《Is this some kind of joke, God?》Setting in the new Localization | 8

The beach stretches for miles and there is a gentle breeze heading from the ocean. A lovely view that will assist us in a variety of aspects. The location we found is brilliant tactically. the road, the shore, and the water. The islands are the sole missing element. The beach, though, wasn't quite like I was used to. Without the sand, it resembled more the shore of a small lake. In any case, it's a wonderful start.
"Decent." I said, grinning.
"What's next, Generalmajor?"
I nearly forgot that my new rank will now be utilised to address me. My uniform stands out too much and is something I must get rid of. Any cretin will realize that I'm the most important figure in the area, and the local residents may assume that half it is made of some gold and seek to rob me. Problematic.
"We set up a base, and scout the area."
One of the most crucial factors that will strengthen base defensive strategy is field discernment. I want to know about every potential location for an ambush and where the nearest town is, however this time I don't want to enter the area with a force that can take it over. This was a foolish decision.
Regardless, my men began to exit the trucks and half-tracks. And the tanks positioned themselves to best protect the area we were in. Heintz also redeployed multiple reconnaissance groups, each of which included nine additional soldiers and NCOs.
To create a base, I began summoning structures like buildings, hangars, and other aspects. Because once again, someone might misunderstand me for a threat, I didn't wish for it to be too big. This time, the base had a small port and an airport. I strengthened it by adding more fortifications with machine guns and snipers in them. Additionally, the HQ building was once more in the middle of the base. this time bigger, with personal space for myself, and my staff officers, it also included brand new prison that could hold up to 40 people.
"Erica, bring Heintz to me."
Organization is crucial when you have a sizable number of subordinates, and within the military it is especially fundamental. Presently, the situation was regrettable because I was the General and only "Leutanat" Erica and Leutanat Heintz remained as officers.
Intolerable, a key organisational gaffe. To make the army the best it can be, relative speaking, I must summon more officers under my authority. Heintz should be directly beneath me, implying that he should be issued the rank of Oberst.

"You wanted to see me, Generalmajor?"
Maria went behind me and stood next to Erica. You should make a pleasant and even patriotic remark when you promote someone. He deserved it as compensation for his efforts, so it should be a reward. It may also improve his mood.
"Yes, Heintz. I wanted to congratulate you personally on your promotion to Oberst. In the future, I expect you to do more for the Fatherland."
His rank changed, as did his appearance accordingly to the given rank standard. He appeared ecstatic that his troubles had been recognized. It's so simple to make people happy.
"Long live The Empire! Thank you Generalmajor, I will not disappoint you."
"Oberst Heintz, please reorganize our ground forces and compile a list of demands for it to ensure that our army is operating at peak efficiency."
"Understood, Generalmajor."
"Go now, do your work."
"Yes, sir."
After about an hour, Heintz returned with the following organizational plan:
Infantry Regiment Regimental HQ Infantry Infantry Howitzer Company Company HQ Infantry Battalion Company HQ Signal Platoon Infantry Battalion 75mm Infantry Ho. Platoon Engineer Platoon Infantry Battalion 75mm Infantry Ho. Platoon 150mm Infantry Ho. Platoon
With my current abilities, I could summon up to 7 Regiments, which equates to about 4 Divisions. I made the decision to summon everything as Heintz had intended, including three infantry divisions with one change, I summoned one armored division, which I believed should have taken the place of our original "Rapid Response Unit." The identity "Panzer Division RRU" or simply "RRU" was given to it because of this. I acknowledged it was beneficial to have a division with a name that would be utilized frequently. Of course, the already summoned unities were simply attached to the divisions.

"Huh?"
"Titles informations."

"Organizer" It looks like a useful buff. Meanwhile, the scouts we dispatched have come back.
The NCO leader came up to me and said, "Generalmajor, I have a report to give you."
"Speed freely."
"Understood, the city is close by. It appears to have between 10,000 and 20,000 residents. There is a lot of traffic and also no monsters were discovered, either. If the need arises, our location is ideal for a surprise attack."
"Thank you, go back to your assigned position within base and await orders."
Perfect, no annoying monsters to bother us. Perhaps the city is the only thing to be concerned about. In any case, we have to make ourselves undetectable. I conjured up a lot of camouflage to disguise the base; I wasn't certain how efficient it would be, but it's undoubtedly far more effective now than it was previously.
I would learn a lot of the information I need if I could make some friendly acquaintances with people from this city. I must go there, but not without protection. In order for them to respond, I'm stationing the RRU close to the city. In addition, I'm placing two infantry divisions on alert. When the situation calls, I'll destroy this city just like I did the previous one.
"Heintz, I will be leaving soon."
"Where are you going Generalmajor?"
"To the city nearby."
"Are you sure it's safe?"
"I'm not, but I plan to station our RRU division nearby. Moreover put 2 infantry divisions on alert."
"Understood, Generalmajor. Please, alert me when you will be departing."
"Sure."
After that, Erica and Maria stood by the door to prevent anyone from entering, and I went to my personal room in the headquarters building.
I have to throw this uniform away. I practically stand now as a screaming target "I'm right here! Kill me!". A completely unnecessary threat. However, as I previously mentioned, organization is crucial in the military. I therefore need to have a uniform.
I made the choice to reintroduce the recruit's basic uniform, but I incorporated my general rank to the sleeves. It has improvement over before. I now have to consider what to wear when I venture into the city. I've seen a few members of this society, so I have a basic understanding of "Fashion.". In a previous life, I despised fashion. A needless expense of funds towards something shiny. As a consequence, I ended up losing my "friends" because they thought I dressed "monotonously" and they were embarrassed of me. Assholes.
In any case, I made the decision to bring the suit. I had seen some people walking around in this attire, but I wasn't quite certain if it was common; perhaps it was for professional reasons? Whatever, it fulfills my requirements for not standing out too much. I grabbed my sidearm to protect myself. I'm hoping it will not evoke any attention. Erica and Maria were following me once I left the room; after all, they were my bodyguards. But I was unable to take them with me.
"Erica, Maria. Stay in HQ while I leave for the town."
"What! But Generalmajor! We have to come with you, what if someone attacks you!", Erica shouted and Maria agreed.
"Stay in the base, if you want to help tell Heintz that I left."
"But you cannot leave alone, please Generalmajor, allow us to go with you!"
"Do you mean to tell me that you do not intend to follow the order given by your superior?"
"The military doesn't need people who don't obey orders like you.", I unfastened my sidearm.
"We uh, understood Generalmajor. We'll tell Oberst Heintz that you left, have a safe trip."
"It's good that you have some oil in your heads, but don't assume that this incident will go unpunished."
I don't require anyone who won't obey my directions to the very last detail. The slightest hesitation is outright abhorrent; perhaps it could serves as a warning of what might occur if an order is disobeyed. In any case, I set off on my way to the city.
"Haha, do you see this lucifer? Everything going well and perfect for me! How sad it must be for you, too bad!"

Queen in the Mud
A girl suddenly vanishes from her world and finds herself drifting in and out of consciousness in a world of pure darkness. Queen in the Mud is an unusual litrpg novel featuring a female monster protagonist as she makes her way through a vicious untamed world ruled by a "system." (Book one of this story is now available on kindle unlimited. To satisfy exclusivity requirements on that platform, the chapters here have been removed. Here is a link to the book on amazon. I do plan on posting chapters for book two on royal road, but I don't currently have an estimated date for release.) (Cover art by Monomus)

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!

Conquest of Avalon
Revenge. The Kingdom of Avalon swept across the Empire of the Fox a generation past, conquering the heartlands and leaving the broken remnants to stew in the island duchy of Guerron. This isn't a story of Good versus Evil, of kindly kings doing their best to lift all subjects, or of unvarnished heroes doing battle against evil. Instead, this story is about power: who has it, who wants it, and what people will do to obtain it. It is about the violence inherent in the imperial project and how even the most well-intentioned rulers and conquerors are, still, engaging in systemic violence against those conquered and defeated. Our three point-of-view characters are a peasant turned fire wizard, an excitable duelist with more enthusiasm than sense, and a scheming mage-priestess bent on reclaiming her family's birthright and waging war on the foreign oppressors who rule her home... no matter the cost in blood or treasure.
