation and have certain codes so as to let them pass and use their skills then quickly move to the back.
But unfortunately, it was clear that trying to form codes and formations would be hard, much harder if rushed in less than a day.
Not only that but most students would get confused, some of them doing as told previously, but others reacting slowly and disrupting the 'formation'
Once again he couldn't help but sigh at the terrible situation they were in. The more he thought about it, the less hope he had of surviving.
Should he repeat that the Werewolves may have status screen and so, levels, and so, if they were massacring both, Humans and Goblins, then, by all means, they should be somewhat alike level 3? more or less?
Yep, hope as bleak as shit.
Cesar called over Alex getting him next to him. He, with all his wits, decided to ignore Henry order and position himself next to Carlos, Alex with him, wearing a neutral smile, but his nervousness clear to him.
Carlos is currently talking with Victor and John easying their worries with his shows of strength and bravery. Alan a bit further away from him, just next to Vanessa. Lighting zap dude and Root dude at the very back. Igor next to Henry and Oscar.
Henry at the very front of the metal gate, connecting the Gym with the Hallways. Talking with some Rangers/Scouts, one in particular that he recognized.
Fredo.
Finally, it seemed as the talk finished and Henry began talking.
"First of all, Fredo, Jasmine and Jesica will scout the hallways! Once done! We're going to aim for the weak and solo monsters! Our final aim is getting used to this situation and exterminate every monster! Not only that, but also getting in contact with the Seniors! Surely they must be considering we as well survived!"
At that various students nodded. That plan was discussed and it decided that they should look for the Seniors. If 15-year-old kids survived then surely 18-year-old young adults should have survived as well.
"But for now! Our main aim should be to survive! Getting the hang of it and aiming for small monsters groups! Leveling up and getting stronger!"
Finally, Henry turned around and began unlocking the Metal door.
"Let's try our best!"
The Metal door was opened, and before anyone could realize what was happening, blood was drawn.
"HENRY!"

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.
