《Gargoile found the library tower》Chapter 6. King

I´m king. I consider that I´m wise king at least I hope to be. Everyday has been busy for long time. Naturally I have spent all my free time with my family. Unfortunately I don´t have any friend. I used to have a lots of friends but now everything is about work. It is difficult to consider them as friends. Naturally I haven´t lost good will for them.
I went to royal storage room with my work equipment. Unlike other places. This is only place where only king can enter. For that reason I´m supposed to clean here by myself. As I entered I saw sight which I haven´t seen ever before.
I have magical talent of royal appraisal. It is different from normal appraisal by it can change others stats. Thanks to it I knew this place was library and explanation what it is. I also saw this place´s owner. Gargoyle which name is Gargoile. Unfortunately I couldn´t see anything else. This still told me he has a name. I haven´t heard any Gargoyle how had a name. I didn´t think it was possible.
He even looks different from common gargoyle. He is 5 meters tall. It is giantic statue. Well that part isn´t so strange. Strangest thing is he looks like human being. Most gargoyles looks like lizards or at least are close to it. Some have claimed they were ones lizardmen how roomed swamps.
"Welcome to the library." (Gargoile)
"Thank you for having me visit your library." (King)
"You seem to have visited libraries before." (Gargoile)
"No. That isn´t the case." (King)
"What do you mean?" (Gargoile)
"There is no such things as libraries in my country or other as I am aware of." (King)
"There has been guest how said she knew about libraries and you said yourself that this was a library." (Gargoile)

"I have skill which tells me about what is around me accurately. Thanks to it. I knew this was a library and I knew what it is. As for you friend. I have no idea how she knew about it for sure. She could have been someone with similar skill." (King)
"I see." (Gargoile)
"Wait a minute. There has been others how have been here before." (King)
"Yes. Everyone is welcome to stay here as long as they follow library´s rulers. By the way. Can your skill tell what are this places rulers?" (Gargoile)
"Yes. It can. It even tells me how I´m punished if I don´t follow them." (King)
"It is that accurate. Seems way more useful than my skill." (Gargoile)
"Don´t say that. I can´t see your skills which tells me they are stronger than mine. Although I would advice you to write them next to you so they can read them immediately after coming here." (King)
"Thank you for your encouragement and I sure will do as you advised." (Gargoile)
"I want to ask some questions about this place." (King)
"Sure. What do you want to know?" (Gargoile)
"This place is dangerous. How are you keeping this knowledge hidden from those how would misuse them?" (King)
"Nothing." (Gargoile)
"What?! You can´t be serious!" (King)
"No yelling. You should know that." (Gargoile)
He put his large finger between his lips. I haven´t seen such gesture before. Most likely it tells me to stay quiet. What is he thinking? This place is far too dangerous.
"That can´t possibly work." (King)
"Why not? There is no use of knowledge which isn´t shared. Naturally I don´t have any intentions to give harmful knowledge those how aren´t worth it. Unfortunately it is difficult to know how are worthy. For that reason I have methods avoid those dangerous people. Firstly my appearance and secondly location. There is high chance that this is our last time together." (Gargoile)

Indeed. Those after harmful knowledge would run away because they looked at him. Those how aren´t deceaved by his appearance are more likely kind and wise.
I couldn´t stay longer since my family is waiting for me. So I gave my goodbyes.
Does he understand how strange this place is? My skill showed that all books are readable to all races. Races can´t teach knowwledge outside their race. Do you understand how dangerous would it be if races like goblins learn how to reinforce their kinds fighting potential? You are capable to do just that. Just how are you?

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.

Awakening
A potent tale of self-discovery. Centuries ago, the prophetic Golden Age ended in war, and history spiraled into darkness... Now, only scholars retain the last portent of the mythic city A'lara, concealed in a distant glade for the advent of the dragon mage. At the edge of the Known World, the slave Larin escapes her new lord before she meets his dark masters. Deep in the mountains, the legendary elf Kingard awaits his call to battle. When young Darek flees imperial mages tasked to exterminate shape-shifters, he launches them all on a voyage to redeem their unsought destiny. United by fate and guided by prophesy, their growing band of fugitives journey for A'lara to fight the ancient evil infiltrating the capital. But looming over the gears of fate, their enemies follow the same prophesies. With the unknown close upon them, Kingard and his allies face a mortal quest to restore their infected empire. Praise for Awakening: If you love Anne McCaffrey, J.R.R. Tolkien and Tad Williams, then Awakening is a novel you will surely want to pick up. D.N.Frost is a consummate world-builder with a knack for creating characters that are complex and three-dimensional. Frost writes with graceful prose that is descriptive and well-edited. The plot is fast-paced and entertaining. What really sets this novel apart is the cartography, which is a spectacular accomplishment. Incredible world-building! - M.L. Spencer, author of The Rhenwars Saga ★★★★★ This novel was published in 2014, and it includes 19 antique watercolor maps! Check them out: Maps of Awakening: an atlas directory

A Bloody Game
Eric Hunter, a boy who took a gamble with his life on the line, soon finds out that the pay off took a very different direction that he thought. Having just awoken from a pre-op only to find himself confused and all alone in a changed world and a hospital consumed by chaos he must do all he can to survive. In a new world where society crumbles and laws are merely pretty words on written paper, how will a boy who has been restricted his whole life live now that there is nothing to hold him back? When everything turns into a zero sum game of dog eat dog, they'll find that The Hunter is an all too willing participant, but he will soon find out that he isn't the only player of this game. First story I'm posting and I don't really have a cool synopsis, sorry everyone, but this story is just another LitRPG apocalypse. I guess the only difference is that the main character isn't a hero. He's not here to save the world, he's not here to make friends, and he's definitely not here to save everyone. He's probably what the villains in other similar stories would be actually. Just writing for fun, advice or constructive critism is welcomed, writing style prone to change. Warning: Incredible amounts of poor grammar, Gore, Profanities, Traumatizing content, and cliches(I plan to have multiple main characters, maybe this is too ambitious for my poor skills, but it seems like it would be fun to try, the other MCs won't show up until later on.) The cover image isn't mine I just found it online. It's a piece by Stephanie Frey This takes inspiration from a lot of great stories on here, but I find the beginning to be most similar to Blood Lust by DefinitelyNotJormlung. Starcraft and Warhammer 40k and survival world rpg by S_Conary will also influenced this (at least that's my plan if I ever get that far or finish this) Also please stay with me until chapter 3. I suck at starting stories, but have been told I get better as I'm further along.
